Description

The present invention relates to a cover structure that can be discovered, in particular for swimming pools, as described in GB 2,169,326 A . It relates more particularly to profiles intended to form the hoops constituting the framework of this structure.

It is known that such structures generally consist of fixed and / or sliding elements which are themselves forms of pairs of arches between which panels, of deformable material, and usually transparent or translucent, are mounted. Some of these panels are slidably mounted to make each element at least partially discoverable.

Depending on the specifications desired by the designer, the elements may themselves be fixed or mobile telescopically and horizontally relative to each other.

The arches each forming a pair of elements, are formed from a section - usually lacquered aluminum - which is curved and which has on its lateral faces several grooves for receiving the deformable panels and to ensure sliding.

This is known by the patent FR-A-2,627,530 , a profile of the aforementioned type, which is provided on each of its lateral faces with parallel and superposed fins which define between them at least three guiding grooves. The upper grooves of the profile, that is to say in the remainder of this text, those located on the side of the largest radius of bending, receive the panel which forms the ridge of the element and which is generally fixed with respect to the pair of arches between which it is arranged. Such a panel is usually thicker than side sliding panels. It may in particular be constituted by a honeycomb structure material.

The lower grooves of the profile, that is to say in the remainder of this text, those located on the side of the smallest radius of bending, receive the sliding panels and louvers which, on each side of the hoops, down to the ground. These panels are mostly made of a solid and transparent material, such as in particular polymethyl methacrylate resin or polycarbonate resin, so that these side panels lift have a significant weight to lift to discover in part vertically the structure on its sides, and this, always between each element.

It is also known that, in such structures, to achieve the various mobile or non-moving elements that constitute it, the deformable and sliding panels used most often are flat panels, so that their variable curve is conferred by the arched shape arches between which they are arranged. It follows that, the lateral edges of the panels naturally apply against the inner walls of the guide grooves, so that, during the vertical displacement of the movable panels descending towards the ground, on each longitudinal side of the structure (ascent or descent), one creates by friction, as and when used, scratches on the edges of their faces in contact with the profile. However, it is known that, for reasons essentially due to the expansion of the panels, the spacing of two arches of the same element must be greater than the width of the panels, they are fixed to the ridge, or lift on the sides . These side panels can thus move, slightly, in the transverse direction, or on one side or the other, which has the effect of making visible these scratches on several millimeters, on each of the lateral sides of these panels liftable .

This results in a defect in terms of aesthetics that is difficult to accept by users. In addition, because of the friction of these panels in their guide grooves, the user is forced to exert additional effort on them when he wants to slide to lift them.

The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages by providing means for avoiding such scratches, these means also facilitating the sliding of the panels in their guide groove.

The subject of the present invention is thus a covering structure, especially for a swimming pool, capable of being at least partly uncovered and which consists of several pairs of parallel arcs, which ensure the retention of the deformable panels, in particular of transparent material or translucent, the arches being constituted by a curved section, whose side walls are provided with a series of parallel guide grooves superimposed, perpendicular to the plane of the arch in which the deformable panels take place, each groove of guide having two inner faces, parallel, and a bottom wall, characterized in that at least one of the panels is provided, on each of the edges of its two lateral sides, intended to take place in the guide grooves, d a raising and sliding tab which comes into contact with at least one of the internal faces of the groove, and whose height under the panel is sufficient for to prevent any contact of it with the profile.

The present invention also relates to the fact that the end of at least one inner face of at least one of the grooves will be provided with a rib extending over at least part of the groove. length of the profile. This rib makes it possible to form, with the bottom of the throat, a buffer tank.

The portion of this tongue, raising and sliding, located under a panel, will have a thickness greater than the height of the rib, which is associated with it.

Of course, the total thickness of this tongue of raising and sliding, integral with its movable panel, will be lower, at the entrance of the selected groove of the arch profile, so that the panel can be easily introduced laterally between each pair of poles of the structure.

This tongue enhancement and sliding, will necessarily be formed of a flexible material to fit with its panel variable curvature of the arch and have a good coefficient of sliding, relative to the material constituting the profile.

Moreover, in order to reduce friction, this flexible tongue of raising and sliding, will have a contact surface with the profile that can be reduced relative to its total base area.

It will be further noted that, depending on the nature of the structure to be produced, it may be advantageous to make the ridge of an element, using panels of different thicknesses depending on the desired level of insulation, and this, without being forced to use another profile.

This represents savings in the production of profiles, their storage and distribution.

Another object of the present invention is therefore to propose a reversible type profile which makes it possible to realize the ridge panels of the structure of different thicknesses, using a single profile.

The present invention thus relates to a structure of the aforementioned type, wherein the upper and lower grooves have different heights and have a rib on each end of their inner faces.

To ensure complete reversibility, the upper and lower faces of the profile will have means for ensuring the maintenance of a connecting element between the arch formed by the profile and a hoop disposed therebelow.

The profile will preferably comprise a central core in which the guide grooves will be constituted by parallel fins, superimposed, perpendicular to the plane of the hoop. Preferably, the groove, whose inner face is provided with a rib, will be a lower groove.

The following will be described by way of non-limiting examples, various embodiments of the present invention, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
  • The Figures 1a and 1b are perspective views of an example of a cover structure, respectively in the closed and open position, as usually used.
  • The figure 2 is a cross-sectional view of an embodiment of the profile 7 according to the invention.
  • The figure 3 is a partial cross-sectional view of a lower guide groove of a profile 7, according to the invention, wherein a movable panel 18 is slidably mounted.
  • The figure 4 is a partial cross sectional view of an alternative embodiment of a profile 7, according to the invention.
  • The figure 5 is a cross-sectional view of another alternative embodiment of a profile 7, according to the invention.

As an illustration, we have Figures 1a and 1b , a structure 1 which covers a pool, respectively in the closed position and in the open position. This structure consists of three vaults, namely a fixed vault 3a, a mobile vault 3b coming, in the open position, to fit under the vault 3a and a third vault 3c, embedded in the vault 3b.

The framework of each of these vaults is of the same type, that is to say that it consists of a series of arches 5 which are distant and which define a number of elements.

Thus the vault 3a has four elements while the vaults 3b and 3c have three elements.

Each of the arches 5 consists of a profile 7, for example, an extruded aluminum profile, bent, often in one or more parts, and which is ends sometimes in its parts joining the ground, by two vertical zones making it possible to obtain more height available inside the structure, on its lateral sides.

The section of this section 7 is represented on the figure 2 for exemple. It thus consists of a central core 8 of tubular overall shape, the center of which receives a sheath 9 (shown in dotted lines in the drawing) which is intended in particular to ensure the fixing of this arch 5 with the ground and to ensure the linking the portions of the arches together when these arches are made of several parts. Each of the two lateral faces, of the web 8 of the section 7, comprises four superimposed wings, namely an outer wing 11, an inner wing 12 and two central wings 13. The outer wing 11 and the central wing 13, which are adjacent, define between them, an upper guide groove 15. Similarly, the inner flange 12 defines with the central flange 13 adjacent thereto, a lower guide groove 15 '. The upper groove 15 is intended to receive the ridge panel of the element, which consists of a panel 16 of great thickness which is fixed with respect to the section 7.

The panels 16 may be made of any plastic material, deformable, and, preferably, transparent or translucent and in particular a polycarbonate resin generally honeycomb structure. The throat lower guide 15 ', in turn, is intended to receive vertically sliding lifting panels 18 which, as shown in FIG. figure 1a , are located on both sides of the arches and descend in this case to the ground.

We have shown on the figure 3 which is made on an enlarged scale, the lower guide groove 15 '. The end of the lower inner walls of the groove 15 'is provided with a rib 19, of thickness e, which extends over the entire length of the profile 7. This rib 19 makes it possible to form inside grooves of 15 'guiding, a kind of buffer tank 20, intended to receive, to collect, external runoff and promote their flow to the base of the arches.

It has been noted here that the flow of the run-off is of course no problem for those parts of the profile which have a steep slope, but that this is not the case for those parts of the profile which have a low slope. slope. The ribs 19, constituting a kind of buffer tank 20 at the inner end of the flanges 12 of the section 7 or flanges 11 of the section 7 used in reversibility, allow temporary storage of runoff water, for the sufficient time required for their operation. flow.

It was thus found that these ribs prevented any passage of these waters inside the structure.

According to the invention - as shown on Figures 2 and 3 the sliding panels 18 do not bear directly on the wings 12 and 13 of the section 7.

The latter are made of a material, usually a plastic material that has both good flexibility, good hardness and a low coefficient of friction with respect to the profile 7. This flexible tongue enhancement and sliding 22 comprises a slot 24 in which is embedded for example by force - could also be provided in particular a fixing by gluing, screwing or other - the 2 sides of the panel 18.

Preferably, it will be ensured that the base 23 of the flexible raising and sliding tongue 22 which comes into contact with the internal face of the grooves 15 'is reduced while providing good support, so as to minimize the coefficient of friction. .

The thickness E of the portion of this tongue 22, located under the panel, will be sufficient so that the sliding panel 18 can not come into contact with the rib 19 of the profile 7.

It will be understood, of course, that the total height H of this tongue 22 flexible and integral with its panel 18, will be less than that of the inlet of the grooves 15 'which receive said panel 18, in order to be easily introduced laterally into them.

The invention is particularly interesting insofar as it avoids any scratching of the panel 18, since it can not come into contact with the flanges 12, 13 of the guide grooves 15 '.

Thus, this flexible tongue enhancement and sliding 22 provides two functions, namely: firstly, a function specific to the preservation of the stripes of the sliding panel 18, and secondly, a function to facilitate sliding.

Of course, this tongue 22 may consist of one or more elements that extend continuously over the entire length of the two lateral sides of the sliding panel 18, or on the contrary, it may consist of elements more or less punctual, distributed regularly or not, along said length.

In one embodiment of the invention shown in the figure 4 Upper and lower guide grooves 15 'of different heights h and h ' were made, and the ends of the two inner faces of these grooves were provided with ribs 19. This gives a reversible profile that can be used symmetrically in two positions, namely a position ( figure 4 ) in which the ridge panel 16 will be of a relatively small thickness and a second position - corresponding to a 180 ° rotation of the profile relative to the figure 4 in which this ridge panel will be of greater thickness.

It will also be noted that the width of the base of this flexible extension and sliding tongue 22, associated and integral with the sliding panel 18, will necessarily have a dimension less than the width of the base of the buffer tank 20 to allow the expansion and essential withdrawal to provide the panel 18 in the grooves 15 'of each pair of poles of the structure, or in the grooves 15, when the arch profiles 7 are used in reversibility.

The profiles 7 generally comprise a groove 14 which is disposed on their lower face, that is to say on the side of the smallest radius of bending of the arch 5, and which is intended to receive the heel of a flexible element such as, for example, a plastic broom, a brush, etc. which ensures a function of vertical junction between the arch formed by this profile and a hoop disposed under it. The section 7, in order to be completely reversible, will have in turn, in addition, a second groove 14 'on its upper face, that is to say on the side of the largest radius of bending of the arch.

Such an embodiment allows using a single extrusion die, to obtain a double configuration of the structure.

We have shown on the figure 5 another form of implementation of the profile 7, constituting the arches 5 forming the structure. In this figure, the profile 7 has a solid section of rectangular shape, for example, in the transverse walls of which upper and lower grooves are hollowed out.

These grooves form the grooves 15 and 15 'respectively intended to receive the fixed panels 16 and sliding 18.
