Claims (15)

  1. Modular selection button for operating contact elements comprising
    1 a housing (6);
    2 a toggle (10), a knob (11) or such like as rotatable handle;
    3 a transfer element (4; 5), carrying an axially effective index cam, connected torque-proof to the handle (10; 11) and supported in the housing (6);
    4 limiting devices consisting of stops, which are stationary in relation to, the housing (6) and counter stops which can be turned with the handle (10; 11) to restrict the angle of rotation of the handle (10; 11);
    5 at least one switch tappet (81) supported non-rotatably in the housing (6) and axially movable in relation to the spring devices (82), which tappet interacts towards the front with the index cam via a symmetrically shaped face (86), wherein the index cam and the face (86) are designed in such a way that when a certain angle of rotation is reached vis-à-vis the home position, the transfer element (4; 5) catches on the switch tappet (81);
    characterised in that
    3.1 the transfer element (4; 5) is made disc-shaped and carries on the back (41; 51) axially protruding index-cam elements (42; 52);
    4.1 acting as limiting devices, in the case of locking rotational position in relation to the home position, for the direction of rotation concerned:
    4.1.1.1 with three switch positions: first limiting devices consisting of a first stop (66) in the housing (6) and a first counter stop (14) in the handle (10; 11),
    4.1.1.2 in contrast to two switch positions: second limiting devices consisting of a second stop (68) in the housing (6) and a second counter stop (59) on the transfer element (5);
    4.2 acting as limiting devices, in the case of non-locking rotational position in relation to the home position, for the direction of rotation concerned: fifth limiting devices consisting of a second stop slide (92) to be pushed to lock into the housing (6) and a fourth counter stop (47; 57) on the transfer element (4; 5), wherein in direction of rotation the angular separation between the decisive second stop area (95) of the second stop slide (92) and the fourth counter stop (47; 57) is smaller than the angular separation between the first and the second limiting devices (66, 14; 68, 59) respectively.
  2. Modular selector button for operating contact elements, comprising
    1 a housing (6);
    2 a rotatable handle (2);
    3 a transfer element (4'; 5') carrying an axially effective index cam, connected torque-proof to the handle (2) and supported in the housing (6);
    4 limiting devices consisting of stops which are stationary in relation to the housing (6) and with counter stops that can be turned with the handle (2) to restrict the angle of rotation of the handle (2);
    5 at least one switch tappet (81) supported non-rotatably in the housing (6) and axially movable in relation to the spring devices (82), which tappet interacts towards the front with the index cam via a symmetrically shaped face (86), wherein the index cam and the face (86) are designed in such a way that when a certain angle of rotation is reached vis-à-vis the home position, the transfer element (4'; 5') catches on the switch tappet (81);
    characterised in that
    2.1 the handle consists of a key actuator (2);
    3.1 the transfer element (4'; 5') is shaped like a disc and carries on the back (41; 51) axially protruding index-cam elements (42; 52);
    4.1 acting as limiting devices, in the case of locking rotational position in relation to the home position, for the direction of rotation concerned:
    4.1.2.1 in the case of the key (21) releasable in rotational position: third limiting devices consisting of a third stop (28) stationary vis-à-vis the housing (6) and a third counter stop (48'; 58') on the transfer element (4'; 5').
    4.1.2.2 in contrast to the case of the key (21) being held in the rotational position: fourth limiting devices consisting of a first stop slide (91) to be pushed to lock into the open back of the housing (6) and a fourth counter stop (47; 57) on the transfer element (4'; 5'), wherein in direction of rotation the angular separation between the decisive first stop area (94) of the first stop slide (91) and the fourth counter stop (47; 57) is a little smaller than the angular separation between the third limiting devices (28, 48'; 28, 58');
    4.2 acting as limiting devices, in the case of non-locking rotational position in relation to the home position, for the direction of rotation concerned: fifth limiting devices consisting, instead of the first stop slide (91), of a second stop slide (92) to be pushed to lock into the housing (6) and the fourth counter stop (47; 57) on the transfer element (4'; 5'), wherein in direction of rotation the decisive second stop area (95) of the second stop slide (92) is positioned in front of the first stop area (94) of the first stop slide (91).
  3. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that
    4.1 acting as limiting devices, in the case of locking rotational position in relation to the home position, for the direction of rotation concerned:
    4.1.2 in the case of a key actuator (2) as handle,
    4.1.2.1 and in the case of the key (21) releasable in rotational position: third limiting devices consisting of a third stop (28) stationary in relation to the housing (6) and a third counter stop (48'; 58') on the transfer element (4'; 5'),
    4.1.2.2 in contrast to the case of the key (21) being held in the rotational position: fourth limiting devices consisting of a first stop slide (91) to be pushed to lock into the open back of the housing (6) and a fourth counter stop (47; 57) on the transfer element (4'; 5'), wherein, in direction of rotation, the angular separation between the decisive first stop area (94) of the first stop slide (91) and the fourth counter stop (47; 57) is a little smaller than the angular separation between the third limiting devices (28, 48'; 28, 58');
    4.2 acting as limiting devices, in the case of non-locking rotational position in relation to the home position, for the direction of rotation concerned: fifth limiting devices consisting, instead of the first stop slide (91), of a second stop slide (92) to be pushed to lock into the housing (6) and the fourth counter stop (47; 57) on the transfer element (4; 4'; 5; 5'), wherein in direction of rotation the decisive second stop area (95) of the second stop slide (92) is positioned in front of the first stop area (94) of the first stop slide (91).
  4. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that the second stop slide (92) is shaped like a strip, with its front part being provided with the stop area (95) on the narrow side (98) in relation to the direction of rotation of the handle (10; 11) and having on its back locking devices (93) for locking into the corresponding counter locking devices (64) of the housing (6).
  5. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 2 or 3, characterised in that the first and second stop slides (91; 92) are shaped like a strip, that their front is provided with the stop area (94; 95) on the narrow side (96; 98) in relation to the direction of rotation of the handle (10; 11; 2) and their back has locking devices (93) for locking into the corresponding counter locking devices (64) of the housing (6) and that the first stop slide (91) opposite the second stop slide (92) is provided in the front with a notch (97) to form the first stop area (94).
  6. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 1, characterised in that two switch tappets (81) of the same kind are guided, two of the same first and second stops (66; 68) are formed and two of the same counter locking devices (64) are formed for the second stop slides (92), in each case diametrically opposite in the housing (6).
  7. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 2, characterised in that two of the same switch tappets (81) are arranged, two of the same third stops (28) and two of the same counter locking devices (64) are formed for the first and second stop slides (91; 92), in each case diametrically opposite in the housing (6).
  8. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 3, characterised in that two of the same switch tappets (81) are arranged, two of the same first, second and third stops (66; 68; 28) are formed and two of the same counter locking devices (64) are formed for the first and second stop slides (91; 92), in each case diametrically opposite in the housing (6).
  9. Modular selector button in accordance with one of claims 6 to 8, characterised in that a first transfer element (4; 4') is provided for three switch positions, on the back (41) of which element the two index-cam elements (42) are formed and, at offset angle to these, axially protruding counter stops (47) which are symmetrically offset against one another at an acute angle.
  10. Modular selector button in accordance with one of the claims 6 to 8, characterised in that a second transfer element (5; 5') is provided for two switch positions, on the back (51) of which element the two index-cam elements (52) and the two second, axially protruding counter stops (59) are formed, offset against each other by 180°.
  11. Modular selector button in accordance with the foregoing claim, characterised in that sixth stop devices of two diametrically opposite fourth stops (70) in the housing (6) and second counter stops (59) are provided for the home position.
  12. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 1 or 3, characterised in that on the handle designed as toggle (10) or knob (11) or such like, rib segments (12) formed on the back positively lock with slot segments (43; 53) formed on the front of the transfer element (4; 5).
  13. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 12, characterised in that there exist at least two engaging positions, at offset angles to one another, of the handle (10; 11) vis-à-vis the second transfer element (4; 5).
  14. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 1 or 3, characterised in that the transfer element (4; 5) is provided with a light opening (45; 55).
  15. Modular selector button in accordance with claim 2 or 3, characterised in that a cylinder lock (22) of the key actuator (2) is connected non-rotatably with the housing (6) by means of a cover (23), that the strip-like parts (26) on the back of the rotatable lock core (25) engage positively in the front recesses (43'; 53') of the transfer element (4'; 5'), that the third stop (28) is formed on the back of the cylinder lock (22) and the third counter stop (48', 58') is formed on the front of the transfer element (4'; 5').
