Abstract
Eine Vorrichtung zum Kühlen einer Materialbahn (5), insbesondere einer bedruckten Papierbahn, wobei die Vorrichtung eine Kühlwalze (9,13,15,16,17) umfasst welche von der einem Bahnpfad bewegten Materialbahn teilweise umschlungen wird, zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Vorrichtung eine der Kühlwalze (9,13,15,16,17) vorgeordnete oder nachgeordnete Walze (9,13,15,16,17) umfasst, welche von der Materialbahn teilweise umschlungen wird und welche derart zu der Kühlwalze beabstandet angeordnet ist, dass die Materialbahn von der Kühlwalze zu der vorgeordneten oder nachgeordneten Walze derart bewegt wird, dass der Bahnpfad (14) im Wesentlichen mäanderförmig verläuft. An apparatus for cooling a material web (5), in particular a printed paper web, wherein the apparatus comprises a cooling roller (9, 13, 15, 16, 17) which is partially wrapped by the material web moved along a web path, is characterized in that the Device comprises one of the cooling roller (9,13,15,16,17) upstream or downstream roller (9,13,15,16,17), which is partially wrapped by the material web and which is arranged so spaced from the cooling roller, that the web is moved from the chill roll to the upstream or downstream roll such that the web path (14) is substantially meandering.
