Definitions
- the invention relates to a household appliance with at least one against hot Water and steam resistant plastic component.
- DE 80 31 743 U1 describes an aperture for a household appliance, such as a stove, tumble dryer, or washing machine that comes out of one Plastic is made.
- DE 40 02 968 describes a detergent dispenser made of plastic for a washing machine.
- Plastics used have different requirements are enough.
- Polypropylene has a high resistance to lye.
- Other Plastics have to meet static and thermal loads.
- Electronics housing for water-bearing household appliances such as washing machines and Dishwashers or irons must meet the design requirements Reliability also resistance to hot water and water vapor have below operating temperature.
- EN / IEC Fire protection requirements for the plastic housing are limited to a few, suitable plastics restricted. These plastics are also in the middle up to higher price segment.
- a flame-retardant mixed plastic made of polycarbonate and ABS used. Such mixed plastics are used for electronics housings various products, for example in housings for screens for personal computers, used. There are already housing parts for the electronics industry made from recycled plastics.
- the plastic at least is partly a recycled plastic that is resistant to hot Contains water and water vapor improving additive.
- the additive is also resistant to Dishwashing liquid and detergent solution, i.e. the chemical resistance improved, or if there is an additional additive that has this property. In particular with a tumble dryer, washing machine or dishwasher this property is required.
- Additives that are also particularly suitable are those according to EN / IEC meet the required flame retardant properties. Such additives can also can also be added to the recycled plastic.
- additive is simultaneously processable Plastic and aging stabilizer is stabilizer. Such a thing Additive can also be added.
- Such functional additives for example in the form of stabilizers to improve processability, heat stabilizers or light stabilizers are already known, for example from the magazine KU Kunststoffe 89 (1999) pages 76-79.
- the measured value in relation to the new value is the parameter for the degree embrittlement.
- each is a longer one Period the embrittlement measured as a function of time. Based on this Measuring curves can be extrapolated to the time at which a 50% material damage occurred at the operating temperature of the electronics housing. This allows Compare recycled plastics with new plastics.
- a plastic that can be used in accordance with the invention thus additionally has a higher resistance to aging against embrittlement.
- Such recycled plastics essentially consist of recycled, recycled plastics and production residues.
- stabilizers and fire protection additives will be the quality for use in hot Improved water or rinsing and washing liquors compared to a new plastic.
- plastic components produced according to the invention using a recycled plastic are particularly suitable for an electronics housing that does the job has to keep the electronic board in its position of use and in the household appliance to fix.
- the electronics housing has the task of operating and Take over or support the display function.
- suitable Plastic parts for all invisible parts in a household appliance that are flame retardant must be and therefore cannot be made of polypropylene.
- Recycled plastic has one due to the processing of recycled materials not definable color, which is caused, for example, by lacquer residues is. Therefore, according to the invention, a recycled plastic is suitable manufactured plastic component especially for use within of the household appliance, but it is also possible to use such a plastic component to coat superficially; then it can also be used as a panel in a household appliance use in which resistance to rinsing or washing water is required.
- a plastic R-FR 390 or R-FR 610 which is marketed under the name "Bayblend", can be used particularly advantageously for the invention.
- "Bayblend” is a registered trademark of Bayer AG.
- These plastics contain the molding compound according to DIN 16780- (PC + ABS), MAFR, SE 24-N20-03-01 (for R-FR 390) or DIN 16780- (PC + ABS), MAFR, SE24-N40-03 -11 (for R-FR 610).
- the recyclate plastics used according to the invention preferably contain antioxidants. Such antioxidants are also known from the magazine KU Kunststoff 89 (1999) No. 7, pages 80 to 84.
- Household appliances such as dishwashers, refrigerators, washing machines, laundry Dryers, etc. have control panels that the user can set for him selectable parameters, e.g. Program selection, temperature selection etc. serve. Hierzi the control panels have operating devices not described in detail.
- the functions which are not explained in more detail are parts of the operating device, e.g. also device control, more common arranged on a circuit board 20 which is accommodated in a housing 1 (see Fig. 2).
- the functional parts described also include unspecified parts Switches, preferably tip switches or microswitches 21, according to the invention Button 10, e.g. when selecting a program, the user applies.
- the Button 10 is already in a button holder 8 explained below in the above mentioned housing 1 of the control device added.
- the housing 1 consists of a recycled plastic, especially a PC-ABS mixed plastic, which is the durability additives improving against hot water and water vapor are added.
- the button 10 is manufactured in one piece according to the invention and consists of a switching plunger 11, at least one return spring 14 in the shown Embodiment of three return springs 14 and a button cap 15.
- the circuit board 20 is floating in the housing 10, as further is explained below. The floating mounting of the printed circuit board 20 makes it possible to produce a push button 10 in one piece, since the circuit board 20 is under too high a load can dodge by the button 10 and thus not from their deformation Storage jumps or breaks.
- By combining the individual parts of a button 10 is only a part to assemble and manufacture, which requires assembly effort and failure rate decreased.
- the switching plunger 11 and a guide 8 of the switching plunger 11 described below in a button receptacle 7 in the housing 1 points for centering and for securing against rotation of the button 10 according to the invention, a star-shaped cross section, in the embodiment shown with three evenly distributed over the circumference Legs 12, i.e. the legs 12 are arranged at an angle of 120 ° to one another (see Fig. 4).
- the free end 13 has of the switching plunger 11 in the form of a truncated cone.
- the free end could be of the switching plunger also have the shape of a dome, a spherical cap. Because of The tapered shape of the switching plunger 11 also occurs when the switching plunger is in an offset position 11 or switch 21, e.g. due to the necessary large tolerances in the Guide 8 of the switching plunger 11 in the housing 1, the switch 21 safely.
- Locking hooks 16 are arranged, in the exemplary embodiment three locking hooks 16 are uniform distributed over the outer diameter, i.e. the locking hooks 16 are at an angle of 120 ° to each other.
- the locking hooks 16 are on the same axis as that Leg 12 of the star-shaped cross section of the switching plunger 11 arranged (see. Fig. 4).
- the latching hooks 16 have retaining lugs 17.
- the locking hooks 16 protrude in the installed position described below by an opening 22 of the button holder 7 in each Housing 1. This allows the buttons 10 to be preassembled in the housing 1, thereby the assembly of the control device is facilitated.
- the protruding nose 17 limits the height when it hits the opening 22 of the button holder 7 of the button 10.
- the outer termination of the operating device according to the invention i.e. the surface of the operating device which can be viewed by the user is provided by a so-called Aperture insert 23 is formed, which is usually on the housing 1 in different Way and thus also with different order amount with glue 24 is glued (see Fig. 2).
- buttons 10 By limiting the height of the button 10 by means of stop nose 17 is achieved that regardless of different adhesive thicknesses of the glued-on aperture insert 23, the push button caps 15 from the aperture insert 23 always protrude equally far. Without the stop of the retaining tab 17 would be the lower edge of the aperture insert 23, the height limit of the button 10, too would lead to a different, visible button height.
- Another advantage of height limitation of the button 10 and the upper stroke limit thus defined is that the button 10 due to the at least one return spring 14 constantly under a bias is held by the force of the return spring 14 and thus a rattling of the Button 10 is excluded during the operation of the household appliance. Through the Attachment of the button 10 with locking hooks 16, which are resilient, is still in need the buttons 10 can be released.
- the locking hook 16 has an extension 18 of the push button cap holding the locking hook 16 15 a paragraph 19, in the installed position a stop on the button holder 8 of the housing 1 forms. With this stop, the maximum actuation distance of the button 10 defined and thus an excessive load on the return spring 14 and the switch 21 avoided when actuated by the button 10.
- the button cap 15 At the bottom of the button cap 15 are three return springs 14 on the outer diameter the push button cap 15 arranged between the locking hooks 16.
- the return springs 14 taper towards their free end (see Fig. 5).
- the shape of the return springs 14 is calculated so that the button 10 in the rest position, i.e. with the striking holding nose 17 constantly held under a bias by the force of the return spring 14 is and thus a rattle of the buttons 10 during operation of the household appliance is excluded.
- the housing 1 of the operating device has a device for floating mounting of the circuit board 20.
- the circuit board 20 is placed on supports 2 of the housing 1 held by means of locking hooks 3, 5.
- the circuit board 20 is on the supports 2 are held in position by the locking hooks 3, 5 almost without force.
- the latching hooks 5 have the holding surfaces 6 opposite the printed circuit board 20, which in the run essentially horizontally.
- the circuit boards are on by the locking hook 6 the supports 5 held on.
- the supports 2 are arranged on both sides of the locking hooks 3, 5 Ribs formed.
- both the locking hooks 3, 5 are the supports 2 are made in one piece with the housing 1.
- the functional parts arranged on the printed circuit board 20 include also the switches 21, which are operated via the switching plunger 11, e.g. when choosing a program be charged to the user. Due to the holding surface inclined at a large angle 4 of the so-called "soft" latching hook 3, it is possible for the circuit board 20 to an excessive load, e.g. by the switching plunger 11 to evade, upon termination the excessive load on the circuit board 20 due to the inclination of the holding surface 4 is pushed back into the original position. So that is simple and Way created the necessary floating mounting of the circuit board 20 according to the invention.
- the housing 1 has a button holder 7 for each button 10.
- This push button 7 is in the housing 1 as a cup-shaped depression with a funnel-shaped End and a paragraph 9 arranged above the funnel-shaped end (see Fig. 2).
- the button receptacle 7 has an opening at its funnel-shaped end 8, which acts as a guide for the switching plunger 11 and adapted to this has a star-shaped cross section.
- the paragraph 9 forms in the installed position of the button 10 paragraph 19 a stop on the button receptacle 7 of the housing. With this stop the maximum actuation path of the button 10 is defined and thus an excessive Load on the switch 21 avoided when acted upon by the button 11.
- the button receptacle 7 also has openings 22 for the locking hook 16, the outwardly projecting retaining lugs 17 in the installed position on the inside of paragraph 9 of the Button holder 7 the upper stop for lifting the button by the return springs 14 form and thus enables a precise adjustment from above the housing 1 arranged panels.
- the outwardly projecting retaining lug 17 limits when it stops at the opening 22 of the button holder 7, the height of the button 10 in the button holder 7.
- a push button 10 is possible in one piece Manufacture because the circuit board 20 when the button 10 can dodge and thus does not jump out of its storage due to the deformation or breaks.
- the circuit board 20 when the button 10 can dodge and thus does not jump out of its storage due to the deformation or breaks.
- With the invention is a control device of the aforementioned in a simple manner Type created in which the assembly effort and the failure rate is reduced.
- a resistance to hot water and water vapor recycled plastic containing an additive for example the button 10 including the switching plunger 11, the locking hook 16 and the retaining lugs 17, the higher resistance to breakage, which is characterized by the addition of the additives can be achieved, proves to be a further advantage.
