- the rod Since the rod is cylindrical in form, it may be rotated from a trapped or restrained position as shown in FIGS. 13 and 14 to an untrapped or unrestrained position as shown in FIG. 15. In the trapped position, the pump is inoperative and unpressurized. This means that the first spring 62 is in a relaxed or almost relaxed condition. When in the restrained position, the rod flange and the opening 143 align and the rod flange slides into the opening and is restrained against rotation as well as outward linear movement. However, by backing the handle to the left and simply rotating the handle 54 a half turn, or 180°, the rod flange moves to the unrestrained position and the wand may be pressurized by the user or operator gripping the handle and pulling it to the left against the force of the compression spring.

Claims (32)
- Appareil portatif de pulvérisation à pompe caractérisé par :un boîtier (44 ; 204 ; 284) doté d'une première (46 ; 206 ; 290) et d'une deuxième (48 ; 208 ; 292) parties d'extrémité, ledit boîtier étant espacé d'un réservoir (10 ; 226 ; 192) de fluide à pulvériser ;un piston (50 ; 210 ; 286) étant déplaçable dans ledit boîtier entre ladite première et ladite deuxième parties d'extrémité ;une première chambre (80 ; 220 ; 302) dans ledit boîtier entre ledit piston et ladite deuxième partie d'extrémité, ladite première chambre étant formée et/ou agrandie lorsque ledit piston est déplacé vers ladite première partie d'extrémité, ladite première chambre étant en communication fonctionnelle avec le réservoir espacé de fluide à pulvériser ;une poignée (54 ; 212 ; 288 ; 168) connectée audit piston conçue pour être actionnée par un utilisateur dudit appareil portatif de pulvérisation à pompe pour déplacer ledit piston vers ladite première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier ;un premier ressort (62 ; 216 ; 287) connecté de manière fonctionnelle audit piston pour solliciter ledit piston vers ladite deuxième partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier, pour fournir une force de sollicitation contre un fluide dans ladite première chambre ;une première soupape (84 ; 222 ; 304) positionnée entre le réservoir de fluide et ladite première chambre, ladite première soupape étant ouverte lorsque ladite poignée est actionnée pour déplacer ledit piston vers ladite première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier ;une buse (66 ; 242 ; 308) connectée de manière fonctionnelle audit boîtier et positionnée pour recevoir un fluide depuis ladite première chambre ;une deuxième soupape ([88, 96, 98, 100, 102, 104 et 124]; 244; 306) séparant ladite première chambre de ladite buse ; etun actionneur ([68 et 70] ; 254 ; 310) connecté de manière fonctionnelle à ladite deuxième soupape pour ouvrir ladite deuxième soupape pour faire passer un fluide de ladite première chambre à ladite buse.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 comprenant :un logement extérieur (202 ; 282), ledit logement contenant ledit boîtier, ledit piston, ledit premier ressort, ladite première soupape et ladite deuxième soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 2 comprenant :un conduit (224, 303) d'alimentation situé à l'intérieur dudit logement extérieur et étant connecté à ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 dans lequel :ladite deuxième soupape comprend un élément déplaçable (246), une ouverture (250) et un deuxième ressort (248), ledit deuxième ressort servant à solliciter ledit élément déplaçable pour fermer ladite ouverture.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 comprenant :une deuxième chambre (240) située entre ladite première et ladite deuxième soupapes.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 dans lequel :ledit actionneur comprend un bouton (255) d'actionnement, une tige (256) d'articulation connectée audit bouton d'actionnement et un bras (258) pour s'engager dans ladite soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 6 dans lequel :ladite deuxième soupape comprend un élément déplaçable, une ouverture et un deuxième ressort, ledit deuxième ressort servant à solliciter ledit élément déplaçable pour fermer ladite ouverture ; etledit bras dudit actionneur s'engage dans ledit élément déplaçable de ladite deuxième soupape pour déplacer ledit élément déplaçable contre la sollicitation dudit deuxième ressort.
- Appareil selon la revendication 7 comprenant :un logement extérieur, ledit logement contenant ledit boîtier, ledit piston, ledit premier ressort, ladite première soupape et ladite deuxième soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 8 comprenant :un conduit d'alimentation situé à l'intérieur dudit logement extérieur et étant connecté à ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 9 comprenant :une deuxième chambre située entre ladite première et ladite deuxième soupapes.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 comprenant :une deuxième chambre (82) en connexion avec ledit boîtier connectée de manière fonctionnelle audit réservoir ;ladite première soupape séparant ladite deuxième chambre de ladite première chambre ;un deuxième ressort (126) pour s'engager dans et solliciter ladite buse ; etledit actionneur comprenant un déclencheur (68 et 70) à commande manuelle connecté à ladite buse pour déplacer ladite buse et ladite deuxième soupape par lequel un fluide dans ladite première chambre peut être éjecté à travers ladite buse.
- Appareil selon la revendication 11 dans lequel :ladite deuxième soupape comprend une tige (88) de soupape engagée dans ladite buse ;ledit déclencheur provoque une pulvérisation de fluide en déplaçant ladite buse et ladite tige de soupape vers ladite première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier par lequel ledit deuxième ressort est comprimé pour fournir une force pour renvoyer ladite tige de soupape et ladite buse dans une position fermée ; etledit boîtier comprend une première partie (120) de manchon dans laquelle est montée ladite tige de soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 11 dans lequel :ledit boîtier comprend une deuxième partie (146) de manchon pour monter un plongeur (141) pour ouvrir ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 13 comprenant :un plongeur monté dans ledit deuxième manchon pour s'engager dans et ouvrir ladite première soupape pour permettre à un fluide situé dans ladite première chambre de s'écouler dans ladite deuxième chambre et de retourner audit réservoir.
- Appareil selon la revendication 14 comprenant :un troisième ressort (144) sollicitant ledit plongeur pour l'empêcher de s'engager dans ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 14 comprenant :une troisième chambre située entre ladite deuxième soupape et ladite buse ; etun troisième ressort sollicitant ledit plongeur pour l'empêcher de s'engager dans ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 11 dans lequel :ledit déclencheur est un élément de forme généralement tubulaire monté autour dudit boîtier.
- Appareil selon la revendication 11 comprenant :un embout (64) connecté à ladite première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier, ledit embout étant doté d'une bride (140) et dans lequel :ladite poignée comprend une bride (142) pour s'engager dans ladite bride dudit embout pour empêcher ladite poignée de déplacer ledit piston.
- Appareil selon la revendication 11 dans lequel :ladite deuxième soupape a une ouverture centrale (90) communiquant de manière fonctionnelle avec une ouverture (112) dans ladite buse.
- Appareil selon la revendication 11 comprenant :une troisième chambre (114) située entre ladite deuxième soupape et ladite buse ; et dans lequelladite poignée s'étend au-delà de la première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier ;ladite deuxième chambre est formée dans ladite deuxième partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier ; etladite première soupape est située dans ladite deuxième partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 comprenant :un récipient (10 ; 192) comprenant ledit réservoir ;une deuxième chambre (82) en communication avec ladite deuxième partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier connectée de manière fonctionnelle audit réservoir ;ladite première soupape séparant ladite deuxième chambre de ladite première chambre ;un deuxième ressort (126) pour s'engager dans ladite buse ; etledit actionneur comprenant un déclencheur (68 et 70) connecté à ladite buse pour déplacer ladite buse et ladite deuxième soupape par lequel un fluide dans ladite première chambre peut être éjecté à travers ladite buse.
- Appareil selon la revendication 21 comprenant :un tube (12) d'alimentation connectant ledit récipient à ladite deuxième chambre ; etun manchon (24) de stockage connecté audit récipient pour stocker ledit boîtier.
- Appareil selon la revendication 21 dans lequel :ladite deuxième soupape comprend une tige (88) de soupape engagée dans ladite buse ;ledit déclencheur déplace ladite buse et ladite tige de soupape vers ladite première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier lorsque ledit déclencheur est actionné par lequel ledit deuxième ressort est comprimé pour fournir une force sur ladite tige de soupape et sur ladite buse ; etledit boîtier comprenant un manchon (120) dans lequel est montée ladite tige de soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 21 comprenant :un tube d'alimentation connecté audit récipient et à ladite deuxième chambre ; etune soupape (28) de sécurité connectée audit récipient et audit tube d'alimentation.
- Appareil selon la revendication 21 comprenant :un plongeur (141) pour s'engager dans et ouvrir ladite première soupape pour permettre à un fluide dans ladite première chambre de s'écouler dans ladite deuxième chambre et de revenir audit récipient.
- Appareil selon la revendication 25 comprenant :un troisième ressort (144) sollicitant ledit plongeur pour empêcher ledit engagement dans ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 21 comprenant :un embout (64) connecté à ladite première partie d'extrémité dudit boîtier, ledit embout étant doté d'une bride (140) ; et dans lequel :ladite poignée comprend une bride (142) pour s'engager dans ladite bride dudit embout pour retenir ladite poignée.
- Appareil selon la revendication 21 comprenant :une troisième chambre (114) située entre ladite deuxième soupape et ladite buse.
- Appareil selon la revendication 1 comprenant :un récipient (10) comprenant ledit réservoir ;un tube (12) d'alimentation pouvant être connecté de manière déplaçable audit récipient ;ledit boîtier ayant un premier manchon (120) et un deuxième manchon (146), ledit deuxième manchon étant connecté audit tube d'alimentation ;une deuxième chambre (82) formée dans ledit deuxième manchon ;ladite première soupape située dans ledit boîtier séparant ladite première chambre de ladite deuxième chambre ;ladite deuxième soupape située dans ledit premier manchon dudit boîtier ; etun plongeur (141) pouvant s'engager dans ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 29 comprenant :un deuxième ressort (126) en contact avec ladite deuxième soupape pour solliciter ladite deuxième soupape vers une position fermée ; etun troisième ressort (144) pour solliciter ledit plongeur en l'éloignant de ladite première soupape.
- Appareil selon la revendication 30 dans lequel :ledit deuxième ressort est monté autour dudit premier manchon.
- Appareil selon la revendication 29 dans lequel :ladite deuxième soupape comprend une tige (88) de soupape ; et comprenantun joint torique (98) monté autour de ladite tige de soupape ; etun siège (124) de soupape formé par une partie dudit premier manchon.
