Definitions
- connection adapter for adapting an existing connection from a pipeline network of a heating system to the connection of an exchange radiator, which is in the place of another radiator at the connection of the pipe network is to be connected, the connection adapter being a line section which is assigned to the radiator, and is provided with a connection section, which is assigned to the pipeline network, according to the preamble of protection claim 1.
- radiators in the form of flat radiators particularly in old buildings or DIN radiators, for example of sectional radiators that follow an old one DIN standard were implemented and installed.
- Such radiators are intended for example a current radiator are replaced, the problem arises that the old, existing radiator connections no longer to the new radiators fit.
- DIN 4720 from July 1936 and DIN 4722 from June 1938 which refers to various dimensions of sectional radiators certain hub distances.
- this ancient Radiators were the connections to central heating systems or in-house District heating systems created, which is often due to manufacturing tolerances, which occurred to an increased extent in the manufacture of such radiators, additionally still led to other placements of the on-site connection areas.
- a connection adapter has been proposed for the exchange an old radiator against a new valve radiator is designed to such To be able to adapt modern radiators to existing connections on site.
- connection adapter with fixed dimensions that cannot be changed are proposed.
- the disadvantage here is that this type of known connection adapter Requires that the on-site connections of the centralized Heating system must be provided in exactly the right place and that the new as Replacement radiators that serve as replacements have no or hardly any manufacturing tolerances may have. Should there still be tolerances, the well-known connection adapter cannot be used or it is necessary to install intermediate pieces, the existing ones Displace connection or the like. All of these alternatives are included a lot of work and often lead to cumbersome and complex Crushing. Since deviations from the norm do not occur rarely, but rather this system is very problematic.
- connection adapter to provide, which can also compensate for tolerances on the installation position of the existing connections of the pipeline network of a heating system if they are connected to the connection or connections of a new replacement radiator is or are to be adapted.
- connection adapter solved, which has the features of claim 1.
- the Line section is variable. Due to the variability of the line section, it is possible compensate for existing tolerances without the existing connections of a pipeline network would have to be specified practically without tolerances.
- connection adapter it is a very advantageous embodiment of the connection adapter according to the invention to name one with a line section which has a length which is a middle or maximum distance between a radiator connection of the replacement radiator and corresponds to the existing connection and bridges it. That is, the line section has a length that is an average distance between that of the replacement radiator assigned radiator-side connection and the pipe network on-site connection already corresponds, whereby manufacturing tolerances or the installation tolerances to be expected on site due to the length of the line section can be bridged, insofar as they are still expected with a certain probability can be.
- a length of the line section from 130 to 150 mm bridge all probable maximum possible tolerances can. If the dimension of the line section is too large, a piece of the line section can be cut off, so as to exactly match what actually exists in a special case Distance measure to be adapted.
- the Pipe section also consist of a deformable material that is easily predetermined Ratios can be adjusted.
- plastics and composite pipes for example plastic-metal-plastic composite pipes come into consideration a line section that can be adapted accordingly to complex situations and thus to be able to provide a corresponding connection adapter according to the invention.
- connection adapter for example with a short line section, a connection adapter with an exactly to DIN distances or -measures matching line section and a connection adapter with a very long line section provided, so that the craftsman on the construction with relative little loss of material can first make a pre-selection as to which connection adapter on best suits a particular installation situation, based on one of several predetermined connection adapters to select the one for the relevant installation situation fits the best.
- connection adapters with various pre-fabricated pipe bends can also be used with different bending radii or other deviations as line sections for respective connection adapters are provided, such that the craftsman on site can also choose which installation situation with which pre-bent prefabricated connection adapter can be covered most cheaply without this additional work may be required.
- connection adapters require an increased storage effort, but this depends on the case can be cheap, namely if the cost of work to adapt a standardized would become too high.
- connection section of the connection adapter according to the invention is advantageously as angled connecting section formed at an angle of at least about 90 ° extends to the line section. It is advantageously at an angle of exact Extends 90 ° to the line section.
- the line section and the angled connection section can be firmly connected to one another via welding, gluing or soldering his. Of course, it is also possible to connect the line section with the angle connection section to screw.
- the angle connection section can be between the central longitudinal axis the line section, in particular a straight tube, and the on-site connection to a pipeline network preferably 40 mm exhibit. Of course, other extensions of approx. 30 to approx. 70 mm are also possible in individual cases conceivable.
- an adapter piece can be screwed onto the angle connection section if there are larger distances between the wall connection to a pipeline network and the connection to the replacement radiator should be bridged.
- the angle connection section is directly connected to a screw thread the connection of the pipeline network can be tightly defined.
- a union nut can also be used or another known connection can be provided.
- sealing measures known type, e.g. O-rings can be provided at the connection points become.
- angle connection section Line section for example a spacer or the like.
- a valve radiator can also be used using the connection adapter
- Features according to the invention can be used as a compact radiator. Furthermore, it is possible an existing radiator on site with an unspecified one Hub spacing through a normal valve radiator only with the connection adapter to exchange with features according to the invention. No further measures are necessary. A connection of replacement radiators of a modern kind to an almost arbitrary existing pipe network possible, with an already assembled 1 ⁇ 2 inch screw connection can be used.
- radiators any connection variant of radiators, but here in particular the 3 ⁇ 4-inch Eurocone connection technology is in the foreground.
- radiators or valve radiators with a 1 ⁇ 2 inch connection with the invention Connect the connection adapter.
- the single figure shows a connection adapter according to the invention in its installed position a valve connection set for a replacement radiator in a sectional view.
- a valve connection set 10 is, for example, in a sectional view a plate heater shown.
- a connection adapter 12 provided with features according to the invention.
- the valve connection set 10 has a lower connection section with a mounting plate 20 on.
- a return connection section 18 is provided on the mounting plate 20, in contrast, a flow connection 16 is arranged.
- From the flow connector section 26 extends a riser 22.
- the vertical riser 22 is a pipe bend 24 connected to the flow connection section 26.
- To the flow connection section 26 connects to a valve connection section 28.
- the associated radiator especially one Panel radiator, via a pipeline network-side located near the floor of a room Connection area, i.e. a flow and a return connection to the connection sections 14, 16 of the valve connection set can be connected.
- connection section 16 is, depending on Installation conditions blind flanged and only the return connection 14 is used, to connect to it the adapter 12 according to the invention.
- the adapter 12 has a line section 12 which has a Clamp connection, i.e. for example a compression fitting or a union nut or the like. Connected to the return port 14 and clamped to it becomes.
- a Clamp connection i.e. for example a compression fitting or a union nut or the like. Connected to the return port 14 and clamped to it becomes.
- an angle connector 32 is provided, which is fixedly connected to the line section 30 can be.
- the line section 30 can be designed here in such a way that it matches a special installation situation can be adjusted by shortening it from a maximum length.
