Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Behandeln der Oberflächen von metallischem Bandgut (1), insbesondere zum Beizen von Walzgut, sieht vor, das Bandgut (1) in einem Beizbecken (2) durch einen Behandlungskanal (3) zu transportieren und mit einem säurehaltigen Beizmedium (4) in Strahlen (5) zu besprühen.
Um auch schwer beizbare Bandgüten (Stahlgüten) schneller zu beizen, die mit einer relativ niedrigen Bandgut-Geschwindigkeiten gefahren werden, kann die notwendige Turbulenz dahingehend erhöht werden, dass innerhalb von Längsabschnitten (6) des Behandlungskanals (3) in zumindest über dem Bandgut (1) gebildeten, quer zur Bandtransportrichtung (7) verlaufenden Trennräumen (8) aus zumindest jeweils einem Düsenrohr (5a) das Beizmedium (4) quer zur Bandtransportrichtung (7) in einen Trennraum (8) eingespritzt wird.
