Definitions
- the invention relates to a hearing aid worn behind the ear with a hearing aid housing and a microphone arranged in the hearing aid housing with a microphone housing.
- microphones play a decisive role in modern hearing aids, since with directional microphone arrays often several individual microphones have to be integrated into the hearing aids.
- the position of the microphones is often predetermined for acoustic reasons, so that the limits of miniaturization are quickly reached by the arrangement of the microphones and the design of the hearing aids is given.
- Known microphones provide a microphone body, which is connected to a nozzle-shaped microphone inlet.
- This sound inlet nozzle is inserted into a corresponding receptacle in the hearing aid housing, wherein the sound inlet nozzle for acoustic and mechanical reasons usually leads directly through the housing surface to the sound inlet opening in the hearing aid housing.
- a microphone for an electric hearing aid is known, which is provided with a sound inlet nozzle.
- the hearing aid in addition to a first microphone on another microphone, which is sensitive only for near-sound and coupled to a second input of the amplifier, both microphones are coupled to the associated inputs of the amplifier, that upon supply of the output signals of the two Microphones to the concerned Inputs of the amplifier, the amplifier provides almost no output signal, provided that the output signals of the two microphones are caused by near-noise.
- a behind the ear portable hearing aid is known with a connected to an amplifier circuit microphone system.
- the microphone system which includes at least one microphone and two sound inlets, the recording characteristic of the microphone system is changeable.
- a microphone for placement in a hearing aid wherein the microphone has three sound entry openings, which are all arranged in a common plane.
- the object of the present invention is to improve the arrangement of a microphone with a microphone housing in a hearing aid worn behind the ear.
- a hearing aid worn behind the ear with a hearing aid housing and disposed in the hearing aid housing microphone with a microphone housing in that the hearing aid housing each has a sound inlet opening in opposite sides and arranged on two opposite sides of the microphone housing each a sound inlet nozzle with a sound inlet opening is, wherein the sound inlet nozzle protrude into the sound inlet openings of the hearing aid housing and wherein at least approximately the sound inlet opening of a sound inlet nozzle distal and the sound inlet opening of the other sound inlet nozzle is disposed proximal to the head of a hearing aid wearer with worn hearing aid.
- the hearing aid designed in accordance with the invention enables in a simple manner the arrangement of lateral sound entry openings in the hearing device housing. Due to the small design of the microphone and the elimination of additional sound channels between the microphone and the sound inlet opening in the hearing device housing the microphone is possible both in the middle and at one end within the hearing aid housing.
- the proposed arrangement has a microphone with two sound inlet nozzle. These are arranged on two opposite sides of the microphone and also give the incident sound signals access to the front microphone volume.
- Microphones with opposite sound inlet nozzles can be integrated in a simple manner in hearing aid housing and allow with minimal space requirements a bilateral sound entry. The required for physical reasons cross-section of the sound inlet surface is thus distributed to the two sound inlet nozzle, whereby they can be made relatively small.
- the sound channels between the lateral sound entry openings in the hearing aid housing and the microphone diaphragm are made very short and simple by the microphone according to the invention, which has an advantageous effect on the acoustic properties.
- the sound inlet nozzles can advantageously simultaneously serve as means for fastening the microphone in the hearing device. Other fasteners can be omitted.
- the microphone according to the invention accommodates both acoustic and design specifications.
- the sound sockets of the microphone and the sound inlet openings in opposite sides of the hearing aid housing arranged on a common axis of symmetry.
- the thus achieved symmetrical design of the microphone housing simplifies installation and alignment in the hearing aid housing. Furthermore, the moisture or contamination entering through a sound inlet opening can escape again through the opposite sound inlet opening or be blown out if necessary.
- a directional microphone system can be realized.
- all microphones are preferably designed according to the invention.
- the simple space-saving placement of a microphone according to the invention in the housing of the hearing aid facilitates the placement of several such microphones within a hearing aid housing.
- the microphone comprises a plurality of pairs of sound inlet nozzles, wherein each of the sound inlet nozzles of a pair are arranged on two opposite sides of the microphone housing and open into a chamber on one side of a microphone diaphragm.
- the sound inlet nozzle of a pair are each introduced into a sound inlet opening in opposite sides of the hearing aid housing, wherein at least approximately the sound inlet opening of a sound inlet nozzle distal and the sound inlet opening of the other sound inlet nozzle of a pair is arranged proximal to the head with worn hearing aid.
- FIGS. 1 to 3 a microphone in three side views.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 show side views of a behind the ear portable hearing aid for the arrangement of a microphone according to the invention.
- FIG. 6 shows a hearing aid worn behind the ear in section with a microphone arranged according to the invention.
- FIG. 7 shows a microphone in cross section.
- FIG. 1 shows a microphone 1 in plan view.
- the microphone 1 has a microphone housing 2, on each of which a sound inlet connection 3 or 4 is arranged on two opposite sides.
- the sound inlet ports 3 and 4 each form a sound inlet opening 3A and 4A at their free end and lead via their other end to a microphone chamber in the interior of the microphone 1.
- the microphone 1 comprises three connection contacts 5, 6 and 7.
- FIG. 2 shows the microphone 1 in a side view.
- the housing 2 of the drawing plane outwardly facing sound inlet nozzle 3 is arranged with the sound inlet opening 3A. Furthermore, the drawing of the electrical connection contact 5 can be removed.
- FIG. 3 is a front side of the microphone 1 shown. Also from this, the housing 2 with the two, arranged on opposite sides of the sound inlet nozzle 3 and 4 can be seen.
- the hearing aid 8 comprises a hearing aid housing 9, at its upper end a Support hook 10 is formed.
- the hearing aid housing 9 each have a sound inlet opening 11 and 12, in which the sound inlet nozzle for receiving the microphone according to the invention are introduced. Due to the space-saving arrangement of the microphone according to the invention in the hearing aid housing 9, the sound inlet openings 11 and 12 can be positioned almost arbitrarily on two opposite sides of the hearing aid housing 9. Preferably, the sound inlet openings 11 and 12 and thus the sound inlet nozzle of the respective microphone lie on a common axis.
- FIG. 6 shows a simplified representation of a section through the hearing aid housing 9.
- Two opposite housing shells 9A and 9B each have a sound inlet opening 11 and 12, which are formed by the two housing feedthroughs 11A and 12A.
- the microphone 1 is supported on both sides of the sound inlet nozzle 3 and 4, which are positively inserted into the two housing bushings 11A and 12A.
