Definitions
- the invention relates to a thermal insulation profile for Fire protection constructions for attachment between two in Distance between metal profiles, in particular for facades, windows and doors.
- DE 44 43 762 A1 is a multi-part insulating strip known to meet the above requirements between two metal profiles can be used.
- the Plastic strip is along the longitudinal edges, i.e. in the widened areas, cut out in sections. In these Recesses are corresponding sections of the Plastic bar bridging metal bar used. in the Fire takes over after the failure of the plastic areas the bridging metal bar over the entire length Holder function. In order to nevertheless conduct heat between the to minimize metal profiles arranged inside and outside, the metal bar is made of a material with reduced Thermal conductivity trained.
- glass fiber reinforcements are known in the art in a thermal insulation strip designed in the manner described are made of plastic.
- Such Glass fiber reinforcements are expensive, on the one hand, and on the other hand arise during the formation of a plastic insulation strip Machinability problems caused by cutting Method.
- the tools used wear out due to the resistant glass fiber reinforcements very quickly, so that the economics of making such a Thermal insulation strip made of plastic is significantly reduced.
- DE 34 38 861 A1 relates to a thermal insulation profile for Fire protection structures that between the metal profiles conventional insulating bars arranged and in addition at least one of the isolating webs or in the Insulating webs has an integrated bridging element.
- the Bridging links can be spaced apart arranged short pieces exist. Alternatively, the Bridging links but also in one piece on the length of the Go through composite profile.
- the insulating bars consist of a material with low thermal conductivity and the Bridging elements consist of a non-flammable Material.
- the invention has for its object a thermal insulation profile to propose for fire protection constructions that simple is constructed and easy to assemble.
- the invention is based on the idea of a thermal insulation profile for mounting between two at a distance from each other arranged metal profiles so that the strip-shaped thermal insulation profile from a plurality of first Profile sections and at least a second Profile section exists.
- the first profile sections exist made of a material with low thermal conductivity, especially plastic, while the at least one second profile section made of a non-combustible material exists or contains a non-combustible material.
- the Arrangement of the first and second profile sections to each other takes the form that this in the longitudinal direction of the Thermal insulation profile arranged to each other and with each other are connected. In other words, one strip-shaped thermal insulation profile a sequence of first and second profile sections provided in the longitudinal direction.
- connection between the first profile sections and second profile sections can be done by at least one continuous band is provided that in The longitudinal direction of the thermal insulation profile extends and the first and connects the second profile sections together.
- connection between the first and second Profile sections with the help of mounting tabs.
- every second profile section has two Fastening tabs that extend from the longitudinal end faces of the second profile section starting in the longitudinal direction extend and in appropriately shaped receiving areas of the first profile sections are attachable.
- this can at least a longitudinal band made of metal and Have recesses, preferably in the longitudinal direction arranged holes. This measure will, without the desired holding function to impair the heat conduction reduced in both the longitudinal and transverse directions of the insulation strip.
- this is at least one tape a plastic tape or a Fiberglass tape.
- these two alternative embodiments use a lower material for each band Thermal conductivity so that the thermal insulation profile can be optimized thermally. Both that Glass fiber tape as well as the plastic tape must be in the Fire do not take on strength functions, as this completely from the second profile sections from a not flammable material.
- intumescent material there is at least one band made of intumescent material.
- Intumescent material has a heat-consuming effect and reacts to the greatly increased in the event of fire Temperatures with foaming.
- a tape Intumescent material can therefore be used in the event of a fire Absorb heat and secondly, depending on the arrangement of the Thermal insulation profile, for example a gap between the Seal metal profiles or one of thermal insulation profiles foam out the limited chamber.
- the thermal insulation profile is only one continuous band on one long side of the thermal insulation profile Mistake.
- a single band can be sufficient Grant strength so that the thermal insulation profile consisting of the sequence of first and second profile sections, in corresponding receiving sections of the metal profiles can be inserted without the individual band connected profile sections separate from each other.
- the tape or tapes can be on one long side of the Thermal insulation profile may be provided overlying or in a Be integrated along the length of the thermal insulation profile.
