Definitions
- the invention relates to a wiper plate for a cleaning device, in particular for wet and wet wiping, with a substantially level cleaning surface, with first means for attaching a Handle and second means for releasably securing a exchangeable mop cover. Furthermore, the invention relates to a Cleaning device with the wiper plate as such, as well as the use of Wiper plate for a cleaning device.
- Cleaning devices with wiper plates of the generic type are already has long been known and described many times in the patent literature been, so z. B. in DE 44 03 550 C1. They essentially consist of a wiper plate which serves as a support and holder of a replaceable Mop cover serves the mop cover itself and a handle, the articulated or rigidly connected to the wiper plate can be.
- the known mounting options are many, as are numerous Techniques for securing the mop cover or for its design known.
- the wiper plates are usually rectangular or trapezoidal educated.
- Allen wiper plates of the generic type is common, that the area of the wiper plate facing the surface to be cleaned, in for the sake of simplicity called cleaning surface, essentially just trained.
- the reason for this is that the optical Impression of a cleaned area substantially from the equalization the water film is determined during cleaning by the cleaning device. An uneven distribution of the water film leads regularly Formation of streaks on the cleaned soil after drying become visible. These so-called plaster strips are generally considered very distracting.
- An effective measure to this banding to prevent, is the wiping surface of the wiper plate as possible just to shape.
- a disadvantage of the known cleaning devices with wiper plates of generic type is that the dissolution of persistent Contaminants, such as firmly adhering dirt, abrasion of Shoes, dried food rests, etc., is very difficult. Even Increasing the contact pressure on the handle will solve persistent Impurities only after multiple wiping, often still Dirt remains, then with a more suitable cleaning device or have to be removed by hand later.
- the invention is therefore based on the object, a wiper plate of generic type or a cleaning device with such educatinge wiper plate so that the known advantages, such. B. the Avoiding the banding, preserved, but on the other hand that Cleaning ability improved even with stubborn impurities becomes.
- the wiper plate should be as simple and be inexpensive to produce.
- the invention is based on the one the knowledge that one Advantageously, the design options for a wiper plate for the influence on the cleaning functions of a cleaning device exploit, d. H. that here despite the between the wiper plate and the mop cover to be cleaned significant effects achieve, and on the other hand the further realization that the above described deficiencies in the cleaning result are due to that the different cleaning functions, such. B. the release of stubborn dirt, equalization of the water film, etc., completely different, partially mutually exclusive embodiments require the cleaning surface.
- the Equalization of the water film by a level as possible Cleaning surface favors. A flat surface with corresponding However, reduced contact pressure is less for releasing stubborn Impurities suitable.
- lead edges, bristles or such as the mechanical removal of such contaminants favor the banding mentioned above.
- the cleaning surface of Wiper plate in at least two functional surfaces with different Subdivide cleaning functions and provide means by means of which these functional surfaces each without significant mutual negative Impairment of their cleaning functions are used can.
- the first functional surface means for Dissolving persistent impurities and the second Functional surface for equalization of the water film substantially just trained.
- the Overcome disadvantages of the prior art can each of the one or the other functional surface can be used without that it requires an additional cleaning device.
- Particularly preferred is an arrangement in which the first Functional surface immediately in the field of attachment of the handle and the second functional surface surrounds it in all directions. In this way, around the first functional area, even if this is actuated, an equalization on all sides the water film takes place, regardless of the direction of movement of the Cleaning device.
- the first functional area is simply by applying pressure to the Handle operated. Time consuming and expensive operating mechanisms thus avoided. It does not matter in what way the Handle is attached to the wiper plate. All mounting options are conceivable, be it articulated or rigid. Especially in combination with the central arrangement of the first functional surface is the design effort low and the operation very easy. For solving persistent Dirt will easily over the handle pressure on the first Functional surface exercised. This gets stronger to the ground pressed, which improves their cleaning ability even more. The laterally adjacent surfaces of the second functional surface occur due to the flexibility of the wiper plate and the height distance between the first and second functional surface in their effect. Is the stubborn pollution is removed, simply the pressure withdrawn and the cleaning function of the second functional area outweighs again.
- the two functional surfaces can both be integrally connected to each other and formed as separate sections of the wiper plate are.
- a portion carrying the first functional surface in a corresponding recess in the wiper plate with the second Function surface can be used.
- the section with the first Function surface are firmly connected to the wiper plate.
- an elastic connection may be provided, wherein the handle firmly with the part carrying the first functional surface is connected.
- the wiper plate according to the invention is usually made of plastic, in particular from mass plastics such as: polypropylene.
- the Cleaning function as well as the handling are advantageously still supported, if you have the first functional area bearing section the wiper plate made of a very hard material, for example a glass fiber reinforced polyamide, and that the second functional surface carrying section of a softer material, such as Polyethylene or a thermoplastic elastomer.
- Such structuring can be particularly simple and produce cost, for example by injection molding or pressing.
- Structuring for example, ribs, elastic bristles or Combinations of these include.
- the ribs can vary depending on Request a semicircular, rectangular, trapezoidal or have triangular cross-section.
- the ribs can be arranged parallel to the longer side of the wiper plate be, d. H. essentially perpendicular to the wiping direction. To be favoured however structures that are largely independent of the direction of movement the wiper plate provide a good cleaning result. This can be in easy way to achieve that the ribs at an angle, in particular at an angle of about 45 °, to the side edges of Wiper plate are arranged. For example, arrow-shaped ones are conceivable here or tooth-like structures. The structures can be both symmetric as also be asymmetric.
- scrubbing becomes structuring in one preferred embodiment of the invention designed so that the Ratio of the total over all through the structuring of the functional area formed raised areas to the total area of the wiper plate between about 1:10 and 1: 100, more preferably about 1: 50.
- One Ratio of 1: 50 corresponds approximately to the ratio of the sum of Cross-sectional areas of all bristles to the total cleaning surface of a classic scrubber, d. H. upon actuation of the structured Functional surface will be approximately the same contact pressure on the to be cleaned Area achieved when using a scrubber.
- a cleaning device with a wiper plate in this embodiment thus combines in an advantageous way the essential Cleaning functions of the classic cleaning equipment wipe and Scrubber, but is much easier and more comfortable to use.
- the structuring of the functional surface by the mop cover shows the best effect, the relationship between the Structure height and thickness of the mop cover approximately between 1: 0.5 and 1: 3, preferably about 1: 2.
- the wiper plate according to the invention can be used in many different ways Cleaning devices are used, such as ground or Window cleaning equipment.
- the invention can in principle in all Cleaning equipment essential for the cleaning of substantially flat Surfaces are provided apply.
- the invention not at all on the exemplified combination of the two Cleaning functions "scrubbing" and “uniform” limited. It can have any and in particular more than two cleaning functions be provided. Their selection is usually on the type of Depending on the cleaning device whose local arrangement on the Cleaning surface of the wiper plate u. a. from the chosen one Actuating mechanism.
- FIG. 1 an inventive cleaning device 1 with a Wiper plate 2 and a handle 3, by means of Fastening device 4 mounted on the top of the wiper plate 2 is.
- the handle 3 is without in the illustrated embodiment Limiting the generality hingedly connected to the wiper plate 2.
- the invention is also on cleaning equipment with a rigid Connection with their handle applicable.
- Attachment 6 On one of the two sides of the rectangular wiper plate 2, the mop cover 5 is shown. Of the Mop cover 5 is on both sides of the top of the wiper plate 2 means Attachment 6 attached. These can, for example, on Mop pockets sewn on, hook Velcro, snaps or special fasteners that look similar in their effect snaps are, be.
- the mop cover 5 covers the cleaning surface 7 of Wiper plate 2 completely.
- the function area 8.1 is used to release persistent Impurities. It has for this purpose ribs 8.2, located in the illustrated embodiment without limitation of generality parallel to the longer edge of the rectangular wiper plate 2, i. perpendicular to the main direction of movement of the cleaning device, extend.
- the ribs 8.2 have, as can be seen in particular in Figure 3, by way of example a triangular cross-section. Depending on the application, others can Geometries be advantageous.
- To the middle piece 8 of the wiper plate 2 with the Functional surface 8.1 close on both sides of the two sections 9 with the the second functional area 9.1. This is just trained and serves the Equalization of the water film.
- the middle piece 8 and the sections 9 are firmly connected to each other in the illustrated embodiment.
- FIG. 4 shows a further preferred embodiment of the invention shown. It can be seen that the first functional area 8.1 with the ribs 8.2 is embedded centrally in the second functional area 9.1. She is after all Surround sides of sections of the second functional area 9.1. This has the advantage that regardless of the direction of movement after all Side equalization of the water film is effected, even at Actuation of functional area 8.1. The handling of the cleaning device This makes it easier because you do not choose the direction of movement must pay attention to a possible banding.
