Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a decontamination system for pipes, accordingly the preamble of the first claim.
The invention can be used wherever radioactively contaminated from the outside Pipes are in place and need to be cleaned, taking the contamination to the extent that the pipes reach the lower release limit below.
Contamination in the present case is adhering to the outside of the pipes radioactive particles that cannot be removed by simply wiping them off to let. Decontamination is carried out to determine the amount of radioactive waste to be disposed of Reduce waste since you can decontaminate the entire Pipelines would have to be disposed of. The previously used Processes include, for example, blasting in a blasting machine which the pipes are first divided into pieces approx to be blasted. Another method is decontamination using Water with the addition of chemical substances to remove the contamination from the pipe surface and binding of the particles to the additives. disadvantage Both processes involve the high level of radioactive secondary waste and the necessary post-treatment of this waste to minimize waste, because the contaminated particles are in the blasting material after cleaning or in the water and must be removed from it. such Processes are complex and expensive.
It is therefore an object of the invention to find ways of contaminating the outside Clean pipes so that the contaminant products after the Cleaning process not removed from a medium such as water or blasting media Need to become.
This task is accomplished by a device according to the features of the first Claim resolved.
Unteransprüche geben vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung wieder.Sub-claims reflect advantageous embodiments of the invention.
The device according to the invention provides a decontamination system for Pipes, which consist of an encapsulation against the radioactive substances and a Device for processing the surface of the contaminated pipe, which is characterized by the fact that a mechanical processing unit, in which a brushing and / or grinding unit with a transport and pressure unit on the entire surface of the contaminated pipe acts and cleans it in a closed housing, on both sides this closed housing arranged a transport device for the tube and leads a dust extraction device into the housing, in which there is also an opening for supply air. The whole complex is surrounded by an enclosure.
The feeding transport device can for example be a rubber band be carried out on the contaminated pipe in the closed housing is promoted.
A roller conveyor has proven to be a favorable laxative transport device, with which the cleaned pipe is transported out of the closed housing becomes.
A pipe can be arranged as a suction device in the closed housing be in which the dust to be extracted to a pre-separator and is then transported to a filter system.
In the following, the device is based on an embodiment and a
