Description

The present invention relates to arched roof structures especially discoverable, that is to say in which panels forming the cover can slide relative to each other, the so-called structures comprising adapted curved profiles which are provided with overlapping lateral grooves for positioning the plates cover and possibly their sliding. The present invention applies in particular to the area of sunroof swimming pools and shelters for swimming pools which have in their structure curved profiles forming vaulted.

The document FR 2 627 530 describes a curved tubular profile with grooves lateral intended for the same applications as those of the present invention. This profile comprises a substantially tubular carrying central body equipped at least four pairs of lateral fins arranged symmetrically by relative to the central body and which form at least three parallel grooves. The fins are formed integrally with the central body in order to preserve parallelism to the grooves when bending the profile. When in use, the profile is curved so as to form a vault; the highest groove is used for fixing the cover plates forming the roof, the second and the third grooves are used for fixing the plates of side covers. A side plate is slid into the second groove on one side of the profile and in the third groove on the other side.

The present invention relates to a cover structure which is similar to that which is known, in particular from document FR.2.627.530, in that it comprises at least one curved cover plate and at at least two hoop profiles having a central body provided with at least two lateral fins, the groove between the two said fins serving as housing at the side edge of a cover plate.

As is known from document US 4,850,167 A, the structure of cover further comprises at least one accessory which extends transversely between two adjacent sections; plus one of the two lateral fins has a discontinuity at the level of the accessory, said fin being formed by at least one removable bar coming in stop at least on one side of said accessory.

Certainly we know from document US.4.783.861 the implementation of a or several removable bars intended to constitute one or more lateral fins of an arched profile. However according to the teaching of this document, the removable nature of said bar is intended to facilitate bending of the profile. So does not appear in the teaching of this document creating a discontinuity on said removable bar in view of inserting into the cover structure an accessory extending transversely between two adjacent sections.

According to the invention, said accessory is a transverse finishing element a plate, in particular a roof covering plate, called roof plate which has a load-bearing cavity, in which is fitted the transverse edge of said plate, the wall facing the exterior of said carrier cavity, comprising a stiffening shoulder. In the case of a discoverable cover structure, with at least one sliding side plate in a second groove, different from the groove serving as a housing for the roof plate, it may be provided only one removable bar abutting against the transverse finishing element of the plaque. This arrangement, which is made possible by the fact that this groove is not used over its entire length, has several advantages. On the one apart it reduces the cost of the structure. On the other hand a groove not used represents a hardly accessible space likely to be occupied by mold, insects, dead leaves or other objects undesirable. By using, in accordance with the invention, a single bar on a given length of the profile, this disadvantage is eliminated.

Preferably the transverse accessory can, at its two ends, be fixed to the carrier body of the two adjacent profiles.

In an alternative embodiment, the structure further comprises a second accessory, in the case of a blind or curtain winder / unwinder.

Preferably in this case, each profile has at least three lateral fins delimiting between them two grooves, one serving as housing at the side edge of the blind during its unwinding. So, so advantageous, the blind is guided laterally in the grooves defined by the side fins of the two adjacent profiles.

The profile of the structure of the invention may have only two fins, a fixed fin and a removable fin formed by the bar. So, the profile has only one lateral groove relative to the body central carrier or two lateral grooves on either side of the body carrier in the case of a symmetrical profile; each groove can then, as will be explained more fully below, serve both fixing of roof plates and / or side plates.

Furthermore, the fact that the bar is removable facilitates the installation of cover plates in the grooves and dismantling of the shelter.

According to the invention, the type of cooperation of the bar with the body central is not limited. The fixing of the bar on the profile can be put implemented by any known means. The bar can thus be glued, screwed or fitted on the central body of the profile.

According to a particular embodiment, the bar cooperates by interlocking with the central body which allows easy removal and a multiple number of times without damage to the profile.

According to a particular embodiment, the central body is symmetrical relative to an axis substantially perpendicular to the lateral fins. The symmetry of the central body and the entire profile allows bending easily the latter and obtain fairly small radii of curvature.

According to a particular variant, the central body has two cavities; one of the cavities can be used, as will be explained more fully subsequently, to the assembly of two profiles in the extension one of the other to form an arch while the second cavity is more particularly intended to be opened for inserting a seal in particular in the case of a pinion arch.

According to a particular embodiment, the profile comprises at least three sets of side fins and two side hollow bodies in one piece with the central supporting body, each being respectively formed by the two overlapping fins of two adjacent sets and a connecting junction face the ends of the two said fins. These hollow bodies improve the stiffening of the entire profile.

According to a particular embodiment, of a discoverable structure, it comprises:
  • a fixed roof plate, each lateral edge of which is in a first groove of the two adjacent profiles,
  • at least one discoverable side plate, each lateral edge of which is capable of sliding in a second groove of the two adjacent profiles,
  • a blind winder / unwinder which comes transversely into abutment against a transverse edge of the roof plate, the lateral edges of said blind being able to slide in the first groove of the two adjacent profiles.

  • la figure 1 reprĂ©sente une vue en coupe transversale d'un premier mode de rĂ©alisation d'un profilĂ© Ă  barrette amovible ;
  • la figure 2 reprĂ©sente une vue partielle en coupe transversale de la structure de couverture comprenant le profilĂ© de la figure 1, une plaque de toit, deux plaques latĂ©rales et un enrouleur/dĂ©rouleur de store ;

The present invention, its characteristics and the various advantages which it provides will appear better on reading the description which follows and refers to the appended drawing representing two particular embodiments, presented by way of nonlimiting examples and in which:
  • Figure 1 shows a cross-sectional view of a first embodiment of a profile with removable bar;
  • 2 shows a partial view in cross section of the cover structure comprising the profile of Figure 1, a roof plate, two side plates and a roller blind / unwinder;
  • Figure 3 shows a perspective view of a second embodiment of the invention; and
  • 4 shows a cross-sectional view of an example of a transverse element for finishing a roof plate.

The cover structure of the present invention includes at least a curved cover plate, at least two arched sections having a central load-bearing body and at least two lateral fins, the groove between the two so-called fins serving as housing on the lateral edge of a plate of cover and an accessory which extends transversely between two profiles adjacent. One of the two lateral fins has a discontinuity at the accessory level; this fin is actually formed by a bar removable abutting against said accessory.

Les corps creux 4 sont symétriques l'un de l'autre par rapport au corps central 2.Referring to Figure 1, the profile 1 has a central body carrier 2 symmetrical with respect to the Z axis, a first set 3 of two fins 3a symmetrical to each other with respect to the Z axis, two lateral hollow bodies 4 symmetrical to each other with respect to the Z axis and a removable bar 5. The central supporting body 2 has a first end 2a and a second end 2b. In the example shown, the central body 2 is hollow and has two cavities 2c and 2d each symmetrical about the Z axis. fins 3a are formed integrally with the central body 2; they are symmetrical to each other with respect to the Z axis and extend in a plane substantially perpendicular to the latter. The lateral hollow bodies 4 are each consisting of two superimposed fins 4a and 4b and a face of junction 4c which connects the ends of the two fins 4a and 4b. Hollow bodies 4 are symmetrical to each other with respect to the central body 2.

The removable bar 5 comprises a flat part 5a which has a first side 5b and a second side 5c. The second side 5c of this part plane 5a comprises two parallel ribs 5d capable of fitting onto the first end 2a of the central body 2. When, as shown in the Figure 1, the bar 5 is fitted on the central body, the flat part 5a defines two fins 6 symmetrical to one another with respect to the Z axis. In the example shown, the bar 5 has on its first face 5b two longitudinal and parallel bosses 7 which can cooperate by interlocking with a second bar, not shown, which extends parallel to the bar 5.

It is also possible, within the structure of the invention, to equip the profile 1 of a second bar at the second end 2b of the central body 2 or to have the bar 5 at this second end 2b. In the particular example shown, the same type of bar 5 can be used for the first and for the second end 2b of the body central due to the symmetry of the latter.

Dans l'exemple représenté, le profilé 1 équipé de la barrette 5 comporte une première paire de rainures R1 définies par la seconde face 5c de la partie plane 5a de la barrette 5 et les ailettes 3a et une seconde paire de rainures R2 définies par les ailettes 3a et les ailettes 4a des corps creux latéraux 4In the example shown, the section 1 equipped with the bar 5 comprises a first pair of grooves R1 defined by the second face 5c of the flat part 5a of the bar 5 and the fins 3a and a second pair of grooves R2 defined by the fins 3a and the fins 4a of the hollow bodies lateral 4

Advantageously, as shown in FIG. 1, the ends 2a and 2b of the central carrying body each have a guide line 8 passing through the Z axis defined by a groove whose cross section has a V shape. Similarly, the first face of the flat part 5a of the bar 5 also includes a guide line 9 similar to the line guide 8 previously described.

In the example shown, the arch is formed by two sections 1 which are longitudinally assembled by the introduction of assembly parts 10 to inside the cavity 2d of the central body 2. It is also possible to use a single profile 1 and bend it so as to form a complete arch. The perfect symmetry of the profile along the Z axis and the presence of the lateral bodies 4 which improve the stiffening of the profile assembly make it possible to obtain radii of curvature of the order of 600 mm. Cavity 2c is open to level of the guide line 8 of the second end 2b of the central body and a seal J is inserted there. This seal J can be easily inserted by opening the the cavity 2c; if a bar 5 is disposed at the second end 2b of the central body 2, it then serves as means for closing the cavity 2c and protects seal J.

In Figure 2, the profile 1 is equipped with three bars 5, 5 ', 5 ".

The first bar 5 extends to the box 11 of a blind retractor / unwinder 12. A cover plate T intended for form the roof (also called roof plate) is slid into the first groove R1 defined by the second face 5c of the first bar 5 and the fin 3a. The roof plate T also abuts against the box 11 of the blind retractor / unwinder 12 which keeps it inside of the groove R1. The second bar 5 ′ extends from the box 11 of rewinder / unwinder 12 up to a length determined as required of the shelter user. The groove R'1 defined by the second face of the second bar 5 ′ and the fin 3a therefore serves on this groove portion of guiding and holding the lateral edge of the blind S during the course of the box 11. A cover plate L intended to form the side walls of the shelter (also called side plate) is slid into the groove R2 and extends over at least a portion thereof. The third 5 "bar is arranged inside the arch, that is to say at the second end 2b of the central body 2. This makes it possible to have a curtain inside the shelter and protect it by the same from the bad weather to which it can be submitted. This third 5 "bar also serves, as previously exposed, means for closing the cavity 2c which comprises the seal J.

Cet Ă©lĂ©ment transversal peut Ă©galement Ăªtre utilisĂ©e pour la finition d'une plaque de toit, dans le cas oĂ¹ la plaque L est montĂ©e coulissante dans une seconde rainure R2.Referring to Figure 3, the second embodiment of the invention comprises two profiles having a central support body 2 symmetrical by relative to an axis Z and a set 3 of two fins 3a symmetrical to one another relative to the aforementioned Z axis and extending in a plane substantially normal to this last. The elements in common with the first embodiment are referenced identically. The two removable bars 5, 5 'fitted on the first end 2a of the central body 2 define two successive grooves R1, R'1. As shown in Figure 3, the cover plates T and L are slid into the grooves R1, R'1 of two adjacent sections 1. Each plates T and L abuts against a transverse junction element 13 and are held in the grooves R1, R'1 respectively. The removability of the bars 5, 5 ′ on the one hand makes it easy to place the T2 cover plates in the grooves R1, R'1 and on the other hand allows facilitate the dismantling of the shelter. In Figure 4, an example is shown transverse junction element 13. This element has on its whole length a carrier cavity 13a and a stiffening element 13b. In this example, the carrying cavity 13a has a bottom 14a and two walls side 14b and 14c. The stiffening element 13b is delimited by the wall 14c, a wall 14d which extends the bottom 14a of the carrier cavity 13a and an arc of circle 14e which joins the ends of the walls 14c and 14d. In addition this element comprises a seal carrier cavity 15 disposed at the level of the external face of the bottom 14a of the carrier cavity 13a. The plate T is slid into the groove R1 and the element 13 is inserted so that the transverse edge of the plate T is housed in the carrier cavity 13a and comes into abutment against the bottom 14a of the latter. The seal carrier cavity 15 then abuts against the plate lateral L arranged in continuity with the roof plate T in the groove R'1. In the case of an element 13 not comprising a seal-holding cavity 15, it is the external face of the bottom 14a of the carrier cavity which abuts against the plate L. The wall 14c of the stiffening element 13b comes to bear against the outer face of the plate T. The stiffening element exerts on the plate T a force perpendicular to the latter which keeps it in the groove R1 of the profile. This transverse element can also be used for finishing a roof plate, in case the L plate is mounted sliding in a second groove R2.

The constituent materials of the central body 2 and of the bar 5 are not not limited. Advantageously, the bar 5 is formed from a material easily scored. Thus, the profile can be sold with a single bar extending over the entire length of the central body; this bar can be easily cut to length at the place of installation of the shelter which allows the plurality of bars to be formed as required.
