Abstract
Description
The invention relates generally to the field of screw caps for containers and thereby Plastic closures with a relatively small diameter, the for sealing containers with pressurized contents used, especially soft drinks, beer and others carbonated foods. Specifically affects the Invention a guarantee closure according to the preamble of Claim 1.
Traditionally, such containers are under Using sealed metal caps, usually called Crown closures are called and which are a tool for Require loosening. For the past 15 to 20 Years, such closures are increasingly used Plastic screw caps replaced, either in Injection molding process or even more frequently in the die casting process getting produced. These closures are usually called "Guarantee closures" with an integrity indicator ring or pilfer band. This extends from the bottom the cylinder wall of the closure down and is with connected to this edge via webs, the predetermined breaking bridges represent and during casting production or by a separate slot forming operation are. Annual production in the US of such Closures exceed that of most other types of Closures and the state of the art with regard to such Not surprisingly, closures are very advanced. Plastic closures of this type have many advantages including the possibility of taking off without the application a tool and the ability to close the container again close if not all of the content on the first Opening has been consumed. However, there remain significant problems during manufacturing and the Handling of such closures to solve.
With a previously known guarantee closure (EP 0 381 118 A1) straight lobes are used, none Have a weakened zone to form a hinge. This Flaps are folded up on the screw connection and led past the container ring bead to behind the Spread the container ring bead. When unscrewing the Screw cap are intended to tear open the rag the predetermined breaking bridges (so-called first operating mode). If this does not succeed, the rag lies across the downward thickened portion and carries this to the extent that a lock is formed, which for Tear of the integrity indicator ring leads (so-called second operating mode). With this guarantee closure are thus Precautions have been taken in the first and second modes to practice one after the other.
With another guarantee closure (US-A 5 107 998) there are rags that are thinner in the area between the top and the lower thicker wall section and are club-shaped hook-shaped and a Show bending area. It is stated that the lobes in engage the neck recess that immediately is located below the lower end of the screw connections.
Another guarantee closure (WO 97 00 209 A) shows the features of the preamble of claim 1. The rags form a hinge on their foot to stand against the Inside of the upper thinner wall section of the To be able to put on integrity indicators if the Screw cap is mounted for the first time, and the tabs show Cam to prevent the downward swiveling movement when unscrewing the Limit closure and the spread position maintain. The required stiffness when the Integrity indicator tape is formed by the shape Cams on the inside of the lower thick wall section won.
The invention has for its object a Guarantee closure with improved rag training too create the possibility of rags inside like that to swing far that the rag in the so-called second Operating mode is excluded.
Die Erfindung wird in Anspruch 1 definiert. The invention is defined in claim 1.
Die Schwenkwirkung hängt so nicht vom effektiven Durchmesser des Behälterring-Wulstes ab.In one embodiment of the invention, the Cylindrical integrity indicator ring with one upper thinner wall section formed to be essential radial expansion and bulge both during the Attachment to the container neck as well as during unscrewing to allow the closure of the container. The lower part the integrity indicator ring has a thicker one Wall section on and supports relatively stiff rag on his curved top edge. The lobes bend or pivot in the essentially not relative to the thicker lower one Wall section and as a result is the extent of Angular rotation by which the lobes can move around the Extent of radial expansion and bending of the upper thinner Wall section limited, typically not with more than 30 ° above or below a horizontal plane that through the lower end of the upper thinner wall section is pulled. The pivoting effect does not depend on effective diameter of the container ring bead.

Die Behälter-Kappe-Kombination, die auch als
Garantieverschluß bezeichnet wird, umfaßt zwei Elemente,
nämlich eine Schraubkappe 411 und einen Behälter 12.The container-cap combination, also called
Guarantee closure is comprised of two elements,
namely a
Die Schraubkappe 411 weist generell übliche
Gestaltung auf und wird vorzugsweise im Druckgußverfahren
hergestellt. Der Verschluß umfaßt eine Endwandung 416, die
von inneren und äußeren Oberflächen 417 bzw. 418 begrenzt
The
Innenkante des Wandabschnittes 428.The
In addition to the majority of predetermined breaking
Der obere zylindrische Wandabschnitt 427 ist von
relativ dünnem Querschnitt, während der untere Wandabschnitt
428 relativ dickeren Querschnitt aufweist. The upper
Der untere Wandabschnitt 428 umfaßt an seiner oberen
Innenkante eine Verbindungsstelle 437 zu den jeweiligen
Lappen 439. Eine gekrümmte Oberfläche 436 geht in die
Oberseite 440 der jeweiligen Lappen 439 über. Somit sind
die Lappen 439 an ihrer Verbindungsstelle 437 zur oberen
Innenkante 437 des unteren Wandabschnittes 428 nicht mit
verdünntem Querschnitt ausgebildet. Deshalb sind die Lappen
439 relativ steif.
Achsrichtung erstreckt. Die Innenseite 441 ist parallel zur
Achsrichtung.The
The
stattfindet.Usually, in the case of a closure of
usually 28 mm in diameter, the thickness of the top is
Gestalt an (Fig. 6).
zeigt. The behavior of the screw cap during the
