Description

Domaine technique de l'inventionTechnical field of the invention

The present invention relates to an emergency stop device with a particularly compact architecture.

Etat de la techniqueState of the art

Today, a known emergency stop device as described for example in the document US7790996 comprises a control button movable in translation between two positions along a control axis and capable of actuating a pusher cooperating with an electrical contact unit. To unlock such emergency stop devices, the control knob is rotated. To be easily manipulated, the button must have a shape that allows it to be easily gripped relative to the rest of the device. It therefore often takes a particularly prominent shape, which increases its size in depth.

The document EP2267743 discloses an electrical switch comprising an actuator formed of a rotating ring movable between a rest position and an actuated position in which it is held in place, a cam intended to be rotated by the rotary ring to act on a microswitch controlling an electrical circuit, and a safety button operable by axial pressure to unhook the rotary ring to bring it back to its rest position and thus open the electrical circuit. In this architecture, the button does not remain hooked in its actuated position and it is therefore not necessary to unlock after actuation.

Description détaillée d'au moins un mode de réalisationDetailed description of at least one embodiment

In known manner, an emergency stop device is intended for the control of an electrical circuit and can be actuated by an operator to open the electrical circuit in case of emergency.

L'architecture commune se compose d'un ensemble de commande 1 destiné à être fixé sur le boîtier 2A, 2B et comportant un corps 10.The emergency stop device of the invention can take two distinct configurations depending on whether it is mounted on a wall P ( figure 1 ) or recessed into the wall ( figure 2 ). For both configurations, it comprises a common architecture which is assembled either on a housing 2A projecting on the wall P or on a housing 2B recessed into the wall P (not visible on the figure 2 ). The common architecture consists of a control unit 1 intended to be fixed on the housing 2A, 2B and comprising a body 10.

The body 10 is for example circular in shape and has a central opening. The body also has a cylindrical collar 100 formed at the periphery of the central opening, an internal cylindrical sleeve 101 and a bowl 102 defined between the collar 100 and the sleeve 101.

The control unit 1 of the emergency stop device also comprises a movable control button 11 adapted to move along a control axis (X) and a helical type return spring R1 housed in the bowl 102 and urged along the control axis (X) by the control knob 11 against the body 10. The control knob 11 is initially in a rest position ( Figures 4A and 4B ) in which the controlled electric circuit is closed. By pressing inside the device, the control knob 11 can be brought into an actuated position ( Figures 5A and 5B ) in which it abuts against the body, then allowing to open positively the electric circuit. After actuation, the control knob 11 is released but then remains hooked in an actuated position ( Figures 6A and 6B ) in which the electric circuit remains open. The electrical circuit remains open until the device is unlocked.

The control assembly 1 of the emergency stop device of the invention comprises an actuating member 12 hooked to the control button 11 by means of fixing members made on the control button 11. The actuating member 12 comprises an axial central bore and a flange 122 located at the periphery of said bore defining a seat intended to receive an opening spring R2 bearing on the one hand against the actuating member 12 and on the other hand against the control button 11. The actuating member 12 is biased in translation along the control axis by the opening spring R2 against the fastening members of the control knob 11. The control knob 11 and the actuating member 12 are free in translation towards one another by compression of the opening spring R2. When the control knob 11 is in the rest position, the actuating member 12 is in a rest position ( Figures 4A and 4B ). When pressure is exerted on the control knob 11 towards its actuated position, the actuating member 12 remains first in the rest position ( Figures 5A and 5B ), which causes compression of the opening spring R2 to store energy. When the opening spring R2 is sufficiently compressed, the organ actuator 12 is released suddenly, driven by the energy stored by the opening spring R2. The actuating member 12 is then in the actuated position ( Figures 6A and 6B ). After actuation, the actuating member 12 remains hooked in the actuated position and maintains, via the fasteners, the control knob 11 in the inwardly actuated position of the body 10. If the control button is released , it remains in the actuated position. Unlocking is then necessary to return the control knob and the actuating member to their rest position ( Figures 7A and 7B ).

The control unit 1 of the emergency stop device also comprises a trigger member 120 and an attachment member 121, for example each composed of a finger that is housed in a radial housing made on the body of the device. Actuation 12. Each of these two members is mounted on a helical spring R3, R4 so as to be able to move radially with respect to the control axis (X). The trigger member 120 and the attachment member 121 are positioned to cooperate each with the body 10 according to the position of the control button 11. The trigger member 120 and the attachment member 121 are susceptible to move in two distinct parallel planes, perpendicular to the control axis (X). The plane of translation of the trigger member 120 is located above the plane of translation of the attachment member 121. On the inner surface of its central opening, the body 10 has cam shapes intended to be followed. by the trigger member 120 and the attachment member 121, allowing each of these organs to perform their function. The trigger member 120 cooperates with the body 10 to maintain the actuating member 12 in the rest position until sufficient energy is stored in the opening spring R2. When the control knob is sufficiently depressed, under the action of a cam formed on the body 10, the trigger member 120 is retracted into its housing to release the actuating member 12 under the action of the opening spring R2. The actuating member 12 then also maintains the control knob 11 in the actuated position towards the inside of the body 10. The attachment member 121 cooperates with an abutment made on the body 10 to allow the organ to be hooked actuating device 12 to the body when the control knob 11 is depressed into its actuated position and thus to maintain the actuating member 12 and the control knob 11 in their actuated position.

The control assembly 1 of the device comprises at least one electrical contact unit 13, generally two electrical contact units to ensure redundancy during actuation of the device. Each electrical contact unit 13 has a set of normally closed electrical contacts (NC contacts for "Normally Closed"). The two electrical contact units 13 are for example assembled on a printed circuit 14, for example of annular shape fixed on the body 10. Each contact unit 13 comprises for example a pusher 130 integral with a movable contact bridge intended to be actuated by the actuating member 12. For this, the actuating member 12 is provided with two tabs 123 extending outwardly in opposite radial directions. Each tab 123 is arranged to be able to press a pusher 130 of a separate contact unit 13 when the actuating member 12 is driven by the opening spring R2 to its actuated position. In an alternative embodiment, the contact unit may comprise a movable contact bridge radially actuated with respect to the control axis. This variant embodiment would in particular make it possible to gain even more compactness.

The control assembly 1 of the emergency stop device comprises an unlocking ring 15 separate from the control button, fixed on the body 10 and movable in rotation relative thereto. The unlocking ring 15 is arranged at the periphery of the control knob 11 and cooperates in rotation with the control knob 11 to unlock it. Rotating guiding means 150 are formed on the unlocking ring 15 and cooperating with pins 102 made on the body 10. During rotation of the unlocking ring 15, the latter rotates the control knob 11 which rotates the actuating member 12. The rotation of the actuating member 12 releases the latching member 121 from the abutment made on the body 10 and allows, under the action of the return spring R1, to bring back the control knob 11, and therefore the actuating member 12, in their rest position. The use of an unlocking ring 15 separate from the control button 11 makes it possible to propose a device having a particularly compact architecture.

The emergency stop device comprises a light assembly completely integrated into the device, assembled on the printed circuit 14 and intended to provide a light signaling function of the emergency stop device. This light assembly comprises a plurality of light-emitting diodes 16 connected to power supply units 17 soldered to the printed circuit 14. The light assembly is example controlled to turn green or red emergency stop device according to the state of operation of the latter. Light guides may be provided through the body 10 and the unlocking ring for passing light from the light assembly and a transparent crown 18 allowing light to pass out of the diodes may be provided between the unlocking ring 15 and the body 10 of the device.

This guide device consists of a rod 20, for example metal, having a first end fixed on the bottom of the housing 2A, 2B and extended, along the control axis (X), through the printed circuit 14, the central drilling of the actuating member 12, the opening spring R2 and a second end being housed in a housing formed in the control knob 11.
