Abstract

Bei einem Abgas-Schalldämpfer (1) in Mehrkammerbauweise, insbesondere Abgas-Schalldämpfer eines Personenkraftfahrzeuges, mit einem Außengehäuse (2) bestehend aus einer oberen und einer unteren Halbschale (3, 4), einer Innenschale (5) sowie einer inneren Abgasführung durch den Abgas-Schalldämpfer, wird vorgeschlagen, die Abgasführung mit zumindest einem ersten gekrümmten Auslaufrohr (9) auszubilden, das einen ersten Krümmungsabschnitt aufweist und dessen vorzugsweise geradliniges Austrittsende (27) bündig mit dem Außengehäuse (2) verläuft. Der Abgas-Schalldämpfer (1) weist insbesondere eine Innenschale auf, die partiell in einen abgewinkelten Umfangsfalz (900) des Abgas-Schalldämpfers (1) eingeklemmt ist.
