Claims (6)
- Dichtung für hin- und hergehende Maschinenteile insbesondere Ventilschaftdichtung für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen mit einem von einer metallischen Hülse gehaltenen elastomeren Dichtelement, das eine das Maschinenteil dichtend umfassende Dichtlippe hat, die durch zwei gegeneinander geneigte kegelstumpfförmige Oberflächen gebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die innenliegende Bodenseite (10) der Dichtlippe (6) auf ihrem Umfang verteilt mit mehreren konzentrischen, eine unterbrochene Zentrierlippe (20) bildenden Ringwulstabschnitten (11) versehen ist, deren Innendurchmesser (D) größer als der Innendurchmesser (d) der Dichtlippe (6) ist.
- Dichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Zentrierlippe (20) im flexiblen Übergangsbereich (13) des Dichtelements (5) zwischen der oberen Kante (14) der steifen Metallhülse (4) und der Dichtlippe (6) angeordnet ist.
- Dichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Elastomer (15) zwischen der Dichtlippe (6) und der Zentrierlippe (20) eine andere Steifigkeit aufweist als das Elastomer (16) zwischen der Zentrierlippe (20) und der oberen Kante (14) der Metallhülse (4).
- Dichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Anzahl der Ringwulstabschnitte (11) mehr als drei beträgt.
- Dichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Umfangslänge aller Ringwulstabschnitte (11) 10 bis 90 % der Gesamtumfangslänge im Bereich der Ringwulstabschnitte (11) beträgt.
- Dichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ringwulstabschnitte (11) eine höhere Steifigkeit als die Dichtlippe (6) haben.
