Claims (12)
- Elément d'assemblage destiné à être disposé sur une surface de support avec d'autres éléments analogues de manière à former un ensemble recouvrant au moins partiellement cette surface de support (P), par exemple à la manière d'un carrelage, l'élément comprenant deux côtés adjacents (16, 16B) dits "côtés mâles", qui sont pourvus d'une bavette de raccordement (20) et deux autres côtés adjacents (18, 18A) dits "côtés femelles", un côté mâle d'un élément d'assemblage étant destiné à coopérer avec un côté femelle d'un élément d'assemblage analogue pour assembler lesdits éléments,
caractérisé en ce que l'élément comporte une plaque de décor et d'assemblage (10, 10A, 10B) qui est réalisée en une seule pièce et dont les bords forment lesdits côtés mâle et femelle, cette plaque présentant une face apparente (12, 12A, 12B) sensiblement plane qui est destinée à être apparente lorsque l'élément est disposé sur la surface de support (P) en étant assemblé avec d'autres éléments analogues, en ce que la bavette de raccordement (20) de chaque côté mâle (16, 16B) est destinée à être disposée contre la surface de support (P), est reliée à la face apparente par un ressaut (22), et présente un bossage (24), qui est situé entre le ressaut (22) et l'extrémité libre (26) de la bavette (20) et qui s'étend sensiblement parallèlement au bord (16) de la plaque équipé de cette bavette (20), et en ce que chaque côté femelle (18, 18A) présente une extrémité libre (28) qui est reliée à la face apparente (12A) par un ressaut (30), un espace de raccordement (32) apte à contenir le bossage (24) de la bavette (20) d'un côté mâle (16, 16B) d'un élément d'assemblage voisin analogue étant ménagé en creux sous la plaque de décor et d'assemblage (10, 10A, 10B) au voisinage de ce ressaut (30). - Elément d'assemblage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que, pour chaque côté femelle (18, 18A), l'espace de raccordement (32) est apte à contenir le bossage (24) de la bavette (20) d'un côté mâle (16, 16B) d'un élément d'assemblage voisin analogue lorsque ledit côté femelle (18, 18A) est disposé sur cette bavette (20), tout en préservant, entre ce bossage (24) et la zone de raccordement du ressaut (30) du côté femelle (18A) à la face apparente (12A), un volume d'étanchéité apte à contenir un bourrelet de pâte d'étanchéité (34) telle que du mastic.
- Elément d'assemblage selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que, pour chaque côté mâle (16, 16B), le bossage (24) présente une rampe (36) qui est inclinée vers le ressaut (22) de raccordement de la bavette (20) à la face apparente (12B).
- Elément d'assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins l'un des ressauts (22, 30) est formé en contre-dépouille.
- Elément d'assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que chaque bavette (20) présente une bande plate (38), qui est située entre le bossage (24) de cette bavette et le ressaut (22) par lequel elle est reliée à la face apparente (12B) et qui est destinée à être en contact avec la surface de support (P).
- Elément d'assemblage selon la revendication 5, caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité libre (28) de chaque côté femelle (18, 18A) présente une marge plate apte à reposer sur la bande plate (38) de la bavette (20) d'un côté mâle (16. 16B) d'un élément d'assemblage voisin analogue.
- Elément d'assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, caractérisée en ce que l'extrémité libre (26) de chaque bavette (20) comporte une bande d'entretoisement (42) destinée à maintenir la face supérieure du bossage (24) à distance de la surface de support (P).
- Elément d'assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, caractérisé en ce qu'un volume creux (44) est ménagé sous le bossage (24) de chaque bavette (20), ce volume étant apte à contenir un bourrelet de pâte telle qu'une pâte (46) de collage ou d'étanchéité.
- Elément d'assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8, caractérisé en ce que la plaque de décor et d'assemblage (10, 10A, 10B) est réalisée par thermoformage à partir d'une feuille de matériau thermoplastique.
- Elément d'assemblage selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte, en outre, une plaque inférieure (50, 50A, 50B), qui est disposée sous la face apparente (12A, 12B) de la plaque de décor et d'assemblage (10, 10A, 10B) et qui présente une épaisseur maximale sensiblement égale à la hauteur maximale des ressauts de cette dernière.
- Elément d'assemblage selon la revendication 10, caractérisé en ce que la face apparente (12, 12A, 12B) de la plaque de décor et d'assemblage (10, 10A,10B) présente des rainures (14) simulant des joints entre des carreaux de carrelage, lesdites rainures formant des reliefs sous la face apparente, et en ce que la plaque inférieure (50, 50A, 50B) est formée en une seule pièce et présente des rainures (52) adaptées à loger ces reliefs.
- Elément d'assemblage selon la revendication 11, caractérisé en ce que la plaque inférieure (50, 50A, 50B) est réalisée en un matériau du type polystyrène expansé et en ce que les rainures (52) de cette plaque sont formées par pression à chaud.
