Definitions
- the invention relates to a transport container Packing and transporting frozen foods Food, especially ice cream, with the Generic features of claim 1.
- the well-known transport containers for packaging and Transporting frozen foods have a trough-shaped container, which is generally a has a rectangular footprint. On the tub-shaped container is formed an outwardly bent edge, which in one formed in a lid of the transport container Groove can be inserted to close the transport container with the lid.
- the transport container is from one Plastic, mostly made of foamed polystyrene.
- US 4,990,345 A is a container for storage and for the direct consumption of edible content from the Container known.
- the container approximates one cylindrical shaped container, which by a upright side wall and an upper edge and one to it approximately parallel lower shutter is defined.
- the Container further includes a lid which removes can be and so lies on the upper edge that a Space is formed between the top and the lid becomes.
- a piece of cutlery for consumption in the container included edible content is in the room accommodated.
- the container further includes devices between the top and the lid, which at Separating the lid from the top of a fragrance exude.
- One of the edges and the adjacent one Sidewall is reduced in size to fit in opposite end of another container for stacking to be able to be used.
- An appetizing smell during hot dishes is frozen food odorless, so that an incentive to eat only from the visual presentation of the frozen Food, especially from the serving suggestion of the packed in the transport container, frozen Food runs out.
- the known transport container has the disadvantage that the Presentation of the filled in the container frozen food on the optical perception is limited.
- Another disadvantage is that frozen foods have a neutral smell so that the olfactory senses, which significantly stimulate consumption, are not stimulated.
- the object of the invention is therefore a transport container for packaging and transporting frozen foods Provide food where the incentive to Consumption of the packaged food is enlarged and at which particularly stimulates the sense of smell.
- the task is carried out by a transport container with the Features of claim 1 solved.
- the transport container according to the invention according to claim 1 has the advantage that when opening the transport container Aromas are released that stimulate the sense of smell, so that a consumption impulse is triggered.
- the fragrance containing the aroma substances is on a cling film applied in the form of a lacquer layer.
- the cling film is between the lid and containers arranged.
- the flavors convey that the food is fresh is what leads to appetite stimulation.
- the aromas create a pleasant stimulus that a consumer remembers so that he can buy or consume the food packaged in the shipping container becomes.
- the fragrance room partly with a gas is filled and that the fragrance is the gas of the Enriches the fragrance room with the aroma.
- the fragrance contains an alcoholic in particular ethanol-containing liquid in which the flavoring agent is dissolved. This makes it versatile applicable fragrance given that even at deep Temperatures evaporated in sufficient quantities and that The quality of the frozen food is not impaired.
- one with the flavorings enriched gas has an odor that at least in the essentially with the type or type of food matches. This at least allows the food subjectively represented as particularly fresh and it also stimulates the appetite for the food.
- the fragrance space is advantageously characterized by a Food surface, the ceiling and the side walls of the container limited. This way, the can anyway filling reasons above the food free space can be used as a fragrance room, so that the invention can be used universally.
- the fragrance is advantageously on the surface of the food applied. This leaves the smell for the customer from the food so that the smell is directly associated with the food. It is also advantageous that the food is a Has top layer through which penetration of the Fragrance in the food at least essentially is prevented. This gives the scent effect that the Opening of the transport container occurs even after one longer storage time to the full extent.
- the cover has a for generating Negative pressure in the transport container a directional valve on, through which gas flows out of the transport container can. Due to the negative pressure generated in the Frozen food remaining in the transport container hermetically sealed, so that the quality of the Preserve food during further storage remains.
- the reduced pressure creates a reduced vapor pressure resulting from the evaporation of the fragrance or the flavoring relieved. This will make that in the Transport container remaining gas with the flavorings enriched without gas from the transport container emerges, which on the one hand creates the scent when opening the Transport container would be weakened and the other Flavors would be distributed in the freezer that are on other foods, which is not desirable.
- the opening of the transport container with a Hiss accompanied by the entry of air into the space filled with negative pressure is created, what a Buyers an additional signal for the freshness of the Represents food.
- the fragrance room in one Sidewall of the container is formed. This allows a greater amount of fragrance can be provided without the quality of the food is impaired.
- an impermeable one Fresh-keeping closure provided that at least the Perfume room closes. This allows the fragrance from the food using the freshness seal be separated so that an impairment of the Food through the aroma substances of the fragrance prolonged storage is excluded.
- the freshness seal through Opening the lid is opened. This unfolds the smell effect when you first open the Transport container, so that the consumer in a more advantageous Way can be surprised. It is advantageous that the freshness seal is formed by a protective film that closes the fragrance room and that Seals food additionally. This allows the Quality of the food over a longer period can be obtained, and the fragrance effect can of the fresh seal formed from the freshness seal unfold.
- Embodiment is the container with a Cling film z. B. closed by welding, being microcapsules absorb the fragrance.
- the microcapsules are in the Edge area of the cling film, the container or the Cover are located so that the microcapsules when removed the lid or when removing the cling film be opened so that the fragrance escapes.
- Fig. 1 does not show a sectional view Example of a transport container according to the invention 1.
- the Transport container 1 is used for packaging and transportation of frozen foods, especially ice cream. However, the transport container 1 is also suitable for others Use cases.

- the Cover 3 After closing the transport container 1, the Cover 3, the recesses 19a to 19d, so that in particular the enrichment chambers 21a to 21d are sealed.
- a gas is initially contained, at least partly consists of fresh air.
- Throttling occurs over a longer period of time, e.g. B. can be on the order of an hour to one Enrichment of the in the enrichment chambers 21a to 21d contained gas.
- the next time you open the Transport container 1 by pulling the lid 3 from the Container 2 becomes the enrichment chambers 21a to 21d opened, whereby the fragrance effect is achieved again.
- the amount of fragrance 18 that is in the Recesses 19a to 19d below the throttle sections 20a to 20d can be specified, how often the fragrance effect is repeatable.
- the fragrance 18 can be achieved that the fragrance effect at least approximately even with the number of Openings of the transport container 1 decreases, causing the Consumers are encouraged to consume the food before a loss of quality occurs.
- the throttle sections 20a to 20d also prevents z. B. when the transport container tips over 1 with the lid removed 3 liquid fragrance 18 from the Transport container 1 runs out.
- Fig. 4 shows a sectional view Transport container 1 not according to the invention, which has an exemplary directional valve 23.
- the directional valve 23 can in particular also in an inventive Transport container 1 according to FIGS. 1 and 5 are used.
- this is on parts 18a to 18d divided fragrance 18 on the surface 19 of the Food 9 applied.
- Food 9 is included up to a level below section 4 lies, filled in the container 2.
- the lid 3 of the Transport container 1 has an elastically bendable Cover plate 22, in the middle of which a directional valve 23 is provided.
- the directional valve 23 has a spring 24 on the one ball 25 against the sealing surface 26 which in a recess 27 of the directional valve 23 is formed is acted upon.
- Between the surface 19 of the Food 9, the lid 3 and the side walls 5, 6 is an interior 28 formed in this Embodiment with the fragrance room 11 matches.
- the directional valve 23 enables one Outflow of gas from the interior 28, being a Backflow is prevented.
- the result in the interior 28 prevailing negative pressure a hermetic seal of the Food 9 so that the quality of the food 9 is preserved over a longer period of time.
- Vapor pressure is reduced, causing the evaporation of the Fragrance or flavoring is accelerated.
- Fig. 5 shows a sectional view of the Transport container 1 according to a third Embodiment.
- the container 2 is through a cling film 29 which, for example, consists of a Plastic material or aluminum is sealed.
- the Sealing is preferably done in that the Cling film 29, for example on a circumferential one Weld 30 welded to the edge 14 of the container 2 is.
- Between the cling film 29 and the lid 3 is in this embodiment Fragrance room 11.
- Fig. 6 shows section VI in Fig. 5 in one enlarged view. It can be seen that the Fragrance 18 in one on the inside of the lid 3 provided paint layer 31 or in one on the Paint layer provided on the outside of the cling film 29 32 is located. Both paint layers 31 and 32 can also be used to be available. The fragrance 18 is preferred before the application of the lacquer layer 31 or 32 in the lacquer loosened and the paint is removed, for example, by a spray or dipping on the surface of the lid or the Cling film 29 applied and dried.
- the container 2 with the lid 3 After this Closing the container 2 with the lid 3 accumulates the air in the fragrance room 11 with the Fragrance 18 so that when opening the lid 3 a Fragrance cloud is released, which the consumer for example on the flavor of the in the Container 2 filled ice cream indicates.
- the Lacquer layer 32 can in principle also on the Bottom of the cling film 29 are, where then a fragrance space between that in the container 2 filled food 9 and the cling film 29 with enriches the fragrance. When removing the Cling film 29 then becomes a corresponding fragrance cloud released.
- FIGS. 7 and 8 show section VII in FIG. 5 in an enlarged view corresponding to two modified embodiments.
- the Fragrance 18 not directly in a lacquer layer, but is encapsulated in microcapsules 33.
- a layer of paint 34, in which the microcapsules 33 are embedded, is in that shown in Fig. 7 Embodiment on the underside of the cling film 29 and in the embodiment shown in FIG. 8 on the top of the cling film 29.
- Die Cling film 29 is shown in FIGS. 7 and 8 edge region shown preferably with the container 2 connected by welding.
- the microcapsules 33 burst at least partially and put what is in it Fragrance 18 free. This effect occurs with the one in FIG. 8 illustrated embodiment already when the lid 3 is removed from the container 2. Through the Microencapsulation of the fragrance 18 is achieved that the Fragrance 18 until the lid 3 or the opening Cling film 29 is preserved and only then is released at short notice if the consumer relies on the Want to access food 9.
- the microcapsules 33 with the inside embedded fragrance 18 can be produced.
- the Flavoring of the fragrance 18 can be in a suitable Solvents, for example an alcohol, while the wall of the microcapsules 33 made of one material exists that for both the flavor and for its Solvent is impenetrable.
- the microcapsules 33 are then still in liquid consistency dispersed paint.
- the Lacquer layer 34 z. B. by diving or spraying on the Cling film 29, on the edge area 14 of the container 2 or applied the edge region of the lid 3.
