  • the present invention relates to a method of handling a temporary disturbance in a packaging machine, having a moving endless loop with carriers for packages, initially in the form of blanks supplied to the carriers at one portion of the loop and after certain packaging operation steps ejected from the carriers at another portion thereof for final processing.
  • waste is not accepted. It is therefore the purpose of the present invention to propose a solution to minimize the amount of waste due to a temporary disturbance in for instance a final folding step or later such as in a sterilisation process.

Claims (4)

  1. Verfahren zur Handhabung einer zeitweiligen Störung in einer Verpackungsmaschine, die eine sich bewegende Endlosschleife (1) mit Trägern (2) für Verpackungen (P) hat, eingangs in Form von Zuschnitten, die ihr an einem Abschnitt der Schleife zugeführt werden und nach bestimmten Verpackungsoperationsschritten von den Trägern (2) an einem anderen Abschnitt hiervon zur abschließenden Bearbeitung ausgeworfen werden,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Auswurf der Verpackungen (P) von den Trägern (2) unterbrochen wird, wenn eine solche auf der Endlosschleife weiter unten auftretende Störung entdeckt wird, wobei sich die Endlosschleife (1) mit den nicht ausgeworfenen Verpackungen in den Trägern (2) weiter bewegt.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Zufuhr der Zuschnitte (4) zeitgleich mit dem Unterbrechen des Auswurfs der gefüllten und versiegelten Verpackungen (P) unterbrochen wird.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das alle der Maschine bei der Unterbrechung bereits zugeführten Zuschnitte (4) zu versiegelten Verpackungen (P) fertig gestellt werden, die anschließend in den Trägern (2) verbleiben.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Träger (2) weiter auf der Maschine zirkulieren, wobei alle normalen Verpackungsformschritte abgeschaltet sind, bis die Störung behoben wurde.
