Abstract

The invention relates to a device for assembling panels or other elements by screwing, using a screw that is arranged in the depth of the panel and which does not extend beyond the panel prior to screwing. The device does not require a piece that extends into the other panel as do existing devices, especially those termed "eccentric". The inventive device comprises four main pieces: two stationary pieces - the body (1), which is retained in the panel by a thread (2), and the guiding sleeve (6), which is provided with a short threaded part; and two mobile pieces - the socket (4) and the screw (5), which are driven by a screwdriver (10) that is introduced through a window (3). The socket and the screw are enclosed by the body and the sleeve.
