Claims (7)
- Katalysator für eine Abgasanlage einer Kraftfahrzeug-Brennkraftmaschine mit einem längsdurchströmten monolithischen keramischen Katalysator-Brick (2), einem den Brick (2) umschließenden Mantelgehäuse (1) mit jeweils einem Einlauf- (4) bzw. Auslauftrichter (5) an den Stirnseiten des Bricks (2) und einer Quellmatte (3) zwischen dem Brick (2) und der Wand des Mantelgehäuses (1), dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Brick (2) an seinem Umfang zumindest mit einer Sollbruchstelle versehen ist.
- Katalysator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Sollbruchstelle als eine den Umfang des Bricks (2) umfangende Rinne (6) ausgebildet ist.
- Katalysator nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Sollbruchstelle des Bricks (2) als auf einer Umfangslinie angeordnete Vertiefungen (7) an der Oberfläche des Bricks (2) ausgebildet ist.
- Katalysator nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Sollbruchstelle vorgesehen ist, die, bezogen auf die Längserstreckung des Bricks (2), in der Mitte des Bricks (2) angeordnet ist.
- Katalysator nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass über die Länge des Katalysator-Bricks (2) an dessen Umfang mehrere Sollbruchstellen angeordnet sind.
- Katalysator nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Quellmatte (3) über den Sollbruchstellen mit Verstärkungen ausgeführt ist.
- Katalysator nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verstärkung durch ein Blechteil gebildet ist.
