The infusion bag in the top section(6) has two laterally spaced perforations(8,9) lying to the left and right of the bag's longitudinal axis and which pass through a folded-in corner and middle portion of the top section. The thread(3) to form a loop(3a) is guided by one end through one perforation and by its other end through the second perforation. The loop is laid over the top edge(10) of the infusion bag and both ends(3b,3c) of the thread are guided from below through the loop to form a doubly secured knot. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the sealing of an infusion bag.

Description

The invention relates to an infusion bag, in particular for tea, a headboard with folded corners and a folded over middle part, at the a thread having two free ends is fixed, which is from one side of the Head through a hole to form one on the other side of the headboard arranged loop passed and returned, the two free ends from below through the laid over the top edge of the infusion bag Loop are pulled through and form a knot by tightening. The The invention further relates to a method for closing a head end folded corners and subsequently folded middle part closed Infusion bag, especially for tea, by one preferably at the other End with a label to be provided thread by means of two needles.

It is known to close infusion bags exclusively by a thread. For this purpose, the corners are folded over at the top of the infusion bag and then folded the middle part over the folded corners. This closure is secured by a thread, for its attachment there are several There are possibilities.

In a known embodiment according to German Utility Model 296 13 448 is applied to the head part of the infusion bag by means of a thread attached to separate fastening thread. This connection of the thread end with The infusion bag does not withstand higher loads and is procedurally complex.

In order to provide a simpler thread attachment, it is known from EP 0 807 579 known to provide the folded headboard with two recesses and the To arrange infusion bag so next to a tensioned thread that this in Height of the recesses extends and through each of the recesses one Fishing pin can be passed, which receive the thread and through the Pull recesses through with both ends. The free ends of the be passed through the recesses of the infusion bag thread attached to the label, for example by welding or stapling. adversely Here is that the attachment loose and thus uncertain and the possibility is that unfold the folded portions of the head part, so that the Content of the infusion bag may fall out or a loss of flavor and freshness can occur.

It is also known from EP 0 691 268 a thread closure, in which by a only hole in the head part of the infusion bag a needle is passed, the grasped behind a thread and through the opening to form a Retracts loop, which is then used to form a knot. The disadvantage here is that it is not ensured that the folded corners and the folded over center part of the head part with each other and with the bag through the thread connection is detected and connected by the formed node. The closure is even at high manufacturing precision when folding, punching and not sufficiently safe with the thread guide.

From US-A-2 307 998 a closure of a teabag was finally known, the at its head first at its two corners and then at the middle part was folded over. This refolding is held by one end of a thread, which penetrates only the middle part with a loop and on the Loop opposite side is linked to a node. This Teabag closure is not because of the non-detection of the folded corners dense and has the additional disadvantage that the node is not low mechanical complexity can be produced.

The invention has for its object to provide a secure fixation of the folded parts of a Aufgußbeutels each other and with the bag itself by a thread connection, which can be easily installed with little technical effort at high production speed.

The object is inventively achieved in an infusion bag of the type mentioned in that the bag is arranged holes in the head part has two laterally spaced side by side on the left and right of the longitudinal axis, which each extend through a folded-in corner and the center part of the head part that the yarn under Forming a loop with its one end passed through a hole and with its other end through the second hole, that the loop is placed over the top edge of the infusion bag and passed both ends of the thread from below through the loop to form a double-secured node are. In this case, the loop is preferably formed of cross-superimposed thread parts, with a short and a long thread end is provided, in particular for label attachment to the long end of the thread, and wherein to increase the safety of the node, the short end of the thread in the preferred embodiment in the cross-superimposed thread parts of Loop is arranged below the long end of the thread to the bag wall fitting. By the invention, a secure fixation of the folded corners and folded over the middle part is provided with each other and with the bag, with a simplified production already results from the fact that the comparatively thick and thus difficult to process central longitudinal seam of conventional bags must not be pierced or perforated , The connection itself through the node is doubly secured against loosening by the spaced two holes and the separate passage of the thread ends, so that even if one end of the thread should come loose from the loop, the knot passes through the second end of the thread and the additional looping afforded thereby holds securely.

The procedural solution of the object of the invention is in further development of the above-mentioned known method according to the invention thereby in that the first free end of the thread in a loop over a recess of a holder is placed, that the head part of the infusion bag is inserted into the recess of the holder and the loop of the thread here around the Head edge of the infusion bag sets that the thread then at its free End and at its long, continuous part by two each one folded corner and the middle part of the head part through holes two below the closed part of the loop the infusion bag penetrating needles is detected and the free end and the continuous Part first in a loop and then completely out of the infusion bag pulled out and that the wrap of the thread finally through Train is tightened in particular at its continuous part. Preferably the holder has guide openings for the needles. To pull through the Thread must this at the passing part at the latest before the withdrawal of the Needles are cut off. The continuous part forms such a long Thread end that can be used for label attachment.

The inventive method closes the folded head part of Infusion bag exclusively with the help of the thread, so it is not on one Needed help thread. The thread is passed through the needles through the head section of the Infusion bag pulled or pushed, with the holder guide openings contains for the needles. The needles only lead to a simple movement Piercing the head portion of the infusion bag, so that a simple and fast movement is possible. A previous punching of the head part the infusion bag is dispensable. The bag head goes through the two stitches the right and left of the center securely closed, with the folded corners be fixed. The attachment can be done in a continuous process be carried out in a quiet machine and high volumes. Of the Knot dissolves due to the frictional forces even under low bias, the means easy tightening, not.

The infusion bag 1 shown in Figs. 1a to 1c is shown in FIG. 1c first at its head part 6 by folding over the corners 1a and 1b and then Closed folds of the central part 1c, so that the inside of the chamber located substrate, especially tea, can not escape. Subsequently is the infusion bag 1 according to FIGS. 2a to 5b with a thread closure. 7 provided, the construction of which in particular of Fig. 1b is easily removed. to Formation of the thread closure 7 are in the head part 6 two with lateral Distance juxtaposed left and right of the longitudinal axis of the bag Holes 8 and 9 are formed, each having a folded corner 1a and 1b and the Pass through center part 1c of the head part 6. In order to make this possible, according to FIG. 1c in the head part 6 of the infusion bag 1 with the middle part 1c not yet folded over a total of four recesses provided after folding the middle section 1c in pairs correspond to each other and the equiaxed through Holes 8 and 9 form.

The thread closure 7 also has a thread 3, which forms a Loop 3a with its one end 3b through the one hole 9 and with his the other end 3c is guided through the second hole 8, wherein the loop 3a on the front in the drawing of the bag 1 and the ends 3b and 3c on the back of the bag 1 in the drawing. The loop is over placed the top edge 10 of the infusion bag 1 and the two ends 3b and 3c of the Thread 3 are guided from below through the loop 3a. By putting on a or both ends of the thread, a double-secured node 11 is formed, the corners 1a and 1b and the middle part 1c of the head part 6 in the closed position fixed together and with the infusion bag.

From the drawing is also recognizable that the loop 3a from cross superimposed thread parts is formed, wherein in the cross superimposed yarn parts of the loop the short thread end 3b is arranged adjacent to the bag wall 3c below the long end of the thread.

For the production of the described closure of the infusion bag 1 according to Figs. 2a and 2b with its closed head part 6 in a recess 2a a holder 2 inserted. Previously, via the recess 2a of the holder 2 a Thread 3 has been placed in the form of a loop 3a, the best in Fig. 2b to recognize. The free end 3b of the loop 3a is in this case together with the continuous part 3c of the thread 3 on one side of the recess 2a, whereas the closed part of the loop 3a on the other side of the Recess 2a rests on the holder 2.

As can best be seen from Fig. 2a, the loop 3a is through the head edge of the infusion bag 1 is pressed into the recess 2a, so that she lays around the head edge.

According to Figs. 3a and 3b penetrate two needles 4, which in Figs. 2a and 2b in the Starting position are drawn below the loop 3a in the top of the Infusion bag. They capture with their trained at the bottom Barb 4a (see Fig. 2a) on the one hand the free end 3b and on the other hand the continuous part 3c of the thread 3, as shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b show.

When the needles 4 now according to FIGS. 4a and 4b in the starting position on the one hand take the free end 3b and on the other hand a part of the continuous part 3c of the thread 3 with, as Figs. 4a and 4b demonstrate. While the free end 3b completely out of the head of the Infusion bag 1 has pulled out, due to the withdrawal of the corresponding needle 4 in the continuous part 3c of the thread a loop 3d formed, which lies below the middle part of the loop 3a. This situation is clearly shown in Fig. 4b.

In order now to the drawn in Figs. 5a and 5b complete Looping of the head portion of the infusion bag 1 through the ends of the thread 3rd To arrive, it is still necessary, the continuous part 3c, so long Pull thread end of the thread 3 completely out of the infusion bag 1. This happens, for example, by further transport of the infusion bag 1, so that the remaining part of the continuous part 3 c of the yarn 3 completely through the Loop 3a is pulled through. By applying a certain tensile force on continuous part 3c of the thread 3 finally becomes the wrap tightened, so that the situation shown in Figs. 5a and 5b results.

As is clear from the above explanations of the closing of the head part of Aufgußbeutels 1 shows, is by simple means a wrap around the Infusion bag 1 reached, the liability of the thread 3 is sufficient to a To achieve reliable closure of the infusion bag 1.
