Definitions
- the invention relates to a device with in the preamble of claim 1 specified characteristics.
- a device is known from EP 0 539 407 B1 known.
- EP 0 539 407 B1 discloses a device for assembling insulating glass panes, which are filled with a gas other than air.
- the device is as a press with two variable in their mutual distance, formed approximately vertically arranged plates, to which two glass panels, from which an insulating glass pane is to be formed, each other can be applied opposite each other.
- a horizontal conveyor provided, e.g. from a line of synchronously driven Rolls whose axes are perpendicular to the plates.
- the beam is attached to the moving plate and is between the position in which he the outgoing edge of the two Plates rests, and an ineffective position, in which he the insulating glass pane clears the way out of the space between the two plates, movable.
- a nozzle for feeding one Heavy gas provided, which through the gap between the first Glass panel and the spacer in the interior of the still open insulating glass pane flows and the air displaces upwards out of the interior.
- a cover strip is provided, which is perpendicular to the plane of the plates extending axis against the lower edges of the two plates and the glass panels can be swiveled, which are aligned.
- the cover strip is provided with a second barrier in the form of a brush whose bristles are inclined are directed upward and at a location where the spacer connection to both glass panels has, up to the spacer in the edge joint between immerse the two glass panels and prevent heavy gas in the lower edge joint can flow along the spacer and is lost.
- the desired amount Heavy gas contains, the bend of the second plate and with it the bend the first glass panel reversed, thereby the interior of the insulating glass pane closed and the insulating glass pane is between the two plates pressed.
- the press is then opened and the insulating glass pane on the Horizontal conveyor brought out of the press.
- the known device is suitable not for the assembly of insulating glass panes, in which the first Glass panel is larger than the second glass panel.
- Such insulating glass panes are Stages called.
- a suitable for stepped discs horizontal conveyor is in EP 0 549 556 A1.
- EP 0 549 556 A1 does not disclose how to make such a step plate in an insulating glass press with heavy gas fill and thereby prevent the heavy gas through a gap at the bottom The edge of the insulating glass can flow out and get lost.
- the present invention has for its object to show how in Stepped wheels used in a device for assembling and pressing Insulated glass panes are to be filled with heavy gas prevented can be that through a part of one of the edges of the insulating glass pane extending wedge-shaped gap between the first glass panel and pour out the spacer larger amounts of heavy gas and get lost.
- the device according to the invention has the well-known from EP 0 539 407 B1 Device for sealing an edge joint, in which a wedge-shaped gap between the spacer and the first glass sheet, a first barrier, which at the marginal joint bounding edges of the two glass panels and / or in the vicinity of the two glass panels to the two plates can be applied, between which the insulating glass pane is assembled and with a Heavy gas is filled.
- the invention has a second barrier, which at the starting point or behind the starting point of the wedge-shaped Gap at a location where the spacer rests against both glass panels, until the spacer can be brought into the edge joint, that the second barrier the edge joint divides transversely to its longitudinal direction.
- the second barrier exists in contrast to the solution disclosed in EP 0 539 407 B1 a brush with obliquely upwards into the edge joint protruding and against the spacer directed bristles, rather, there is the second barrier a plurality of extending parallel to the spacer, individually against a restoring force flexible sections, in particular from a brush.
- the Bristles or the like flexible sections are so long that the second barrier wider than the distance between the two glass panels.
- the bristles or the like flexible sections transversely, preferably at right angles to the axis, from.
- the second barrier may be in an orientation in which they reach to the two plates runs parallel, inserted into the edge joint and then by turning around her Axis be brought to the plant on the two glass panels.
- the bristles or The like flexible sections then block the entire cross section between the first, larger glass plate on one side and the opposite one smaller glass panel and the larger glass panel opposite Section of the plate on which the second glass sheet is applied.
- the single flexible sections which are preferably the bristles of a flat brush, can steplessly move to different distances both between the two Glass panels as well as between the larger glass panel and the opposite Adjust the plate and thus for different distances from case to case an outflow of heavy gas along the spacer through the edge joint with prevent the wedge-shaped gap.
- a stepless adjustment to different ones Joint depths allows the invention; this is only necessary that the brush is so long that it still has the largest joint depth in practice can cover. If the brush is up against the spacer advanced and then twisted, it is ensured that they are the entire cross section the edge joint can close, by the otherwise heavy gas along the Spacer could drain.
- This ability of the second barrier to stepless Adapting to different edge joints is important and beneficial because In the current insulating glass production insulating glass panes with different Randfugen usually bun mixed consecutive.
- the axis is displaceable transversely to the plates in a position in which is closer to the first than to the second glass.
- The is advantageous when it comes to very small with one and the same barrier Distances between the two glass sheets, e.g. only 6 mm and also very big To be able to seal distances between the glass sheets from 30 mm to 40 mm.
- the axis is displaceable transversely to the plates, it is possible to Always place the axle close to the first glass panel and for this purpose to couple with the plate to which the first glass panel can be applied. To this It is ensured that even at very small distances of the glass panels the second barrier introduced into the edge joint and then by twisting around the Ache can be brought to the plant to the two glass panels.
- the axis depending on the changing thickness of the first glass sheets is displaceable in a position in which they have a predetermined, Consistent small distance from the first glass panel occupies. It is further preferred that the bristles from the axis in only one Direction or only in a narrow space segment extend and that at least as a result of twisting the second barrier, the axle with its the Bristles facing away from the first glass sheet applies when the bristles create the smaller, second glass sheet.
- the axis is preferably a sealing band extending along the axis provided in order to achieve the best possible seal.
- the sealing tape preferably consists of an elastomeric foam which is compressible is and compresses tight against the first pane of glass.
- the sealing tape could be glued to the axle. It is cheaper, however, two to provide axially parallel clamping plates, which both the axis and the Clamping tape, preferably also clamp the bristles between them.
- the sealing tape between the two clamping plates is clamped so that it is deflected by bias to one of its sides, and though towards the side to which the sealing band is moved, if the second Barrier is twisted to bring them to the plant on the two glass panels. In this way it is ensured that the sealing tape always with a sufficient Pressure on the first glass plate acts.
- a barrier in which emanating from the axis bristles in opposite directions, preferably in one direction longer bristles than in the opposite direction.
- narrow elastomeric lamellae could also be used which project at right angles from the axis, e.g. Slats, which obliquely to the longitudinal direction of the axis on this base and thereby overlap.
- bristles which combined to form a narrow brush are.
- Such a brush can be steplessly different adjust wide and different deep edge joints and these sufficiently tight complete because the spaces between the bristles close, when the bristles meet by twisting the brush on the second glass sheet and not only resiliently to these, but also create each other.
- the second barrier then seals off particularly well if there are several layers in it of bristles are tightly packed together.
- the glass panels are often sharp-edged and can injure the bristles.
- the Brush is therefore preferably interchangeably held in the second barrier, best between the already mentioned clamps, which also Hold the sealing tape.
- the second barrier is intended to hit the spacer in the edge joint be introduced.
- metallic hollow profile rods are in use.
- thermoplastic spacers used which are extruded in situ on the second glass sheet. Such thermoplastic spacers are when the glass panels are assembled and her interior is filled with heavy gas, not yet cured.
- the axis of the second barrier at her the spacer facing end to provide a slightly crowned head, the crowned Surface consists of a material which on the freshly extruded Spacer, not or only badly liable.
- Usual materials for freshly extruded thermoplastic spacers are butyl rubbers (polyisobutylenes) and polyurethane. Surfaces or surface coatings on which these Materials not or poorly liable, are known to the plastics expert. Surfaces made of dusty silicone resin have proved their worth.
- the second barrier which is the flow of heavy gas along the spacer is to cooperate, cooperates with the first barrier, which one Flow away the heavy gas transversely to the longitudinal direction of the spacer verhindem should.
- a first barrier can be used in principle a bar or a plate similar to those which are also used for this purpose in EP 0 539 407 B1 is disclosed and applied to the edge of the two plates.
- the first barrier preferably divided into two sections, one of which section around the axis of the second barrier is rotatable and has a slot through which through the second barrier is pushed forward and retractable. The two sections the first barrier can overlap one another.
- a section of the first barrier is a circular or to provide circular section-shaped neck and therein the second, rotatable To arrange the section of the first barrier. That way, the second barrier penetrate the first barrier without gaps and an optimal sealing of the Edge joint in two directions cause.
- the sealing of the edge joint in the third direction namely in the second Barrier wegden direction can be carried out as described in EP 0 539 407 B1, namely by applying a bar, in which a nozzle integrated to supply heavy gas, to that adjacent edge of the insulating glass pane, at which the gap to the interior of the insulating glass on biggest one is.
- the first barrier is expediently with a sealing favoring elastomeric material, especially with a Vulkollan, which opposite the stress due to the sharp-edged glass panel edges sufficient is stable.
- the first barrier and the second barrier are with the movable one Coupled plate of the assembly device and is the first barrier is against pivoting the edge of the two plates, with the first barrier at the same time the second barrier is pivoted.
- This pivoting movement is preferably performed in two steps, the second step being small in comparison the first step is so that after the first step the first barrier Already almost rests on the edge of the two plates. In this situation becomes the second Barrier pushed against the spacer and twisted and only then the first barrier is moved completely against the edge of the two plates. On this way, the rotatable portion of the first barrier can be rotated while still a small distance from the edge of the plates, so that his rotation is inhibited.
- the rotatable portion of the first barrier is preferably hingedly connected to the non-rotatable part of the first barrier, so that when pivoting the first barrier, the direction of the axis of the second Barrier can be preserved, which is the drive for moving the facilitated second barrier.
- the angle of rotation of the second barrier may vary depending on the distance be selected on both glass panels. Preferably, however, is independent of Distance between the two glass panels adhered to a fixed angle of rotation, to which preferably a fixed stop is provided, which determines the angle of rotation of the second barrier limited. This is a particular advantage of using a narrow brush whose bristles can be bent to different degrees and in this way without changing the angle of rotation to adapt to different Allow clearances of the glass panels.
- the first barrier also has a third barrier formed of bristles provided, the bristles extend obliquely to the surface of the first barrier. These bristles are suitable for shutting off, as disclosed in EP 0 539 407 B1 an edge joint of a non-stepped insulating glass pane, whereas they is largely ineffective in a stepped insulating glass pane.
- the third barrier makes it possible to use the second barrier when producing non-graded insulating glass panes in their withdrawn, ineffective position, whereby the second barrier is spared and not changed so often got to. But even without such a third barrier, the edge joint of a not stepped insulating glass pane sealed by advancing the second barrier become.
- the mode of action of the device according to the invention does not depend on the orientation the plates of the assembly device.
- the Both plates as it is today mostly used, almost vertical arranged.
- the invention is also applicable to assembly devices, in which the two plates are arranged horizontally and the insulating glass panes be assembled lying down.
- the sealed edge joint with the wedge-shaped gap between the first glass sheet and the spacer expediently at the bottom of the two plates and the heavy gas is from the side, at the adjacent, from bottom to top leading edge introduced into the space between the two glass panels, preferably near the bottom.
- the heavy gas then displaces from below the lighter air, floating on the heavy gas, so to speak, upwards is displaced. It is particularly important to make sure that Heavy gas does not run out of this at the bottom of the insulating glass pane.
- the device for filling the heavy gas in the EP 0 539 407 B1 disclosed device in the form of a bar or bar at the movable plate is attached, it is in the inventive device preferably on the fixed plate or on the frame of the assembly device and is used when assembling stepped insulating glass panes pushed forward towards the moving plate until it comes with a along the beam or ledge running seal on the first glass panel strikes, which protrudes beyond the edge of the second plate, since they are at a stepped insulating glass pane is larger than the voltage applied to the first plate second glass panel.
- the device sets for filling of the heavy gas to the parallel edge of the first plate.
- ungestufte insulating glass panes sets the means for filling the heavy gas with their two parallel seals to the outlet edges of the two plates at.
