Abstract

Bügeltischplatte aus einem Verbundmaterial aus Kunststoff mit einem Verschluss der Schnittkanten, wobei zum Verschluss der Schnittkante ein Band um diese gelegt und mit dem Verbundmaterial vernäht wird.

Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Bügeltischplatte aus einem Verbundmaterial aus Kunststoff mit einem Verschluss der Schnittkanten.
Randverschlüsse bei Verbundplatten erfolgen in aller Regel über ein U-förmiges Kunststoffprofil, das mittels eines Erwärmungsvorganges über den Randbereich der Verbundplatte geschrumpft wird. Dieses Verfahren ist nur bei gewissen Materialkombinationen und/oder bei nicht zu engen Radien anwendbar. Weiter ist es bekannt, derartige Verbundplatten mit einem Klebeband zu verschließen. Auch hier gibt es Materialkombinationen, auf denen eine dauerhafte Haftung eines Klebebandes nicht gewährleistet ist.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, für eine Bügeltischplatte aus einem Kunststoffverbundmaterial einen Verschluss der Schnittkanten zu schaffen, der kostengünstig herzustellen ist; bei jeder Materialkombination sicher hält, Temperaturschwankungen leicht ausgleicht und auch bei engen Radien anwendbar ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird mit den kennzeichnenden Merkmalen des Anspruches 1 gelöst. Dadurch, dass die Schnittkante mit einem Band umnäht wird, ist die Materialkombination sekundär, es muss lediglich darauf geachtet werden, dass das Material der Verbundplatte ein Nähen zulässt. Dabei kann über die Wahl der Fadenspannung jede Temperaturschwankung der Materialien untereinander ausgeglichen werden und enge Radien bereiten keine Probleme.
Dabei bietet sich insbesondere bei einer Bügeltischplatte ein Gewebeband an, das zum Kantenschutz des Bügeltischbezuges zusätzlich mit einer Schaumstoffunterlage versehen sein kann.
In weiterer Ausgestaltung der Erfindung besteht das zum Verschluss der Schnittkante genutzte Material aus der den Bügeltischbezug unterstützenden Polsterung, die an den Schnittkanten umgelegt und mit dem Verbundmaterial der Bügeltischplatte vernäht ist. Auch bei dieser Ausführungsform ist es zweckmäßig, den Bereich der Schnittkante zusätzlich mit einem Gewebeband zu verstärken. Dieses Gewebeband wird zusammen mit der Polsterung vernäht.
Diese Ausführungsform hat den besonderen Vorteil, dass beim Bügeln und insbesondere beim Wechseln des Bügeltischbezuges die Polsterung nicht mehr verrutschen kann und somit zuverlässig die lästige Faltenbildung des Bügeltischbezuges verhindert wird. Das Ergebnis ist ein leichteres Bügeln ohne das Risiko von sich durchdrückenden Bügeltischbezugfalten.
Eine weitere allgemeine Qualitätsverbesserung auch in Bezug auf bessere Bügelergebnisse wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Polsterung gegen den Bügeltischbezug mit einer dampfdichten Schicht versehen ist. Diese dampfdichte Schicht wird besonders kostengünstig durch ein Bedruckungsverfahren aufgebracht.
Zwei Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden im folgenden anhand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

Der in Figur 1 gezeigte Bügeltisch besitzt ein klappbares Fußgestell 1, welches eine Bügeltischplatte 2 trägt, die aus einem Verbundmaterial aus Kunststoff gefertigt ist. Die Schnittkanten 3 der Bügeltischplatte 2 sind zumindest teilweise offen. Dies trifft sowohl für Stegplatten als auch für Wabenverbundplatten zu. Diese Schnittkanten 3 sind mit einem Gewebeband 4 umnäht. Die Naht 5 liegt beidseitig und wird zweckmäßigerweise mit einer erhitzten Nadel durchgeführt.
In Figur 3 ist eine Altemativlösung dargestellt. Die Bügeltischplatte 2 und deren Schnittkante 3 ist dabei mit einer Polsterung 6 abgedeckt. Diese Polsterung 6 wird im Bereich 7 der Schnittkante 3 von einem Gewebeband 8 umfasst und en block über die Naht 9 mit der Bügeltischplatte 2 verbunden. Die Polsterung 6 ist an ihrer Oberseite über ein Bedruckungsverfahren mit einer dampfdichten Schicht 10 (wegen des besseren Verständnisses zeichnerisch getrennt dargestellt) versehen. Mit 11 ist der Bügeltischbezug bezeichnet.

Claims (7)

  1. Bügeltischplatte (2) aus einem Verbundmaterial aus Kunststoff mit einem Verschluss der Schnittkanten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zum Verschluss genutzte Material um die Schnittkante (3) gelegt und mit dem Verbundmaterial vemäht ist.
  2. Bügeltischplatte (2) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Material aus einem Gewebeband (4) besteht.
  3. Bügeltischplatte (2) nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Gewebeband (4) mit einer Schaumstoffunterlage versehen ist.
  4. Bügeltischplatte (2) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das zum Verschluss genutzte Material ein einen Bügeltischbezug (11) unterstützende Polsterung (6) ist, die nach unten um die Schnittkante (3) umgelegt und mit dem Verbundmaterial beidseitig vernäht ist.
  5. Bügeltischplatte (2) nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Bereich der Schnittkante (3) zusätzlich ein Gewebeband (8) mitvemäht ist.
  6. Bügeltischplatte (2) nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polsterung (6) gegen den Bügeltischbezug (11) mit einer dampfdichten Schicht (10) versehen ist.
  7. Bügeltischplatte (2) nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die dampfdichte Schicht (10) durch ein Bedruckungsverfahren aufgebracht ist.
