Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung bzw. ein System sowie ein Verfahren zum kontrollierten Abbrechen eines Startvorgangs für einen Verbrennungsmotor. Die Erfindung zielt darauf ab, die herkömmlicherweise auftretende Gefahr einer Beschädigung des Motors bei einem Startabbruch durch eine unter Umständen im Bereich der Ansaugrohre stattfindenden Verbrennung eines im Brennraum befindlichen Kraftstoff-Luft-Gemisches auszuschließen. Dazu wird erfindungsgemäß ein Rückdrehen des Motors mit Hilfe des Anlassers unterbunden, wobei gleichzeitig die Einspritzanlage abgeschaltet und eine Zündung unterdrückt wird.
