The two inking units 5 per printing unit 30.1-30.3 work alternately (alternating positioning on the printing form cylinder 2), so that two colors can be applied to the sheet 10 per printing unit 30.1-30.3.
These are the first and fourth colors of the first printing group 30.1, the second and fifth colors of the second printing group 30.2, and the third and sixth colors of the third printing group 30.3.
The third printing unit 30.3 is indirectly assigned to the printing cylinder 6 (FIGS. 1 and 3) via the first transfer drum 15, which in this case fulfills the function of sheet transport, image transport and image transmission.
According to the variant shown in FIG. 2, the first transfer drum 15 takes over the function of the offset cylinder 9 of the third printing unit 30.3. This eliminates the actual offset cylinder 9 and the third printing unit 30.3 is thus directly assigned to the printing cylinder 6 in the same way as the other printing units 30.1, 30.2.

Die Auftrageinrichtung 31 besteht aus dem Farbkasten 24, einer Rasterwalze 27 und einer Auftragwalze 28, die zwischen der Rasterwalze 27 und der zweiten Übergabetrommel 16 vorgesehen ist. Der Durchmesser von Übergabetrommel 16, Auftragwalze 28 und Rasterwalze 27 verhält sich wie 2:1:0,5.
Beim Lackieren ist der Farbkasten 24 mit Lack gefüllt und die Auftragwalze 28 mit einem Gummituch bespannt. Beim Drucken (Aufbringen einer weiteren Farbe) ist der Farbkasten 24 mit Farbe gefüllt und die Auftragwalze 28 ist mit einer Flexodruckplatte versehen.
Zur Trocknung des Bogens 10 kann im vorderen Kettenumlenkrad 22 ein Trockner 29 vorgesehen sein.

Dabei wird nur jeder zweiten den Zuführmechanismus 14 passierenden Greiferreihe 8 ein Bogen 10 zugeführt.
Das Druckbild wird mittels der Einrichtung zum Beschreiben 1 auf die auf dem Druckformzylinder 2 aufgespannte Druckform 3 aufgebracht. Das Druckbild wird durch das Farbwerk 5 eingefärbt und auf den Offsetzylinder 9 übertragen, der das Druckbild auf den auf dem Druckzylinder 6 liegenden Bogen 10 weitergibt. Die erste und zweite Farbe wird durch das erste und zweite Druckwerk 30.1, 30.2 auf den Bogen 10 aufgetragen. Gleichzeitig wird das Druckbild auf den der ersten Übergabetrommel 15 zugeordneten Offsetzylinder 9 übertragen. Vom Gummituch des Offsetzylinders 9 wird das Druckbild nunmehr auf das Gummituch der ersten Übergabetrommel 15 und von dieser im Tangentenpunkt t6,15 mit einer dritten Farbe auf den Bogen 10, der weiterhin von der Greiferreihe 8 des Druckzylinders 6 gehalten wird, übertragen.

Erreicht danach die Bogenvorderkante den Tangentenpunkt t6,15 von Druckzylinder 6 und erster Übergabetrommel 15 wird der bereits mit fünf Farbaufträgen versehene Bogen 10 vom Druckzylinder 6 an das Greifersystem 32 der ersten Übergabetrommel 15 übergeben. Gleichzeitig wird die sechste Farbe vom Gummituch der Übergabetrommel 15 auf den Bogen 10 übertragen.
Über die zweite Übergabetrommel 16 wird der Bogen 10 danach dem Auslagekettenkreis 17 zugeführt und auf dem Auslagebogenstapel 21 abgelegt.

Claims (13)

  1. Method of producing a multi-colour print on a sheet (10) in printing machines, in which the sheet (10) lies on the printing cylinder (6) over more than one rotation of the printing cylinder (6) and is provided in succession with several colours while in a gripper lock on the printing cylinder (6), the method elapsing in the following method steps:
    application of a first and a second colour to the sheet (10) by the first and second printing mechanism (30.1, 30.2),
    application of a third colour to the first transfer drum (15) by the third printing mechanism (30.3) and
    to the sheet (10) by the first transfer drum (15),
    application of a fourth and fifth colour to the sheet (10) by the first and second printing mechanism (30.1, 30.2),
    application of a sixth colour to the first transfer drum (15) by the third printing mechanism (30.3),
    transfer of the sheet (10) from the printing cylinder (6) to the first transfer drum (15),
    application of the sixth colour to the sheet (10) by the first transfer drum (15) and
    deposit of the sheet (10) on the delivery sheet stack (21).
  2. Method of producing a multi-colour print on a sheet (10) in printing machines, in which the sheet (10) lies on the printing cylinder (6) over more than one rotation of the printing cylinder (6) and is provided in succession with several colours while in a gripper lock on the printing cylinder (6), the method elapsing in the following method steps:
    application of a first and a second colour to the sheet (10) by the first and second printing mechanism (30.1, 30.2),
    application of a third colour to the sheet (10) by the third printing mechanism (30.3),
    application of a fourth and fifth colour to the sheet (10) by the first and second printing mechanism (30.1, 30.2),
    transfer of the sheet (10) from the printing cylinder (6) to the first transfer drum (15),
    application of a sixth colour to the sheet (10) by the third printing mechanism (30.3) and
    deposit of the sheet (10) on the delivery sheet stack (21).
  3. Method according to claim 1 and 2, wherein the sheet (10) is provided with a further colour after application of the sixth colour.
  4. Method according to claim 1 and 2, wherein the sheet (10) is finished with a lacquer coating after application of the sixth colour.
  5. Equipment for carrying out the method according to claim 1 for producing a multi-colour print on a sheet (10) in printing machines, in which the sheet (10) lies on the printing cylinder (6) over more than one rotation of the printing cylinder (6) and is provided in succession with several colours while in a gripper lock on the printing cylinder (6), wherein
    the printing cylinder (6) has a threefold diameter with three work surfaces,
    a first and a second printing mechanism (30.1; 30.2) of the same construction are associated with the printing cylinder (6),
    a first and second transfer drum (15, 16) are arranged downstream of the printing cylinder (6) and
    a third printing mechanism (30.3) is associated with the first transfer drum (15).
  6. Equipment for carrying out the method according to claim 2 for producing a multi-colour print on a sheet (10) in printing machines, in which the sheet (10) lies on the printing cylinder (6) over more than one rotation of the printing cylinder (6) and is provided in succession with several colours while in a gripper lock on the printing cylinder (6), wherein
    the printing cylinder (6) has a threefold diameter with three work surfaces,
    a first and second transfer drum (15, 16) are arranged downstream of the printing cylinder (6) and
    three printing mechanisms (30.1; 30.2; 30.3) of the same construction are associated with the printing cylinder (6).
  7. Equipment according to claim 5 and 6, wherein the printing mechanism (30.1; 30.2; 30.3) consists of a respective double-size offset cylinder (9) and printing forme cylinder (2) and two inking mechanisms (5) associated with the printing forme cylinder (2).
  8. Equipment according to claim 5 and 6, wherein the first transfer drum (15) fulfils the function of the sheet and image transport and the image transfer.
  9. Equipment according to claim 5, 6 and 8, wherein the first transfer drum (15) is provided with a rubber blanket.
  10. Equipment according to claim 6, wherein the first transfer drum (15) is constructed as an offset cylinder (9).
  11. Equipment according to claim 5 and 6, wherein an applicator device (31) is associated with the second transfer drum (16).
  12. Equipment according to claim 5, 6 and 11, wherein the applicator device (31) is selectably usable for application of lacquer or ink to the sheet (10).
  13. Equipment according to claim 5, 6 and 8, wherein each of the first and second transfer drums (15, 16) is provided with a gripper system (32).
