Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé qui permettent de former un petit tapis en utilisant au moins une surface d'usure remplaçable placée sur un plancher ou un faux plancher. Le système comprend une base et au moins une surface d'usure remplaçable, ces deux éléments pouvant être découpés pour s'adapter à une surface utile dans presque n'importe quelle configuration. Le système peut se fixer au plancher au moyen d'un adhésif, d'un ruban double face, ou d'une garniture. Il peut tenir avec ou sans adhésif ou sans aucune fixation. La garniture peut se fixer coextensivement à la base et à la surface d'usure remplaçable, ou par endroits, notamment aux angles d'intersection. Le système peut être vendu à des consommateurs sous forme de kit autonome ou de groupe d'éléments pouvant être sélectionnés séparément.
