Definitions
- the invention relates to a control valve, in particular in the form of a Diverter valve to remove one on one side of the control valve resulting overpressure, as described in claim 1.
- the inlet and Outlet side of the valve often sealing devices made of elastic material used.
- the elastic material can be made of a membrane, for example consist.
- the elastic sealing element lies in the closed state sealing on a valve seat and is designed so that it to open the Valve can be moved away from the valve seat. For example, if one on the Existing overpressure through the valve to the inlet side of the valve The outlet side of the valve must be discharged, the membrane must move away from the valve seat move away, causing a flow between the valve seat and diaphragm comes.
- the control valve has a valve insert, which over a first Stretch the opening movement of the valve the immediate start of itself preventing flow, but at least only one flow in one such small shape allows a "kick back" of the elastic Sealing element to the valve seat can be prevented.
- This is the Valve insert - as well as the elastic sealing element - as on the valve seat formed at least partially acting additional sealing device.
- the elastic sealing element can initially move away, that is, in be brought into an open state without immediately resulting in a strong flow in the area of the valve seat.
- the valve insert that with is connected to the elastic sealing element can preferably so be designed so that an adjustment of a flow is even complete is prevented.
- the sealing Effect of the valve insert allows a initially lower flow
- the Vacuum conditions are such that the elastic sealing device, even if it is only moved a little away from the valve seat, never open this can be withdrawn by the vacuum.
- the materials used must be elastic Sealing element only over a short or a correspondingly longer stroke be moved away before a full flow, i.e. the real one
- the control valve is opened.
- shoots itself at the first one which acts as an additional sealing device Section of the valve insert a section that defines the flow path or cross-section releases and as a guide of the valve seat or the Sealing device is used. This ensures that the area between the elastic sealing element and the valve seat after release of the flow path setting negative pressure it can no longer cause that the elastic sealing element in any position spaced from the valve seat can be withdrawn again.
- a valve with two is created different functions for regulating a flow, namely a Gate valve combined with a diaphragm valve.
- the one is the additional one Sealing device forming first section of the valve insert with a, itself edge region extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the valve insert educated.
- the edge area which in turn, among other things. depending on Sizes and pressure ratios, over a shorter or longer range can extend, is either on the valve seat to a self-adjusting To prevent flow completely at first, or to be slightly distant from it, to allow a flow at least only to a small extent.
- valve insert can expediently have a circular cross section be what regarding the desired sealing effect between the valve insert and the valve seat is an advantage. Allowing a low flow can for example by an annular gap between the valve seat and Marginal area are made possible.
- the first section of the Valve insert as a hollow cylindrical annulus, what with regard to production and elasticity in the area of the first section and is advantageous in terms of material savings.
- the Extension in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the valve insert is less than that of the first section.
- This further circular ring can preferably be used as Support for an area of the elastic connected to the valve insert Sealing element serve and in particular increases the stability of the Valve insert.
- the second section of the valve insert as extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the valve insert, spaced webs or arms formed.
- Such Confirguration of the second section serves once the valve insert continue to be used as a guide element for the sealing device and on the other hand to enable the flow cross-section, at least partially to release. For reasons of stability, three or more bridges available.
- the distance between the webs is advantageous in their Seen longitudinal axis direction, different, preferably in the area of First section less than in the area towards the free ends of the webs.
- a first area in which the valve insert is moved so far that a flow between the webs can adjust itself in this way be that at the beginning a lower flow because of the reduced Flow cross-section sets as in the further opening course, i.e. at the move the valve insert further away, because in this area the distances become larger between the webs and thus allow a larger flow.
- the webs are expediently preferably at their free ends extending in the direction of the valve seat and abutting it Cantilevers.
- the contact surface between the valve insert and the corresponding area of the valve seat is thus reduced, which the reducing friction between the webs and the valve seat.
- the free ends of the webs can have a circular ring adjacent to the valve seat must be connected to each other for stability the webs are raised and the guidance of the valve insert in the valve seat improved.
- the material of the first section of the valve insert can advantageously be made of another material, preferably an elastic material than the material of the second section. This can be especially true of Be an advantage if a complete or very high sealing effect between the Valve insert and the valve seat is desired. But it can also be complete are sufficient, the entire valve set made of the same material, for example Plastic.
- valve insert described above with its corresponding Refinements are preferably used in a control valve, especially a shut-off or diverter valve.
- the preferred embodiment according to FIG. 1 is a Diverter valve, which is installed, for example, in the turbocharger air circuit can be.
- the control valve is on the pressure side, i.e. between arranged the exhaust gas turbocharger and the throttle valve and creates a Connection to the unpressurized side in front of the exhaust gas turbocharger.
- the shown Diverter valve has the task of the pressure behind the Turbocharger builds up to the throttle valve in the event of overrun, i.e. at Reduction of the engine speed, as is the case, for example, when disengaging is to dismantle.
- the diverter valve opens and directs it Overpressure between the turbocharger and throttle valve in the before Turbocharger arranged clean air duct back, creating a short-term Pressure equalization between the side in front of the turbocharger and behind the turbocharger arises.
- the intended use of such a diverter valve described above is basically known. 1 is now the inventive preferred embodiment of such a diverter valve as an example to be discribed.
- the control valve serving as a diverter valve an inlet port 2 and an outlet port 4.
- a sealing device is arranged, the one in itself known structure.
- the sealing device consists of a elastic sealing element in the form of a membrane 6, which on a Membrane sensor 8 is arranged.
- the membrane 6 has a sealing edge 10 on the valve seat 12 in the closed position of the valve rests.
- the valve seat 12 is a continuation of the outlet port 4 formed and has a circular cross section. As a result, too the sealing edge 10 of the membrane 6 is formed in a circular ring.
- the membrane 6 Above the Membrane 6 and thus facing away from the outlet port 4, the membrane 6 is with a coil spring 14 is applied, the coil spring 14 with the one end rests on the diaphragm sensor 8 and the other end in a valve housing cover 16. The force of the coil spring 14 presses the Membrane 6 over the membrane receiver 8 with its sealing edge 10 on the Valve seat 12.
- a nozzle 18 To control the opening movement of the sealing device In the housing cover, a nozzle 18 is arranged, to which a vacuum source can be connected. As soon as a negative pressure in that of the membrane and the area enclosed by the housing cover, the Sealing device and thus the membrane 6 against the force of Coil spring 14 can be moved away from valve seat 12 to make a passage to allow between the inlet port 2 and the outlet port 4.
- a valve insert 20 is provided for guiding the sealing device itself in the tubular connection piece 22 of the outlet piece 4 trained valve seat 12 is supported on its inner wall in some areas.
- the Valve insert 20 is with the membrane 6 and the membrane receiver 8 via a Rivets 24 connected.
- the rivet 24 is in the area between one end and the diaphragm sensor 8, a valve disk 26 in the diaphragm sensor 8 arranged and at the other free end of the rivet 24 is a Additional weight 28 formed part, which in the inner region of the Valve insert 20 is mounted.
- the Valve plate 26, the membrane receiver 8, the membrane 6 and also the Valve insert 20 has a corresponding recess.
- the valve insert 20 consists of a first, facing the membrane 6 Section in the form of a ring-shaped edge region 30 which with its outer circumference can abut the inner circumference of the connecting piece 22 or is slightly spaced from this - forming an annular gap.
- the edge region 30 is designed so that it does not only if the membrane 6 is on the valve seat 12, sealing or partially sealed on the inside of the neck 22, but even if the membrane 6 or the sealing edge 10 of the membrane 6 has moved away from the valve seat 12 against the force of the coil spring 14. First after the sealing edge 10 has moved a certain distance from the valve seat 12 has removed, the outer circumference of the edge region 30 also occurs Valve insert 20 out of the inner wall of the neck 22 and there thus the space that arises between the arms 34 as Flow cross section free.
- valve insert 20 prevents it from occurring immediately after moving the sealing edge 10 away from the valve seat 12, a flow adjusts the resulting vacuum conditions between the valve seat 12 and the sealing edge 10 of the membrane 6 kick back of the sealing edge 10 of the membrane 6 could cause on the valve seat. As a result, unwanted noises are created by kicking back the Sealing edge 10 of the membrane 6 in the initial opening state of the Control valve prevented.
- Fig. 2 shows a special embodiment of the valve insert 20, which in this case has four arms 34, which are also at their free ends Overhangs 36, as described in Fig. 1, are provided.
- the edge area 30, which forms the first section of the valve insert 20, directly adjoins the the free arms 34 forming the second section.
- Fig. 1 is described in the interior of the sealing edge 30 as a circular ring 32 trained section arranged in the middle of an opening for passage the rivet 24 or part of the weight 28.
- the second Section of the valve insert 20 forming arms 34 are in cross section narrower than the cross section or the ring circle thickness of the as hollow Ring circular cylinder trained and generating the additional seal Edge area 30. The distances between the individual arms 34 are in the The embodiment shown in Fig.
- FIG. 3a and 3b show a further preferred embodiment of the Valve insert 20, only three arms 34 in this exemplary embodiment are present, which also have no overhangs, but in the area their free ends together via an uninterrupted circular ring 38 are connected. While the in Figs. 1 and 2 arms 34 only with their cantilevers 36 rest against the inside of the connecting piece 22 the arms in Figs. 3a and 3b formed so that they are in line with the Edge area 30 are located, which also applies to the outer edge area of the annulus 38 applies. The outer surfaces of the edge region 30, the arms 34, thus stand and the circular ring 34 in contact with the inner circumference of the connecting piece 22nd and thus serve as a guide.
