Description

"Dispositif blanchet à deux blanchets juxtaposés"
L'invention concerne un dispositif blanchet notamment pour une machine d'impression du type à deux blanchets montés côte à côte sur un cylindre d ' impression.
Dans ces machines, les blanchets sont fixés à leurs deux extrémités dans des gorges pratiquées dans la face périphérique des cylindres. Dans beaucoup de machines, les gorges sont décalées de 180° ou de 90° de façon à minimiser les battements créés par le passage des gorges.
Les machines de ce type présentent 1 ' avantage d'être d'une construction simple et de permettre un coût de fabrication des presses moins élevé que celui des presses du type "satellite". Elles ont cependant le grand inconvénient que le papier n'est pas soutenu de façon continue comme sur le contre cylindre d'une presse satellite. Il peut en résulter un pli longitudinal du papier qui peut provoquer la casse de celui-ci ou provoquer des difficultés au pliage du papier et ceci d'autant plus si plusieurs bandes de papier vont dans la même plieuse.
La présente invention a pour but de proposer un dispositif blanchet qui pallie les inconvénients qui viennent d'être énoncés.
Pour atteindre ce but, un dispositif blanchet selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens de support du papier à imprimer dans la zone de jonction des deux blanchets juxtaposés. Selon une des caractéristiques de l'invention, les extrémités latérales adjacentes des deux blanchets sont découpées selon une ligne qui n'est pas parallèle au sens de défilement du papier.
L'invention sera mieux comprise, et d'autres buts, caractéristiques, détails et avantages de celle-ci apparaîtront plus clairement au cours de la description explicative qui va suivre faite en référence aux dessins schématiques annexés donnés uniquement à titre d'exemple, illustrant plusieurs modes de réalisation de l'invention, et dans lesquels :
- La figure 1 est une vue de dessus schématique d'un dispositif blanchet selon la présente invention, et
Les figures 2 et 5 sont des vues en plan et développées d'autres modes de réalisation d'un dispositif blanchet selon l'invention.
Sur la figure 1, les numéros de référence 1, 2 et 3 désignent respectivement une bande de papier à imprimer et deux blanchets axialement juxtaposés d'une machine à imprimer par exemple double laize, de configuration d'impression blanchet / blanchet et à tour huit encrages.
Les deux blanchets 2, 3 sont montés côte à côte sur un cylindre d'impression non représenté. Les deux extrémités de chaque blanchet sont fixées dans une gorge pratiquée dans la surface périphérique extérieure du cylindre d'impression, de façon connue en soi. Les gorges portent la référence 4. Les deux gorges 4 de fixation des deux blanchets 2, 3 sont angulairement décalées de 180 ou 90°, de façon à minimiser les battements créés par le passage des gorges.
Conformément à l'invention, pour éviter que la bande de papier à imprimer 1 ne soit pas soutenue au niveau de la zone de jonction des deux blanchets juxtaposés 2, 3, les extrémités latérales adjacentes 6, 7 des deux blanchets sont découpées selon une ligne qui ne soit pas parallèle au sens du défilement du papier, indiqué par la flèche F. Cette forme des extrémités latérales des blanchets peut être obtenue de diverses manières dont certaines sont représentées .
Ainsi les figures 2 et 3 montrent des formes trapézoïdales ou en double trapèze des extrémités adjacentes des blanchets. Sur la figure 4 la ligne de découpe est brisée tandis que la figure 5 montre une ligne de découpe ondulée. Tous les modes de réalisation des découpes des extrémités adjacentes des blanchets 2, 3 ont en commun que la zone de jonction indiquée en 8, dans laquelle le papier 1 n'est pas supporté par les blanchets 2, 3 est relativement faible par rapport au pourtour des blanchets .
La découpe des blanchets peut être réalisée facilement au moyen d'une table de découpe pilotée par ordinateur. La table de découpe assure une parfaite parallélité des découpes des deux bords adjacents des deux blanchets.
Bien entendu, la découpe des deux blanchets va tenir compte du décalage angulaire des gorges des blanchets, les bords devant s'assembler de façon à constituer un espace constant entre les deux blanchets montés sur le même cylindre.
A titre d'exemple, dans le mode de réalisation en double trapèze selon la figure 3,1a différence de largeur des deux côtés du trapèze pourraient être comprises entre 1 et 40mm et de préférence être de l'ordre de 7mm.
Il est à noter que l'invention est particulièrement et avantageusement applicable aux machines d'impression Journal en configuration blanchet contre blanchet.
Il est en outre à noter que, pour améliorer encore l'effet de support du papier à imprimer au niveau de la jonction des deux blanchets, les gorges d'ancrage des blanchets, pratiquées dans le cylindre pourraient ne pas s'étendre jusqu'à l'extrémité découpée du blanchet, c'est-à-dire, de façon générale, être plus courtes que sur la figure 1.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1. Dispositif blanchet notamment pour machine d'impression du type à deux blanchets montés côte à côte sur un cylindre d'impression, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens de support du papier (1) à imprimer dans la zone de jonction des deux blanchets juxtaposés (2, 3) .
2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les extrémités latérales adjacentes (6, 7) des deux blanchets (2, 3) sont découpées selon une ligne qui n'est pas parallèle au sens du défilement du papier et en ce que les extrémités découpées des deux blanchets sont parallèles l'une à l'autre.
3. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la ligne de découpe présente une forme trapézoïdale ou en double trapèze.
4. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la ligne de découpe est brisée.
5. Dispositif selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que la ligne de découpe est ondulée.
6. Cylindre d'impression pour machine d'impression du type à deux blanchets montés côte à côte, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte un dispositif blanchet selon l'une des revendications 1 à 5.
7. Cylindre d'impression selon la revendication 6, comportant de gorges de fixation des blanchets sur la surface périphérique du cylindre, caractérisé en ce que les gorges (4) ne s'étendent pas jusqu'à la jonction des deux blanchets (2, 3) axialement juxtaposés.
