A bolt is inserted through the bolt inserting hole 33A and is fixed with a screw to the column side (not shown). Furthermore, a pair of fixing bracket portions 34 and 35 are protruded from an outer side surface of the body portion 31. As shown in Fig. 2, a connecting portion 37 of a turn signal lever 36 is attached between the fixing bracket portions 34 and 35.

Therefore, the flange portion 41 and the side wall 31B function as dust entering prevention walls and can prevent dust from entering a passage of the cancel cam 40.
- the dust can be prevented from entering when the signal transmitting device 30 for a steering is to be assembled or after vehicle loading. Therefore, the operation of the cancel cam 40 can be prevented from being disturbed by the refuse so that reliability of the signal transmitting device 30 for a steering can be enhanced.
- the flange portion 41 is formed integrally with the cancel cam 40 over the peripheral surface of the upper case 32. Consequently, a mechanical strength of the cancel cam 40 can be increased. Therefore, even if a user intentionally locks the turn signal lever 36 (a load to be applied to the cancel cam 40 is lever locked), for example, it is possible to prevent the strain and deformation of the upper case 32 from being generated.
- the body portion 31 may be formed in a part of a column, that is, a concave portion to function as the body portion may be formed on the column side and the upper case 32 may be rotatably accommodated in the concave portion.

Claims (4)
- Signalübertragungsvorrichtung (30) für eine Lenkung, die enthält:einen Körperabschnitt (31);ein oberes Gehäuse (32), das drehbar in dem Körperabschnitt (31) vorhanden ist;ein Kabel (29), das spiralförmig in einem ringförmigen Gehäuse aufgenommen ist, das zwischen dem Körperabschnitt (30) und dem oberen Gehäuse (32) ausgebildet ist, wobei ein Ende des Kabels (29) aus dem Körperabschnitt (30) herausgeführt wird und das andere Ende des Kabels (29) aus dem oberen Gehäuse (32) herausgeführt wird;eine Seitenwand (31B) mit einer vorgegebenen Höhe, die an dem Körperabschnitt (30) so ausgebildet ist, dass sie das obere Gehäuse (32) umschließt;einen Fensterabschnitt (31C), der einen Rückstellabschnitt eines Rückstellmechanismus aufnimmt und an einem Teil der Seitenwand (31B) ausgebildet ist;einen Rückstellnocken (40), der bei Rückführdrehung der Lenkung auf den Rückstellabschnitt presst und an einem Außenumfang des oberen Gehäuses (32) vorhanden ist; undeinen Flanschabschnitt (41), der integral mit einer Außenumfangsfläche des oberen Gehäuses (32) und einem oberen Abschnitt des Rückstellnockens (40) ausgebildet ist.
- Signalübertragungsvorrichtung (30) für eine Lenkung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die vorgegebene Höhe so eingestellt ist, dass sie der der Position, an der der Flanschabschnitt (41) an dem oberen Gehäuse (32) ausgebildet ist, entspricht oder größer ist als diese.
- Signalübertragungsvorrichtung (30) für eine Lenkung nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Flanschabschnitt (41) senkrecht von dem oberen Gehäuse (32) vorsteht.
- Signatübertragungsvorrichtung (30) für eine Lenkung nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Seitenwand (31B) den Rückstellnocken (40) und den Flanschabschnitt (41) umgibt.
