- a member 13 is mounted movable in translation in the housing along an axis X1 to actuate the switch assembly 12 in response to the displacement of a lever 30 rotatably mounted on the head 20 about an axis X2 perpendicular to X1.
- the wiring connection 11 is removably and interchangeably arranged in a corner of the lower part 10b of the housing, to allow various types of connection and various orientations of the cable 11a.
- the operating head 20 has the general shape of L, of which one branch 20X2, of axis X2, houses a rotating part 21 with cam 22 (see FIG. 3) and whose other branch 20X1, of axis X1 perpendicular to X2, has a pusher 23 urged in the downward direction by the cam 22 of the part 21 and in the upward direction by a return spring 24.
- the branch 20X1 of the actuating head 20 tapers to a tubular bearing 25 which is housed in a recess 14 (see Figure 4) opening onto a substantially planar face 10c located at the upper part 10a of the housing.
- the bearing surface 25 has an annular groove 26 and a seal 27 which ensures the sealed mounting of the head in the recess 14. It also has an annular abutment shoulder 25a which bears on the upper face 10c of the housing. face being flat or slightly curved.
- the bearing of the shoulder is made on the edge of the recess 14.
- the annular groove 26 cooperates a fork 15 which constitutes a key prohibiting the extraction of the head in the direction X1.
- the fork 15 is inserted in a front direction F in a slot 16 provided at the front of the housing (see Figure 6).
- the fork is shown in FIG. 1 in a locking position of the head 20 and in FIG. 2 in a position allowing the head to be released (which can then be extracted along X1). It is depressed according to the arrow F to move from its release position to its blocking position.

Description
The present invention relates to a switch, in particular a position switch, comprising a housing in which are housed a member displaceable in translation and an electric switch assembly operable by this member, while a control head is mounted removably and angularly variable in a recess of the housing which opens onto a mounting surface of the housing, the operating head having a tubular surface which houses a pusher actuated directly or indirectly by an object and able to slide along the axis of translation to cooperate with the body displaceable.
It is often desirable to be able to adjust the position of the operating head of such a switch. Such adjustment may indeed be required if it is desired to mount the switch in a predetermined position, while accepting actuations by moving objects in various paths.
The object of the invention is to provide, in a very simple and space-saving manner, a great flexibility of use to a switch, in particular of position or safety, by a positive angular adjustment of the operating head.
Selon l'invention,
- the recess of the housing has on its periphery internal notches cooperating with the notches of the head and likewise not these or not multiple,
- the external notches and the internal notches engage each other along the axis of translation of the displaceable member.
The tubular bearing may advantageously have an abutment shoulder applicable to the mounting face, the external notches of the tubular bearing being provided below the shoulder and radially recessed relative thereto. The internal notches of the recess may be formed by a toothed crown that has just been molded and located at the outlet of the recess, or attached to the recess.
A fork for axially fixing the head and confirming the engagement of the notches may be engaged in a slot of the housing to cooperate with an annular groove of the tubular bearing of the head. The fork can be retained in the fixing position by holding means, in particular a lock. Marks provided on the branch of the actuating head which is directed along the axis of translation and on the upper mounting face at the edge of the recess make it easy to visualize the angular position of the head.
The invention also relates to a pivoting lever position switch offering the faculty of a double angular adjustment of the head relative to the housing, and a lever pivoting maneuver relative to the head; this by means of an L-shaped head whose two branches have notches provided regular pitch, the head being mounted by its first branch in respective notches provided at regular intervals on the periphery of the recess, the lever being mounted on the second branch of the head and having respective notches provided at regular pitch.

It should be observed that the
With the
In its locking position, the
The
In the variant embodiment of FIG. 4, the head of the position switch does not comprise a lever, but only a
