Definitions

  • the invention also relates to a device for flushing toilet bowl according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Methods for flushing toilet bowl can be divided into two groups: First, the flushing is accomplished by means of water, which is located in a water tank as far as possible above the toilet bowl. In this method, the pressure with which the water arrives in the sink depends on the geodetic height of the channel box in relation to the toilet bowl. On the other hand, this method ensures that the fresh water network does not come into contact with used water of any kind whatsoever.
  • the pressure of the fresh water supply network (eg 4 bar) is used to supply water under the highest possible pressure in the bowl of the toilet.
  • a water-pressure flush valve with a water tank (DE 299 01 848-U) and flushing devices for water closets (DE 26 19 346-A, US 4,462,124 and US 4,510,629 A), wherein from an existing Fresh water supply network rinse water removed and passed through nozzles in the toilet bowl, wherein a free flow path between the pipe end to the rinse water surface for the fresh water should be provided in the flow direction behind a pipe separator or a valve, wherein a receiving line receives fresh water in the form of a forming plug and under pressure dispenses the rinsing nozzles.
  • the rinse water is passed through the drainage line to the toilet bowl under the influence of gravity.
  • the present invention addresses the problem of providing a device of the kind set forth in which the hygienic requirements can be met, although the flushing operation can be carried out at high pressure.
  • a pressurized water plug is understood to mean a closed quantity of water which forms in a pipe or a hose and which can be put under high pressure and accordingly emerges from the pipe at this high pressure.
  • a water column initially forms upon initial filling and, further, when water is sprayed onto the water column from above under the pressure of the supply network, the water of the water column at the lower end of the tube passes under the operating pressure (increased by the geodesic) Proportion, reduced by the pressure drop in the pipe) and can be used to rinse Toilet bowls are used far more effectively than flowing down from a water tank water.
  • An essential feature of the invention is the route of the free flow of exiting the supply network water. So if a distance of for example two cm provided behind a valve or a pipe separator, in which the escaping water can flow freely without touching any walls, so dirt particles, pathogens and the like can not get back to the pressurized water supply network, because the water in this way freely flows. Even if blockages occur at any point in the system, an overflow or the like can ensure that dammed up water can only rise to a certain level, but does not rise to the pipe divider.
  • the present invention is characterized by the combination of this pressurized water plug and the free flow feature.
  • the pressure acting in the toilet bowl corresponds essentially to the operating or supply pressure of the network, on the other hand, a perfect separation between service water and fresh water is ensured.
  • the receiving conduit is surrounded by a tube. As a result, splashing or such water that missed the receiving line, be discharged into the bowl of the toilet.
  • the receiving line need not be centric to the pipe, on the contrary, this line could follow a curve that allows a gradual change of direction from the vertical to the horizontal direction in the toilet bowl, in order to obtain a more uniform flow, in particular lower pipe friction losses in purchasing to have to take.
  • a receiving hopper may be present on the receiving line or the receiving line could be formed tapering toward the basin.
  • the upper edge of the receiving line could be internally connected to this sheath.
  • a breakthrough would have to be present in the area of the funnel, so that the ascending in the receiving line water can be discharged through this overflow into the toilet bowl.
  • Such overflows are not required if the outer upper edge of the receiving hopper in the shell maintains a distance, so that the funnel edge serves as an overflow and thus determines the highest geodetic height of the water column of the process water.
  • an air intake is provided in the tube which surrounds the receiving line.
  • This Air intake must be below the free flow path and then can serve as overflow in this embodiment. Namely, if the nozzles in the toilet bowl and / or the inlet of the receiving line dirty or clogged, the hot water would get over the air intake to the outside, it can not rise up to the height of the pipe separator anyway.
  • the arrangement of the supply line need not be vertical, other orientations, for example, substantially horizontal, are also conceivable, but then it must be ensured that the exiting water jet is aligned with the receiving tube.
  • both the seat frame and the toilet lid in the lower region are provided with sealing means.
  • this results in a noise damping on the other hand, it can be ensured that no air is sucked in over the edge of the basin during the flushing process. In this case, the air is sucked in via the jacket which surrounds the suction line, and in this way the efficiency of the flushing process can be improved.
  • any barrier can be used which prevents the direct exit of sound.
  • these sealing means or the sound-repellent parts are integrally formed with the seat or the toilet lid.
  • a water column or a water plug forms in the receiving line at the beginning of the rinsing process.
  • the first exiting from the network water runs through the receiving line into the toilet bowl, but as more water is introduced as can escape into the basin, the level increases. If this level reaches the highest value, the water which continues to escape can act under full pressure on this surface, and the pressure plug formed in this way passes under high pressure into the sink.
  • the optimal conditions for this can be adjusted depending on pipe length and pipe diameter and geodetic height and water pressure through experiments and / or calculation, so that in a vacuum toilet according to the invention rinsing with a liter or 1.5 l can be performed quite satisfactory.
  • 10 denotes a toilet bowl.
  • This toilet bowl is flushed through nozzles 11, which are shown only schematically. It comes in connection with the invention not so much to the arrangement of the flushing nozzles. It can certainly be used rinsing nozzles, which are located in the back of the sink 10.
  • the toilet bowl 10 is closed at the top by a seat 50 and a lid 51.
  • Shown schematically at 52 is a circumferential seal disposed on the lower surface of the seat 50 and shown in FIG Location rests on the edge of the toilet bowl 10 and seals there.
  • the lid 51 is provided with a corresponding circumferential seal 53 on the lower boundary surface, and in the illustrated embodiment, this seal 53 seals on the upper surface of the seat 50. Overall, through the two seals 52 and 53, the interior of the bowl of the toilet 10 sealed to the outside.
  • the toilet bowl is connected in the rear area with a tube 40. Not shown is the outer seal in the access hole of the toilet bowl.
  • the tube 40 has the usual dimensions, e.g. 40 mm in diameter, and leads a short distance in a horizontal direction and then a slightly longer piece in a vertical upward direction.
  • the tube 40 merges integrally into a jacket 20 and tapers again in the upper region, where it is closed off via a conventional pipe separator 12 or has a connection to the fresh water supply network.
  • the receiving line 15 leads in the lower area substantially horizontally in the interior of the toilet bowl 10. After a curved area then increases the receiving line 15 at the top.
  • an extension is provided in the form of a funnel 14. It can be seen that the funnel does not quite reach the inner dimensions of the shell 20, but that there is an annular space 4 is present. Likewise, two circular breakthroughs can be seen, one of which has been designated 16. The function of these parts will be explained below:
  • the tube 40 is internally provided with a suction hopper 30, which is mounted below the upper limit of the receiving line 15.
  • This intake port 30 is configured to receive air from the exterior and to enter the space between parts 40 and 15.
  • the gap between the upper extension of the conduit 13 and the outlet of the pipe separator 12 is designated. It is this space in which the water coming from the supply network can flow freely, and as shown in the following description, also only in this direction.
  • the pipe separator 12 is actuated and water exits the supply network. This water enters the receiving line 15, and since only a relatively small amount exits at the lower end, the level in the receiving line 15 rises until finally the uppermost level at the height of the overflow openings 16 or, if these are not present, the upper edge of the funnel 14 is reached.
  • the still exiting water from the pipe separator 12 can now with the full supply pressure acting on this plug in the receiving line 15 and water therefore exits at relatively high pressure (about supply pressure) from the nozzles 11.
  • the basin may be closed during flushing upwards, so that no air is sucked in via the opening of the basin.
  • the air is sucked in via the intake pipe 30 and noise that arises in the toilet bowl by the shooting of the water or by the collapse of the vacuum in the discharge of the drainage mass, therefore, can escape strongly attenuated to the outside.
  • the einsch manende water runs at the end of the free flow path 13 via the annular space 4 also in the basin. Is this inlet, for whatever reason, clogged, so can enter via the receiving line 15 incoming water either on the upper edge of the pool or, if this is not possible, this contaminated water could at most to the intake 30th rise, it could never get back to the pipe separator 12.
  • the sucked air and the rinse water enter the toilet bowl in substantially the same direction. This is a consequence of the fact that the bowl is sealed upwards during rinsing, so that no air is sucked in during the rinsing process via this otherwise customary access. As a result, the rinsing water reaches the rinsing insert at relatively high speed and unrestrainedly due to countercurrent air, thus increasing the rinsing effect.
