Da sich das Druckbild bei jeder Umdrehung des Druckzylinders wiederholt, ist die Drucklänge, das heißt, die Ausdehnung des zu druckenden Bildes in Laufrichtung der Bedruckstoffbahn, durch die Umfangslänge des Druckzylinders begrenzt. Zum Drucken von großformatigen Bildern wird daher eine Druckmaschine benötigt, bei der die Druckzylinder einen großen Durchmesser haben und damit eine große Drucklänge ermöglichen und/oder eine große axiale Länge haben und somit eine entsprechend große Druckbreite ermöglichen, so daß das Bild im Querformat gedruckt werden kann. Claims (1)
