Claims (17)
- Abgaskrümmer mit mehreren Abgasleitungen (2), die eingangsseitig zum Anschluß an einen Motorblock einer Brennkraftmaschine vorgesehen sind und ausgangsseitig an einem gemeinsamen Adapter (4) angeschlossen sind, der zum Anschluß des Abgaskrümmers (1) an eine gemeinsame Abgashauptleitung vorgesehen ist,
wobei Ausgangsenden (3) der Abgasleitungen (2) im Adapter (4) nebeneinander angeordnet und von einer Wand (5) des Adapters (4) vollständig umfaßt sind,
wobei bei jedem Ausgangsende (3) ein an die Wand (5) angrenzender Öffnungsrandabschnitt (9) an der Wand (5) anliegt, daran befestigt und gegenüber dieser abgedichtet ist,
wobei im Adapter (4) jeweils zwischen zwei benachbarten Ausgangsenden (3) ein Steg (6) angeordnet ist, an dem einerseits ein daran angrenzender Öffnungsrandabschnitt (8) des einen Ausgangsendes (3) und andererseits ein daran angrenzender Öffnungsrandabschnitt (8) des anderen Ausgangsendes (3) anliegt, daran befestigt und gegenüber diesem abgedichtet ist. - Abgaskrümmer nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß jeder Steg (6) an der Wand (5) befestigt ist. - Abgaskrümmer nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stege (6) und die Wand (5) als einteiliges Bauteil ausgebildet sind. - Abgaskrümmer nach Anspruch 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bauteil als Edelstahl-Feingußteil ausgebildet ist. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß alle Stege (6) miteinander verbunden sind. - Abgaskrümmer nach Anspruch 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stege (6) sternförmig angeordnet sind und sich jeweils bis zur Wand (5) erstrecken. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stege (6) an die daran anliegenden Öffnungsrandabschnitte (8) angeschweißt sind. - Abgaskrümmer nach Anspruch 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Stege (6) in Strömungsrichtung (12) über die daran anliegenden Öffnungsrandabschnitte (8) vorstehen und daß die Schweißverbindung zwischen Steg (6) und daran anliegenden Öffnungsrandabschnitten (8) jeweils durch eine Kehlnaht (10) gebildet ist. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 2 bis 8,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wand (5) an die daran anliegenden Öffnungsrandabschnitte (9) angeschweißt ist. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abgasleitungen (2) im Bereich ihrer Ausgangsenden (3) parallel zueinander ausgerichtet sind. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abgasleitungen (2) im Bereich ihrer Ausgangsenden (3) parallel zu einem Austrittsquerschnitt des Adapters (4) ausgerichtet sind, aus dem das Abgas in die anzuschließende Abgashauptleitung eintritt. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Wand (5) kreiszylindrisch ausgebildet ist. - Abgaskrümmer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an die Wand (5) ein Flansch angeformt ist. - Verfahren zum Herstellen eines aus mehreren Abgasleitungen (2) zusammengebauten Abgaskrümmers (1),
mit folgenden Schritten:A: Herstellen eines Adapters (4) mit einer Wand (5) und daran angeordneten Stegen (6), wobei jeweils zwischen benachbarten Stegen (6) und einem dazwischen angeordneten Wandabschnitt eine Aufnahme (7) für ein Ausgangsende (3) einer Abgasleitung (2) ausgebildet ist, und
Herstellen von mehreren Abgasleitungen (2) deren Ausgangsenden (3) komplementär zu den Aufnahmen (7) ausgebildet sind,B: Einstecken der Ausgangsenden (3) in die Aufnahmen (7),C: Anschweißen der Ausgangsenden (3) an die Stege (6) und an die Wand (5). - Verfahren nach Anspruch 14,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schweißnaht (10) bei jedem Öffnungsrand (11) geschlossen umlaufend ausgeführt ist. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 14 oder 15,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schweißnaht als Kehlnaht (10) ausgebildet ist. - Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 14 bis 16,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Adapter (4) als Edelstahl-Feingußteil hergestellt ist.
