Abstract

The invention concerns a package characterised in that: a lateral side (1a, 10a) is provided with at least one strip (1a2, 10a1, 10a2) arranged over the whole length of said side and having a profiled opening (1a4, 10a5, 10a6); said strip(s) being extended by one or several end strips (1a6, 10a3, 10a4) having the same length and being provided with one or several cutout(s) (1a7, 10a7, 10a8) arranged opposite the profiled opening(s) (1a4, 10a5, 10a6) when the side (1a, 10a) and its two consecutive strips are folded back; the sides of the receptacle are extended by profiled tabs (1b1-1c1-10b1-10c1) one of which (1b1-10b1) is provided with a profiled opening (10b2) or a cutout oriented and arranged to be exactly juxtaposed with the cutout(s) (1a7) arranged on the folding parts of the receptacle lateral side (1a-10a); the lid (2) is provided on one side (2a) with a curvilinear cutout (2a1-11a1), revealing the profiled opening(s) (1a4) and the cutouts; the reel strip end is freely engaged but with controlled braking in said cutouts and the profiled opening(s) to be seized by the operator.

Description

The invention relates to the technical sector of packaging and to packaging of the corner profiles which are used to cover the angles of partitions, of building panels in general.

The corner profiles are made of extruded plastic. These profiles are made in great length and are wound on themselves at the way of a reel to facilitate their transport and handling. A corner protector for drywall was developed in particular by Applicant in the context of French patent application N.2773576.

The problem lay in the conditioning and packaging of this type of products, to allow rapid and trouble-free distribution for the user according to the needs of the latter.

A first possibility consisted in placing the coil of the angle protector rolled up in a cardboard box with cover and receptacle, the maintaining the turns of the coil being simply maintained by the volume inside of the package. In such a situation, it is necessary to the user to remove the packaging cover, take out the wound reel, grasp the free end of the angle protector and ensure unrolling according to desired dimensions. The operator must then cut to length chosen, protect the angle and reinstall the coil inside the packaging then closed by the cover. Such conditioning is not practical following the various manipulations mentioned above.

We know from patent FR 2565945 a packaging for a profile with flat wings obtained by folding. This conditioning is carried out in the form of a box having a lateral outlet opening of the profile.

This packaging has a drawback in gripping the profiled on the one hand to extract it initially from the box and then by the fact you always need an overhanging end to allow the unwinding needs to.

We know from patent DE 29521072 another packaging of profile integrated in a cardboard box and provided with an opening or window profile exit. In this case too, there is a difficulty in entering the strip at the origin, then it is mandatory that one end overflows from the box to be entered.

Furthermore, and in these various documents of the prior art, there is no had absolutely no visibility of the existence or not of a coil angle protector inside the packaging causing ipso-facto the need open the packaging for verification.

The problem was therefore to design a packaging that would allow the times the storage of the rolled coil of the angle protector but also of allow to visualize a free end of the strip intended to be pulled by the user. This implementation had nevertheless to take into account a another aspect which is the packaging by stacking of the packages themselves which are transported on pallets or stored in piles to be transported.

One of the aims was therefore to design packaging that not only allows the visualization of the end of the strip of the coil but also that said end is not a hindrance to the storage and stacking of packaging on top of each other.

Another object of the invention was to design packaging angle protector distributor which may be of the type described in the French patent N. 2773576, or any other configuration and technical characteristic, the main thing being that the corner protector is rolled up on reel for distribution.

In view of these constraints, the Applicant has carried out numerous research to design distributor packaging that meets different functions sought.

These and other goals will emerge well from the rest of the description.

• l'extrémité de la bande de la bobine est engagée librement mais à freinage contrôlé par lesdites découpes pour être saisie par l'opérateur dans la ou les ouvertures profilées.

• the cover is arranged on one side with a curvilinear cutout, revealing the profiled opening or openings and the cutouts, during folding,
• the end of the reel strip is freely engaged but with braking controlled by said cutouts to be gripped by the operator in the profiled opening (s).

In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is described now in a nonlimiting manner illustrated in the figures of the drawings.

The distributor packaging is referenced as a whole by (E) and comes in the form of a cardboard box of parallelepiped volume having a receptacle (1) with four sides (1a - 1b - lc - 1d) which are capable of being covered by a cover (2) itself presenting a peripheral border on three sides (2a - 2b - 2c). The reel of a tape continuous forming corner protector is referenced as a whole by (3).

The technical characteristics of said corner protection strip are: any suitable type and in particular those described in French patent N. 2773576. This coil (3) is likely to be positioned and centered at inside the packaging receptacle.

According to the invention, the walls (1b-1c) of the receptacle (1) are extended by profiled tabs (1b1 and 1c1) established from lateral sides (1b - 1c). The lateral side (1a) is arranged with a first strip (1a2) established over the entire length of the side of the package in having a disc opening (1a4). This strip extends into overflow through a connection zone (1a5) with a strip end (1a6) of length equal to the previous one. This strip (1a6) is arranged with a V-shaped cutout (1a7) established opposite the opening disc formed on the previous strip, during the folding of the side (1a) and its two aforementioned consecutive bands. Said strip (1a6) is arranged with two projecting zones (1a8) which are likely to come to engage in oblong lights (1e1) established in the bottom of the receptacle (1e) and along the line of connection and articulation of the panel (1a) in its Aforementioned intermediate strip Likewise, the lateral side (1d) is arranged with a first strip 1d1) established over the entire length of the side of the packaging with a second end strip (1d2) connected to the strip (1d1) by a connection zone (1d3) and having a projection (1d4) of engagement, after folding with an oblong lumen (1e1) from the bottom. The tabs (1b1 and 1c1) can be folded down along the line connecting the bottom wall and the sides (1a) (1d) so as to be sandwiched between the strips (1a2 - 1a6) and (1d1 - 1d2) constituting walls. These said tabs present, at the place or from the location of the oblong lights (1e1), the cutouts (1b11 - 1c11) allowing and facilitating the latching of the projections (1a8) (1d4) formed on the edge of the bands (1a) (1d). The tab (1b1) located on the side disc opening may also present a cutout in V (1b2) arranged and oriented so as to be in strict juxtaposition with the identical shape (1a7) established on the end band (1a6) on the side (1a1). It should be noted that these V-shaped cuts (1a7 and 1b2), according to a appropriate angulation which may correspond to the profile to be established of the guard angle coming out of the packaging, nevertheless reveal the material (1a9 - 1b3) in the form of tongues, in a triangulated configuration allowing to provide a brake function at the outlet of the end strip of the angle protector coil.

It should also be emphasized that the disc opening (1a4) formed on the intermediate strip on the side (1a) is likely to surround the the aforementioned V cutouts, so as to allow the entry of the free end of the reel strip.

In addition, the packaging cover is fitted on its side (2a), capable of coming opposite the side (1a) of the packaging, with a curved, contoured cut (2a1) for example, which leaves visually appear the disc opening (1a4) and the V-shaped cutouts (1a7 - 1b2) shaped on the panel (1a) of the receptacle. In addition, the side (2a) said cover is arranged in a configuration with two folds (2a2 - 2a3) and having an extra thickness (e). This extra thickness is advantageous in that that it allows to define a space allowing a sufficient exit of the end of the reel strip so that it can be grasped by the operator, in combination with the additional depth given by the cut disc thus defining a depth (P) for entering the end of the strip of material. This depth (P) is sufficient to allow a good grip of the reel strip by the user. It thus appears that the reel of material of the type constituting the corner profile is wound flat, and when inserting the end of the spool into the slots in V, there is shaping of the free end of the coil.

According to Figures 9 to 19, another embodiment has been illustrated. dispenser packaging intended to improve the grip of the strip protruding from the angle protector wound in a reel, without it protrudes from the periphery of the packaging to facilitate stacking.

For this purpose, the packaging as a whole is shaped as previously with a receptacle (10), four sides (10a-10b-10c-10d) and a cover (11) attached to the side (10b) and comprising only two border sides (11a-11b). The sides (10b-10c) of the receptacle are extended by tabs (10b1-10c1) intended to be folded down folding to be sandwiched between the folded parts of the two other sides (10a-10d). For this, the side (10d) is formed of two parts (10d1-10d2) foldable on themselves, while the side (10a) is formed of four foldable parts (10a1-10a2-10a3-10a4) as this is shown in Figures 10 to 13.

The first and second parts (10a1 (10a2) are arranged with polygonal openings (square for example) (10a5-10a6) are overlapping during folding, while the third and fourth part (10a3-10a4) are arranged with V-shaped cutouts (10a7-10a8) also overlapping during folding and defining tabs (10a9 - 10a10) providing a brake function at the exit of the belt end of the corner protector.

The tab (10b1) on the lateral side (10b) has an opening (10b2) of the same nature as the openings (10a5-10a6) and the side (11a) of the cover (11) has a curved cutout (11a1) letting appear visually the band of the angle protector having passed through said openings polygonal and V-cutouts, as can be seen in Figure (14), this which, taking into account the multiple thicknesses of the folded parts on the side (10a), defines a space (e1) facilitating the handling of said strip (FIG. 16) while strengthening the rigidity of the packaging.

In addition, we see that between the parts (10a4 -10a3) of side (10a) is provided a cut tab (10a11) extending over the part (10a3) and cooperating with an oblong light (10a12) established between the parts (10a2 and 10a3) during folding (Figures 12 and 13), in order to retain between them the folded sides (10a).

Similarly, the side (11a) of the cover (11) has a projection profile (11a2) intended to cooperate with an oblong light (10a3) established between the bottom of the receptacle and the part (10a1) on the side of the receptacle (Figure 14) to close the packaging.

According to the invention, it can be envisaged to have a marking, on the strip of the coil itself, graduated or indicated by any other sign, to easily identify the necessary outlet length of the strip of the coil, without the latter extending beyond the plane defined by the part outer side of the cover.

Note that the cutouts for the passage of the corner protection band can be in a very closed V (figure 17) or replaced by narrow quadrangular openings (Figure 19).

Thus, according to the invention, the various packages including the reels can be stacked without any difficulty, while the reels have their free end, slightly protruding from their packaging to the plane defined by the lateral side of the corresponding cover. The operator can therefore grasp said end without any difficulty. Through elsewhere, the V-shaped slots, at a given angle, combined with the cut triangular shapes showing tabs, allow to provide restraint and braking of the belt in the best Terms of use.

Without departing from the scope of the invention, it can be envisaged to arrange distributor packaging with several arrangements of the same type on one or more sides allowing an exit of the strip in one or more coils. We can indeed consider that said packaging is partitioned in different compartments for storing profile coils angle of various characteristics and / or colors.

The essential characteristics of the sides of the receptacle have been described. and the cover which are arranged in a specific way to allow the outlet and distribution of coils protects angle. The other panels or sides of the package are designed in a very classic way.

The advantages emerge clearly from the invention. We underline the simplicity of packaging realization by the specific forms object of the invention. It does not require any special tools for their development. The installation of the coil is easy inside the receptable and its insertion, at its end in the output device, is easy to execute. The configuration of the V cut is established according to a angulation which is appropriate to the angle profile to exit and characteristics techniques of the latter. The dispenser packaging according to the invention allows easy stacking storage of the different coils. Possible identification established on the strip and / or the sides of the packaging makes it easy to handling.

Incidentally, a cutting device can be introduced transverse coil protects angle at the given length. We underline also it is possible for the user to pull a longer length important as necessary of the corner protector strip and, by a reverse movement of re-engagement and reintroduction inside the receptacle, rewinding is done without difficulty.

Claims (13)

1. Package for distributing corner profiles intended to cover the corners of partition walls, of the type in a cardboard rectangular box shape including a receptacle (1-10) with four sides (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d, 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d) that can be designed with one or more strips folded back, the receptacle being closed with a lid (2-11) joined to one side and having a peripheral edge that fits onto the receptacle, the reel of a continuous strip that constitutes the corner protection (3) being disposed inside, characterised in that:

   a lateral side (1a-10a) is provided with at least one strip (1a2, 10a1, 10a2) arranged over the whole length of said side and having a profiled opening (1a4, 10a5, 10a6),

   said strip(s) being extended by one or several end strips (1a6-10a3-10a4) having the same length and being provided with one or several cutout(s) (1a7, 10a7, 10a8) arranged opposite the profiled opening(s) (1a4, 10a5, 10a6) when the side (1a, 10a) and its one or two consecutive strips are folded back, the strip (1a2), (10a1), (10a2) with the profiled opening (1a4), (10a5), (10a6) being located outside the package after folding and the strip (1a6), (10a3), (10a4) with the cutout (1a7), (10a5), (10a6) being located on the inside,

   the sides of the receptacle are extended by profiled tabs (1b1-1c1-10b1-10c1) one of which (1b1-10b1) is provided with a profiled opening (10b2) or a cutout oriented and arranged to be exactly juxtaposed with the cutout(s) (1a7) arranged on the folding parts of the receptacle lateral side (1a-10a),

   one side (2a) of the lid (2) is provided with a curvilinear cutout (2a1-11a1), revealing the profiled opening(s) (1a4) and the cutouts,

   the reel strip end is freely engaged but with controlled braking by said cutouts to be grasped by the operator in the profiled opening(s).
2. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the lateral side (1a) of the receptacle (1) comprises two folded back sections (1a2-1a6), section (1a2) having a discal opening (1a4) that enables the end strip of the corner protection (3) to pass through whereas section (1a6) includes a V-shaped cutout (1a7) that is juxtaposed with the opening (1a4) when folded; the tab of the side (1b) also being provided with a V-shaped cutout (1b2).

Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the lateral side (10a) of the receptacle (10) comprises four folded back sections (10a1, 10a2, 10a3, 10a4), the sections (10a1-10a2) with the profiled openings (10a5-10a6) that enable the end strip of the corner protection (3) to pass through whereas sections (10a3-10a4) including V-shaped cutouts (10a7-10a8) are superimposed in the folding operation; the tab (10b1) of the side (10b) is also provided with a profiled opening (10b2) which is superimposed on the openings (10a5-10a6) in the folding operation.
4. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the angle of the V-shaped cutouts (1a7, 1b2, 10a7, 10a8) is determined according to the shape of the strip constituting the corner protection (3) leaving the package, i.e. a V shape which is more or less open.
5. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the cutouts (1a7, 1b2, 10a7, 10a8) are narrow quadrangular in shape.

Package as claimed in either of claims 1 and 3, characterised in that the side (11a) of the lid (11) is a single section including a curvilinear cutout (11a1) and a projection (11a2) that operates in conjunction with an oblong opening (10a13) made between the base of the receptacle (10) and the section (10a1) of the side (10a) to close the receptacle.

Package as claimed in either of claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the side (2a) of the lid is arranged in a configuration with two flaps (2a2-2a3) with a curvilinear cutout (2a1) whose thickness (e) defines a space which enables sufficient reel end to leave the receptacle and be grasped by the operator in combination with the additional depth provided by the discal cutout (1a4).
8. Package as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that when the four sections (10a1, 10a2, 10a3, 10a4) of the side (10a) of the receptacle (10) are folded back they define a space (e1) that enables the strip end of the corner protection to be grasped easily.

Package as claimed in claim 3, characterised in that a cutout tab (10a11) is provided between the sections (10a3-10a4) of the side (10a) that operates in conjunction with an oblong opening (10a12) made between the sections (10a2-10a3) in the folding operation in order to maintain the folded sections of the side (10a) assembled.
10. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the controlled braking of the corner protection strip distribution is obtained by the tabs (1a9, 1b3, 10a9, 10a10) resulting from the V-shaped cutouts (1a7-1b2-10a7-10a8).
11. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the free end of the reel (3) leaving through the V-shaped cutouts and profiled openings projects outwards as far as the plane defined by the lateral side of the lid (2, 11) thereby enabling the packages to be stacked.
12. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the reel strip constituting corner protection (3) is provided with markings, particularly to indicate length.
13. Package as claimed in claim 1, characterised in that the package is divided into compartments to receive several reels of corner protection (3) and, on the sides constituting the receptacle (1-10) and lid (2-11), a plurality of profiled openings and V-shaped cutouts are arranged that control the ends of said reel strips leaving the receptacle.
