Abstract

Spannfutter für Schaftenden (5) von Werkzeugeinsatzstücken, insbesondere von Schraubendreherbits (6), mit einer das Schaftende (5) aufnehmenden Buchse (2), deren innerer Querschnitt dem Querschnitt des Schaftendes (5) entspricht, und mindestens einer in eine Rastausnehmung (20, 21) des Schaftendes (5) durch die Bewegung einer auf der Buchse (2) sitzenden Betätigungshülse (3) eingreifenden Kugel (9), die in radialer Richtung begrenzt bewegbar ist, wobei die Kugel (9) in einer radial sich erstreckenden Wandungsbohrung (8) der Buchse (2) angeordnet ist, wobei die auf der Buchse (2) sitzende Betätigungshülse (3) sowohl in einer die Kugel (9) und damit das Werkzeugeinsatzstück (6) freigebenden Stellung als auch in einer die Kugel (9) in der Rastausnehmung (20, 21) des Schaftendes (5) haltenden und damit das Werkzeugeinsatzstück (6) festhaltenden Stellung arretierbar ist.
