Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Behandlung von Druckplatten in Druckmaschinen für den Offsetdruck, wobei die Druckplatten direkt in der Druckmaschine beschrieben, verdruckt und danach wieder regeneriert werden.The invention relates to a method for treating printing plates in printing machines for offset printing, the printing plates being written directly in the printing press and then regenerated again.
Aus der Druckschrift DE 195 08 843 A1 ist ein Verfahren zur Bebilderung bzw. zur Bebilderung
und Neutralisation einer Druckplatte eines Druckformzylinders in einer ein Farbwerk,
druckbildübertragende und bogenführende Zylinder enthaltenden Druckmaschine, insbesondere
Mehrfarbendruckmaschine, einschließlich Anleger und Auslage, wobei die einzelnen
auf die Druckplatte aufzubringenden Druckbildinformationen in digitaler Form vorliegen, bekannt.
Zur Verwendung der Druckplatte in der Druckmaschine wird ein die Druckbildinformationen
tragendes Medium auf die Druckplatte aufgebracht und das aufgebrachte Medium
nach dem Druckprozess abgelöst.
Die Einrichtung zur Druckplattenbebilderung enthält gegebenenfalls eine integrierte Aushärteeinrichtung
und eine Ablöseeinrichtung. Die Aushärtung des auf die Druckplatte aufgebrachten
Mediums erfolgt mittels UV-Härtung oder Strahlenhärtung.

Aus der Druckschrift DE 41 23 959 C1 ist ein Verfahren zur Regenerierung einer vorzugsweise
vorher direkt bebilderten für den Offsetdruck geeigneten Druckform bekannt. Die Regenerierung
der Druckplatte umfasst die Entfernung der Bebilderung auf der Druckform und
eine Hydrophilierung der Oberfläche der Druckform.
Gemäß dieser Druckschrift erfolgt die Regenerierung dadurch, dass auf die Druckform ein
ionisiertes Prozessgas mittels einer Beaufschlagungseinrichtung aufgebracht, wobei ein reaktives
Löschen der Bebilderung und die gleichzeitige Hydrophilierung in einem Prozessschritt
vorgenommen wird. Die dabei entstehenden flüchtigen Reaktionsprodukte werden
mittels einer Absaugvorrichtung abgeführt.
Nachteilig an dieser Regenerierungseinrichtung ist der hohe technische Aufwand, der für die

und druckbildübertragende Zylinder 5; 6 - Druckformzylinder 5; Offsetzylinder 6.
Jedem Druckformzylinder 5 ist ein Farbwerk 7 oder ein Farbwerk 7 und ein Feuchtwerk 8
zugeordnet. Auf dem Druckformzylinder 5 ist jeweils eine Druckplatte 9 aufgespannt.
Die auf dem Druckformzylinder 5 auf gespannte Druckplatte 9 ist bildneutral. Dem Druckformzylinder
5 ist eine Einrichtung zur Druckplattenbebilderung 10 und die Aushärte- und
Ablöseeinrichtung 11 zugeordnet.
In einem nicht dargestellten Rechner (RIP: Raster-Image-Prozessor) werden Postscript -
(DTP; CEPS) und/oder andere formatierte Daten für den Druckprozess in allgemein bekannter
Art und Weise aufbereitet und der Einrichtung zur Druckplattenbebilderung 10 zugeleitet.
Mit der die digitale Druckbildinformationen verarbeitenden Einrichtung zur Druckplattenbebilderung
10 wird bei abgestelltem Druck und abgestelltem Farb- und Feuchtwerk 7; 8 ein die
Druckbildinformationen beinhaltendes Medium auf die Druckplatte 9 aufgebracht. Beispielsweise
arbeitet die Einrichtung zur Druckplattenbebilderung 10 - Aufbringen eines Mediums -
nach dem Ink-Jet-Prinzip.
Nach einer anderen Variante wird das Medium über Kontaktübertragung auf die Druckplatte
9 aufgebracht. Das aufgebrachte Medium kann farbführende oder farbabweisende Eigenschaften
aufweisen. Das Medium ist dabei farbfreundlich und die Druckplatte 9 feuchtmittelfreundlich;
als Medium kann eine Farbe oder ein farbähnliches Produkt verwendet werden.
Die nach dem Aufbringen des Mediums, welches selbsthärtend ist, präparierte Druckplatte 9
mit druckenden Stellen - aufgebrachtes Medium - und nichtdruckenden
Stellen - Stellen, wo kein Medium auf die Druckplatte 9 aufgebracht wurde - ist
