Claims (11)

  1. Tilt-turn hardware for windows, doors or similar items, with a device for locating the casement (12) in a gap ventilation position relative to the fixed frame (10), with a linkage on the casement comprising a driving rod longitudinally displaceable by operating a handle (38) and supporting pegs to control the turn-tilt and closed positions of the linkage components and an astragal guiding the driving rod and covering and retaining it in the casement (12) in groove position, which is provided with slots for relocating the protruding pegs, and with closing surfaces or slots on the frame to be entered by the pegs, wherein the device for locating the casement (12) in a gap ventilation position features a retaining element (37) on the frame with an opening or slot (46) for a peg (36) attached to the driving rod, and wherein the opening or slot (46) incorporates in its reveal latching webs encompassing the peg (36) and inclined guide surfaces (53) terminating therein, which - if viewed in the closed position of the casement (12) - are laterally offset relative to the displacement direction of the peg (36) in accordance with the desired width of the ventilation gap,
    characterised in that
    the opening or slot (46) is located in a longitudinal position of the peg (36) adjoining the 180° switching distance of an edge gear driving the driving rod.
  2. Tilt-turn hardware according to claim 1, characterised in that the edge gear permits the control of the turn, tilt and closed positions within its 180° switching distance.
  3. Tilt-turn hardware according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the gap ventilation position adjoins the closed position.
  4. Tilt-turn hardware according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a position of the handle (38) at 45° to the perpendicular is assigned to the gap ventilation position.
  5. Tilt-turn hardware according to any of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the retaining element (37) is locking plate with a locking slot (44) acting as an opening (46).
  6. Tilt-turn hardware according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the peg (36) is designed as a mushroom peg acting together in a hook-like manner with the opening or slot (46) or the locking slot (44) respectively in the closed and the gap ventilation positions.
  7. Tilt-turn hardware according to any of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the locking slot (44) and the slot (46) are a gate within the retaining element (37) acting as locking plate.
  8. Tilt-turn hardware according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the handling element (49) has an offset (50) oriented in the opposite direction to the direction of the adjusting distance beyond the 180° switching distance.
  9. Window or door with tilt-turn hardware according to any of claims 1 to 8.
  10. Window or door with tilt-turn hardware according to claim 9, characterised in that the retaining element (37) is mounted on the frame leg (57, 58) remote from the tilt-turn axis (16).
  11. Window or door with tilt-turn hardware according to claim 9, characterised in that the retaining element (37) is located on the upper and lower frame legs (22, 56).
