Definitions

  • the invention relates to a press section for dewatering a paper, cardboard, tissue or another fibrous web in a machine for producing the same with one, formed by two press rolls press nip through which in addition to the fibrous web on both sides ever a press felt runs. It further relates to a press according to the preamble of claim 11.
  • a press section of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1 results in particular from US-A-5 328 569.
  • a suction box is arranged after the press nip at a point at which the lower press felt is already led away from the fibrous web .
  • the suction boxes described in this document primarily serve to transfer the fibrous web from a forming wire to a press felt or to remove excess steam from the fibrous web prior to pressing.
  • a stationary suction element with a convexly curved contact surface in the web running direction is already known from this document.
  • the suction element in question is again arranged in front of the first press nip and serves to remove excess steam.
  • US Pat. No. 4,880,500 discloses a stationary suction-suction device provided with a convex contact surface, by means of which a respective suction sieve roller is replaced.
  • the removal of the upper press felt from the fibrous web to the press nip causes problems.
  • the edge area of the fibrous web is critical. Often, the edge does not detach immediately from the upper press felt, so that it comes to the so-called edge plucking. As a result, tears or even breaks in the fibrous web are not uncommon.
  • An object of the invention is therefore to ensure a secure guidance of the fibrous web during and after the removal of the upper press felt.
  • this object is achieved in that, after the press nip, both press felts partially wrap around a guide roll of the lower press felt together with the fibrous web and run to a suction box in contact with the lower press felt, the upper press felt leading away from the fibrous web in the region of the suction box becomes.
  • the deflection of the guide roller causes a slight detachment of the upper press felt from the fibrous web - especially when the guide roller is sucked.
  • the negative pressure emanating from the suction box then allows a problem-free removal of the upper press felt from the fibrous web.
  • the negative pressure of the guide roller and the suction box acts through the lower press felt and thus enhances the adhesion of the fibrous web to the lower press felt.
  • the upper press felt is already led away from the fibrous web in the initial region of the suction box.
  • the contact surface of the suction box should be convexly curved at least in one, preferably at the beginning, section towards the lower press felt.
  • the entire or at least the predominant part of the contact surface of the suction box is curved convexly toward the lower press felt.
  • a special embodiment results when the contact surface of the suction box has a stronger, convex curvature in a section which is preferably at the beginning than in the remaining part.
  • the device according to the invention makes it possible to lead the upper press felt away from the fibrous web in the area of the first suction slot, so that the adhesion of the fibrous web to the lower press felt can be increased in the further course of the suction box.
  • the suction box in the region of the edges of the fibrous web should each have a separate vacuum zone with increased negative pressure.
  • the invention also relates to a press section of a machine for producing and / or finishing a paper, board, tissue or another fibrous web, with at least one press nip through which a band runs on both sides in addition to the fibrous web, and with a stationary suction element arranged after the press nip.
  • Suction elements are known in addition to the design as rotating suction rolls as suction boxes with a substantially flat contact surface.
  • suctioned rolls are used to ensure the adhesion of the fibrous web. Due to the limited open surface (suction openings) of an evacuated roll, which is between 20 and 60%, the fibrous web is only insufficiently fixed to the belt, especially at high speeds, so that it can come to the web lift off and edge flutter.
  • the task is to ensure a safe guidance of the fibrous web in wegg meetings the upper band.
  • this object is achieved in that the two bands run together with the guided from this fibrous web to the suction element, that the fibrous web is sucked through the suction element to the suction element with respect to the inner, air-permeable, endless circulating belt, wherein the respect to the suction element outer Band is led away in the region of the suction element of the fibrous web, the inner band slides over a contact surface of the suction element and the contact surface has a plurality of suction openings, and that the contact surface in the web running direction is convexly curved.
  • suction elements whose contact surface is curved circular-sector-shaped in the web running direction, wherein the radius of curvature should be in the range of 0.2 to 10 m, preferably between 0.4 and 3 m.
  • the radius of curvature should be in the range of 0.2 to 10 m, preferably between 0.4 and 3 m.
  • other forms of curvature are possible.
  • the suction openings should be formed as suction slots.
  • the suction slots run obliquely to the web running direction.
  • the oblique arrangement counteracts sucking the tape into the suction slots.
  • suction slots extend approximately transversely to the web running direction.
  • the suction element several, preferably transversely to the web running direction has extending and juxtaposed in the web running direction suction zones, wherein at least the, from the suction openings outgoing vacuum of each suction zone is independently adjustable. It is often sufficient if the suction element has two suction zones. For certain applications, it may be for limiting the energy for negative pressure generation and the volume caused by the air flow, be advantageous if the suction element has at least, preferably exactly three suction zones.
  • any suction opening outgoing vacuum is adjustable separately.
  • the suction openings of a suction zone if it has several, can be individually adjustable.
  • the desired expansion of the suction zones in the web running direction may require that at least one, preferably all suction zones are formed by a plurality of suction openings, wherein the suction openings of a suction zone are connected to each other via a suction chamber and the negative pressure in the suction chambers is separately adjustable.
  • the level of vacuum of each suction zone can not only be manually adjusted but also made independently controllable.
  • the controllability allows adjustments to the web speed, the type of fibrous web, its weight, moisture content, etc ..
  • the suction element preferably at the beginning of a moistening device for moistening the contact surface.
  • a moistening device for moistening the contact surface.
  • transverse to the web running direction spray tubes are suitable.
  • suction openings and a humidification starting from the interior of the suction element is possible.
  • the curvature of the contact surface thereby allows a relatively large opening angle between the bands, which improves the ventilation of the gusset. As a result, the risk of edge flutter of the fibrous web decreases.
  • the opening angle should be greater than 10 °.
  • the outer band When using the suction element, the outer band should be viewed in the web running direction approximately in the middle region of the contact surface away from the fibrous web. It is particularly advantageous if the outer band is guided away from the fibrous web in the region of the second suction zone, the suction element preferably having three suction zones.
  • the press nip is preferably carried out extended
  • FIG. 1 shows a cross section of an exemplary embodiment of a press arrangement according to the first aspect of the invention.
  • the fibrous web 1 runs on each side with a press felt 4, 5 through a press nip formed by two press rolls 2, 3. While the lower press roller 3 is cylindrical, the upper press roller 2 has the second a flexible roll shell, which runs over a contact shoe with a concave contact surface to form an extended press nip.
  • a reversal of this press roll arrangement that is, an upper cylindrical press roll 3 is also possible.
  • Press felts 4, 5 take on the pressed in the press nip from the fibrous web 1 water.
  • the water reaching via the press felts 4, 5 to the press rolls 2, 3 is thrown off these after the press nip and taken up by suitable, known water catcher 12.
  • the fibrous web 1, together with both press felts 4, 5, passes over an evacuated guide roll 6 of the lower press felt 5.
  • This guide roll 6 has a perforated roll shell, the interior of which is connected to a vacuum source. This negative pressure acts on the fibrous web 1 through the lower press felt 5 and thus enhances the adhesion of the fibrous web 1 to the lower press felt 5.
  • the press felts 4, 5 arrive with the fibrous web 1 to a, with the lower press felt 5 in contact suction box 7.
  • This suction box 7 has a convex to the lower press felt 5 out curved contact surface.
  • the delimitation of, connected to a vacuum source interior of the suction box 7 relative to the lower press felt 5 is ensured by the formation of a plurality of transverse to the web running direction 8 suction slots 9 in the contact surface.
  • the negative pressure of the suction box 7 causes an increased adhesion of the entire fibrous web 1 on the lower press felt 5, so that even in the region of the first suction slot 9 of the suction box 7, the upper press felt 4 can be led away from the fibrous web 1.
  • the fibrous web 1 is transferred to a belt 10, for example, a drying wire of a following dryer section of the paper machine, which is supported by an evacuated guide roller 11.
  • FIG. 2 shows a schematic cross-section of an exemplary embodiment of a suction element 23 according to the second aspect of the invention.
  • the fibrous web 21 passes through together with on both sides each a band 22, 30 a formed by two press rollers 32, extended press nip. This serves to dewatering the fibrous web 21, wherein the bands 22, 30 are formed as water-absorbing and air-permeable press felts.
  • the press nip is part of a press section of a paper machine for producing the fibrous web 21.
  • the fibrous web 21 is guided by both belts 22, 30 to the suction member 23.
  • the outer, with respect to the suction member 23 tape 30 is led away from the fibrous web 21.
  • the inner band 22 guides the fibrous web 21 to a following unit, wherein the fibrous web 21 can be taken over, for example, by a press felt of a following press nip or a dryer wire of a following dryer section.
  • the suction member 23 has a circular sector-shaped curved contact surface 24 via which the inner band 22 slides.
  • the radius of curvature of this convex curvature is about 1 m.
  • the suction element 23 has three suction zones 27 which are each formed by a suction opening 25 in the form of a suction slot running transversely to the web running direction 26 in the contact surface 24.
  • the suction openings 25 are each connected via a suction chamber with a vacuum source, wherein the height of the negative pressure of each suction chamber 34 is controlled independently via a valve 33.
  • the outgoing from the suction openings 25 negative pressure can thus be adapted to local requirements and minimized in height, which not only saves energy, but also reduces the noise of the air flow.
  • first suction port 25 and suction zone 27 serves to increase the adhesion of the fibrous web 21 on the inner band 22, is intended by the second suction zone 27 lifting the fibrous web 21, in particular their edges, from the inner band 22 during the removal of the outer band 30 are prevented. Therefore, the second suction zones 27 requires an increased negative pressure.
  • suction zone 27 is only once again increase the adhesion of the fibrous web 21 on the inner band 22 and therefore usually requires a lower negative pressure.
  • the opening angle 31 between the fibrous web 21 and the outer band 30 is about 20 °.
  • the contact surface 24 of the suction element 23 is formed essentially by transverse to the web running direction 26 strips 29. These strips 29 are adapted to the tape run and limit the individual suction openings 25, that is, the suction slots.
  • the strips 29 have a ceramic layer on the, the band 22 leading surface.
  • the contact surface 24 is moistened by a spray pipe 28 arranged in front of the suction element 23 and extending transversely to the web running direction 26.
