- the present invention is remarkable in that it comprises a rocker 5 capable of receiving pulses generated alternately by the first and second escape wheels 3 and 4 as the figures accompanying this description clearly show. So completely general fact, these figures make it obvious that the flip-flop 5, in turn, transmits the pulses received on the plate 2 to drive it in rotation so as to maintain the oscillations of the balance-spring fixed to this plate 2. The same figures also make it apparent that the rocker is arranged to block alternately the first and second escape wheels 3 and 4, this after each pulse has been transmitted to plate 2.

- first and second housings 7 and 9 of the rocker 5 are connected by an edge 14 having a circular configuration whose radius of curvature R1 passes through the axis 15 of the shaft 6 which supports the rocker 5.
- the teeth of the first and second wheels 3 and 4 each have a front flank 16 defined as facing in the respective direction of advance of each of the wheels.
- Each front flank 16 comprises a first curved top cut 17, called blocking face, the radius of which curvature R2 is roughly the same as the radius of curvature R1 from edge 14 connecting the first and second housings 7 and 9 of the scale 5.
- each front flank 16 also includes a second cutout 18, in an arc, called a pulse face, this second cut 18 following the first cut 17.
- this impulse face 18 comes to bear against a defined edge 19 as being the intersection of the edge 14 of the rocker 5 and one of the housings 7 and 9 of the same rocker, in this case the housing 9.
- This support causes the rocker 5 in rotation in the direction of arrow B and, consequently, causes the plate 2 in the direction of arrow E. The impulse is thus given to the balance-spring.
- a first execution consists in providing the first and second vertices of the rocker 5 of the first and, respectively, of the second horns 21 and 22 as all the figures show this, and in particular FIG. 8.
- the first horn 21 abuts against the rear flank 23 of a tooth 24 of the first wheel 3 as the shows Figure 1.
- the second horn 22 abuts against the rear flank a tooth 10 of the second wheel 4 as seen in Figures 3 and 8.
- the rear flank 23 of the teeth in question is defined as turning its back on the respective direction of advance of each wheel.
- a second execution consists in limiting the execution of the flip-flop 5 by means of two pins 25 and 26 inserted in the plate of the timepiece as is shown in dotted lines in FIG. 8. It will then be understood that the horns 21 and 22 equipping the scale 5 are no longer necessary and can be removed. At this moment the first and second vertices of rocker 5 could end according to the dotted lines 35, respectively 36 which could be an extension of the edge in an arc 14 connecting the housings 7 and 9.
- the rocker 5 continues its race in the direction of the arrow B, driven it is by the plate 2. At this moment the tooth 13 of the plate is fully engaged between the two teeth 11 and 12 of the rocker. Tooth 10 of the second escape wheel has entered the housing 9 of the rocker and the impulse phase 18 of tooth 10 comes into contact with the edge 19 of the scale.
- the escape wheel 4 is then driven in the direction of arrow F via the escape wheel 3 which turns in the direction of the arrow G driven as it is in turn by the cog whose last element 30 has been shown in FIG. 1. It is a pulse phase which throws the platform in the direction of arrow E and turns the rocker in the direction of arrow B until this rocker meets the blocking face of a tooth of the first escape wheel.
- the impulse is communicated to the plate 2 by a intermediate piece, called here flip-flop 5.
- the anchor escapement has one drawback, however, namely the retraction of the escape wheel at moment of release, this recoil having the disadvantage of braking the pendulum and therefore to consume energy.
- the radius of curvature R1 of the edge 14 of the rocker 5 is the same that the radius of curvature R2 of the first cut 17 of the tooth 8 of the wheel 3 (see Figures 7 and 8).
