Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a system for monitoring persons, especially children and adults in need of supervision, after the preamble of claim 1.
  • this system includes an indication of the approximate position the supervised person.
  • These are eight circular arranged Light-emitting diodes, depending on the position of the monitored person come on.
  • US-A-6 084 517 describes a satellite positioning system which does not only consuming and costly, but also unsuitable for a Monitoring of persons in buildings. The contact takes place here namely each held via the satellite.
  • the invention is based on the object, a system of the aforementioned Kind of improving.
  • the system according to the invention in particular in homes be used, in which the persons in need of supervision are free can move. Now the person leaves the home and moves away further than the predetermined value thereof, the warning signal is output and action can be taken immediately to the person to find again and bring back to the home and from harm to preserve.
  • the permissible distance can be correspondingly larger here be set.
  • the value of the permissible distance is adjustable.
  • the monitoring can thereby adapt to the respective conditions be adjusted. For example, in a department store set a lower allowable distance than on one Playground. The supervisor will only be warned if actually the risk of getting lost or endangering the Child exists.
  • the basic idea of the invention is to exceed the predetermined distance to send a message, in particular to a landline or mobile phone, for example by SMS (Short Message Service) or as an e-mail to a computer. With that too can notify other persons or several persons at the same time become. It is preferred if transmitter and / or receiver GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication). The system is thereby also outside country borders applicable.
  • SMS Short Message Service
  • GSM Global System for Mobile Communication
  • a message can also be sent as an emergency call to a police station become. In special cases or when exceeding one particular This can quickly trigger a police action over a long distance become.
  • means are provided by which the output of the warning signal is stopped again when the distance falls below the predetermined value again.
  • This can be the Supervisor to be recognized that the monitored Person resumes within the predetermined distance. The finding is thereby facilitated.
  • the transmitter and / or the receiver are preferably battery operated. As a result, there is no dependence on a power grid.
  • transmitter and / or receiver have These devices prefer a board in SMD technology.
  • the transmitter uses a printed antenna for this purpose.
  • Transmitter and receiver preferably operate on the radio principle, in particular with high frequency modulation. This has been for the present Purpose turned out to be particularly suitable.
  • the transmitter and / or the receiver have a plastic housing.
  • the radio transmission is thereby largely unhindered possible.
  • warning signal can be both a visual and an audible warning or both. It is preferred when the Warning signal with increasing distance between transmitter and receiver changes, for example, gets louder or faster. It is also possible provide several light emitting diodes, one of which with the distance increasing number is activated. The supervisor receives by on the one hand, additional information. On the other hand, the attention value the warning signal thereby increases, so that the supervisor can react faster.
  • three light emitting diodes may be provided in the receiver of which one at a free distance of 5 m, two at one free distance of 10 m and all three at a free distance of 15 m light up. Is the free connection between sender and receiver interrupted, for example by a wall, so are the distances correspondingly lower, in which the respective light-emitting diodes come on.
  • the receiver can be switched to a mode where the warning signal is more intense with decreasing distance, especially louder or faster. This mode is chosen as soon as a warning signal has been issued and now the person with the Sender should be found. The increasing with decreasing distance Intensity of the signal makes it easier to find one Bearing.
  • the receiver is also portable trained. This embodiment is in particular for monitoring of children by supervisors makes sense with the Want to move children freely.
  • the receiver is fixed Installed. This embodiment is particularly in the monitoring of supervised adults who are housed in a home are. No portable receiver is required here.
  • the receiver has multiple channels for different transmitters. This can be done with a receiver several people are monitored.
  • the transmitter has a Attachment or a fastening tape on.
  • the transmitter can thus quickly and easily attached to the person to be monitored become.
  • the transmitter has a housing with a child-friendly shape, For example, has moon or star shape. The acceptance of the device with the children this is increased.
  • the transmitter 1 shown in Figure 1 is as small as possible and with a fastening device, such as a clip or a Band attached to a person, such as the jacket or the Wrist of a child to be attached.
  • the transmitter 1 has for example, a diameter of 0.5 to 0.7 cm and has a weight of about 20 g.
  • it includes a circuit board with a circuit in SMD technology and a small battery for power supply.
  • the antenna is preferred on the Sender 1 printed.
  • the receiver 2 shown in Figure 1 can also be made portable be and have a small size. He can also do this Circuit board with a circuit in SMD technology and a small battery for Have power. Also, the recipient can print with a Reception antenna be provided. The receiver 2 can but be formed slightly larger than the transmitter. 1
  • Transmitter 1 and receiver 2 act in particular according to the radio principle together, wherein the radio waves preferably high-frequency modulated are. The reception is thus even with obstacles between Transmitter 1 and receiver 2 guaranteed.
  • the receiver 2 comprises a Warning device that is activated as soon as the distance between transmitter 1 and receiver 2 a predetermined value, in particular adjustable can be exceeded.
  • the output from the warning device Warning signal can be both visual and audible or other Be kind and on the size of the distance between transmitter 1 and receiver 2 depend.
  • a set distance can be, for example, 5 to 15 m.
  • the operating time of the transmitter 1 and the receiver 2 can be, for example, three hours.
  • the Stomario can also be rechargeable trained.
  • the receiver 2 is permanently installed and has several channels, each one of several transmitters 1 are assigned. Each channel is also an optical warning device 3 assigned, for example, a warning lamp. Furthermore the receiver 2 may be an audible warning device for all channels have in common. While the audible warning device to do so serves to attract the attention of the supervisor, this can determine via the optical warning devices 3 which of the transmitters 1 led to an output of the warning signal. This is for the supervisor recognizable, which supervised person is further than the has removed predetermined value.
  • the permissible distance can be be larger, for example, be 30 m.
  • the distinction of the different ones Sender 1 can also be done in other ways.
