Wasserzeichen werden erzeugt, indem durch entsprechende Verfahren bei der Papierherstellung ein gezielt unterschiedlicher Aufbau des Papierkörpers bzgl. der Materialstärke und/oder Materialdichte erreicht wird.
Durch den unterschiedlichen Aufbau, d.h. durch die erreichte unterschiedliche Lichtdurchlässigkeit des Materials, lassen sich im Papier gewünschte Motive (z.B. Porträts) herstellen. Nachteilig ist dabei, dass diese Motive erst deutlich sichtbar werden, wenn das Papier auf einen Lichttisch gelegt oder gegen Tageslicht gehalten wird. Claims (6)
