Definitions
- the invention relates to a terminal block according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a generic terminal block is from the DE-A-37 108 96 known.
- Such terminal blocks and terminal devices allow the contacting of the conductors in the so-called IDC technique, in which cutting the terminal device sever the insulation of the conductor, whereupon contacting the Leiutungsadern takes place in a contacting area.
- IDC IDC-to-dielectric
- Another terminal block with IDC contacts is from the DE 197 32 182 C1 known.
- the invention solves this problem with regard to the terminal block by the subject of claim 1.
- a particular advantage of the invention is the fact that the cross-connector is configured by the design of the cutting rail at one end of the cutting terminal and at the other end thereof integrally connected in a structurally simple manner.
- the cross connector is inexpensive and reliable in the manner of EP 0 634 813 B1 educated.
- the insulating material is provided in the region of its front and back with recesses, wherein the plug tab protrudes from the Isolierstoffgeophuse from a recess and wherein the lying on the opposite side of the insulating housing recess for insertion of the connector tab is designed in the socket contact ,
- a separate housing for the cross connectors like this one EP 0 634 813 B1 suggests that after the cross-connector each have separate housing and are first put together to strips, which are then used as a unit in the terminal housing, can be omitted in this way.
- a plug-in protection for the connector tab is formed on the insulating material in the rail direction or perpendicular to the main extension plane of the terminal block, which effectively protects against damage caused by incorrect insertion of the operating tool - typically a screwdriver.
- the cutting rail is expediently provided with further functional areas integrated in it.
- the connecting plate an integrally formed in angled tab formed, which has an eye.
- a soldering pin or a socket or plug contact can be molded onto the connecting plate.
- Fig. 1 shows an initiator / actuators terminal 2 - here an initiators / Aktoren-Reihenklemme- with a one-piece insulating housing 4 made of plastic, which in its in Fig. 1 Lower portion locking feet 6, 8 for snapping the terminal on a mounting rail T and in its upper part here four connection devices 10, 12 for contacting electrical conductors.
- the two in Fig. 1 right terminal devices 10 are connected directly via a busbar 14 conductive each other.
- connection devices 12 have transverse connectors 16 for contacting the corresponding connection devices 12 'of adjacent terminal blocks.
- connection devices 10, 12 are each implemented in so-called IDC technology.
- FIG. 1 Each include the in Fig. 1 upper, slotted ends formed as a cutting rail 40 busbar - see Fig. 4 -
- the two legs 18a, b of the contact spring 18 are slightly angled to each other (see Fig. 3 )
- the contact springs 18 are bordered in the contacting region 24 by a cross-sectionally substantially U-shaped force spring 26.
- the force spring 26 has according to the teaching of DE 197 32 182 C1 substantially flat spring leg 28, wherein the substantially flat spring legs 28 extend substantially perpendicular to the contact blade 20 and the contacting region 24 and embrace them along the contacting region 24. Lateral recesses 29 in the spring legs 28 allow a lateral passage of the conductor insulation of the conductor to be contacted, which contributes decisively to a narrow relative to the conductor diameter design of the terminal block
- the loading and final switching of the connecting devices 10, 12 is carried out in each case by means of a in the insulating housing with pin 31 in grooves / slots 33 slidably guided Kunststoffbetusists Swisses 30.
- the Kunststoffbetusists Swisse 30 are each used in the initial assembly from above into openings 32 of the preferably integrally formed insulating housing 4 and there guided substantially parallel to the contact springs 18 slidably.
- the conductor insulation is severed by the contact blades 20 and widened during further insertion of the conductor into the slot 22 until the conductor wire (s) of the conductor contact the contacting regions 24 of the connection devices 10, 12.
- the force spring 26 is provided on its side facing the contact blade 20 side in the region of the lower rail relative to the support rail with a projection 36 which engages under an abutment 38 in the insulating housing.
- the cutting rail 40 has in the side view of Fig. 1 a kind of U-shape, wherein on one longitudinal leg of the U, the contact spring 18 and at the other end of the U is a cross-connector 16 in the form of a plug-in contact element 42 is formed.
- the plug contact element 42 per se is the nature of the plug contact element of the European patent EP 0 634 813 B1 formed and integrally formed on the side facing away from the contact spring 18 end of the cutting rail 40.
- the plug contact element 42 comprises a plug tab 44 and a socket contact 46, which are aligned at right angles to the main extension plane of the terminal block or parallel to the mounting rail direction.
- the connector tab 44 is formed for engagement in the socket contact 44 of the next row to be adorned on the mounting rail T, so that forms in the rail direction, over a plurality of terminal blocks away extending cross-connection.
- U-shaped interconnected spring contact leg 48, 50 form on one side of the connecting plate 52 at its free ends the socket contact 46.
- the connector tab 44 is disposed at the free end of one of the spring contact leg 48 of the cutting rail 40 as an extension of this leg 48 parallel to its end edge, wherein the connector tab 42 is bent in the direction of the opposite spring contact leg 48 so that its center plane with the center between the two Spring contact legs 48, 50 located center plane coincides.
- the insulating material in the region of its front and back is provided with recesses 54, 56. From one recess 54, the connector tab 44 protrudes from the insulating material 4. The lying on the opposite side of the insulating housing 4 recess 56, however, allows the insertion of the connector tab 42 through the wall of the insulating housing 4 in the socket contact 44th
- An integrally formed on the insulating housing 4 in DIN rail direction or perpendicular to the main extension plane of the terminal block plug-in protection 58 at the top of the connector tab protects it against damage during handling of the operating tool for loading and unloading the terminal.
- a further recess 60 on the plug-in protection 58 opposite side of the terminal housing Behind the connector tab is a pin Z for aligning and mating a juxtaposed on the mounting rail T terminal group visible.
- Fig. 6 illustrates the simple way to produce the cutting rail 40 as a material-saving blank of a metal strip, which after its punching out of the sheet metal strip by simple bending operations in the shape of Fig. 5 can be bent.
- Fig. 7 is instead of a tab here down a solder pin 66 formed on the connecting plate, so that a touchdown or soldering to a circuit board can be realized (not shown here).
- Fig. 8 is instead of a tab down here a female contact 68 integrally formed on the connecting plate, which is designed to receive a corresponding plug contact to z. B. a device or the like. To connect to the terminal device.
- the plug-in contact element 42 is aligned vertically downwards in the terminal housing 4, ie, the cutting rail here is not a kind U-but a kind of L-shape and the plug contact element 42 forms the one end of the longitudinal leg of the L.
- a busbar 70 is inserted, which is connected to a contact foot 72 for contacting the support rail T, so that in a straightforward manner, a conductive connection of the support rail T to the connection device 10 is provided.
