- This action pressure is carried out using two cylinders (5 and 6). Preferably, only one of the two cylinders will be heated.
- ribbon A The characteristics of a mica tape as well performed (ribbon A) are shown in Table I and compared with those of a ribbon made by the so-called classical technique spraying in solvent medium (ribbon B).
- ribbon A manufactured according to the process described above contains resin content below the rate normally required for a ribbon B manufactured by the classic spraying technique in solvent medium.
- tape A has better flexibility, more high porosity and better tensile strength than tape B.
- Tape A is also completely dry on the outside of the glass fabric since the resin is only located at the interface between the fabric of glass and mica paper, this characteristic limits the risks of sticking between turns of the wound ribbon.

Claims (14)
- Verfahren zur Herstellung eines sich zur Tränkung eignenden Glimmerproduktes, wobei der Gehalt an Harz zwischen 1 und 10 % des Gesamtgewichtes des Bandes liegt, durch Vereinigung von wenigstens einem Träger mit einem Glimmerblatt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man:eine Beschichtung mit Hilfe eines lösungsmittelfreien Harzes oder eines Gemisches von lösungsmittelfreien Harzen auf den Träger oder auf das Glimmerblatt vornimmt, wobei das besagte Harz oder die besagten Harze einen tiefer als die Anwendungstemperatur liegenden Schmelzpunkt aufweisen, dies unter Zuhilfenahme von mehreren Beschichtungswalzen, die auf eine zwischen 40 und 200°C liegende Anwendungstemperatur für die Beschichtung gebracht worden sind,den Träger mit dem Glimmerblatt vereinigt, unddieselben einer Druck- und Temperaturbehandlung unterzieht.
- Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Druckbehandlung und die Temperaturbehandlung zwischen 40 und 200°C bei einem zwischen 0 und 20 Bar liegenden Druck durchgeführt werden.
- Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dem Glimmerblatt ein Tränkungsharz zusetzt, ggf. in einem Lösungsmittelmedium, dies in einer kleinen Menge und vor dem Schritt der Beschichtung.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Harz ein lösungsmittelfreies Harz des Typs Silikon oder Epoxy ist.
- Verfahren gemäss Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Harz vom Typ Bisphenol-A-Diglycidyläther ist.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dem Beschichtungsharz einen Beschleuniger zusetzt.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dem Glimmerblatt einen Beschleuniger zusetzt.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dem Träger einen Beschleuniger zusetzt.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Beschleuniger eine stickstoffhaltige Verbindung, eine metallorganische Verbindung ist.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Träger ein Film, ein Gewebe oder ein Filz sein kann.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Glimmerblatt ein Glimmerpapier ist.
- Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Glimmerblatt aus kalziniertem oder nicht kalziniertem Muskovit, Phlogopit, Vermiculit oder aus synthetischem Glimmer oder aus einer Verbindung derselben erzeugt wird.
- Glimmerhaltiges Produkt, das zur Tränkung geeignet ist, und das sich aus einem Träger zusammensetzt, der mit einem lösungsmittelfreien Harz beschichtet ist und der mit einem Glimmerblatt vereinigt ist, das nach dem Verfahren gemäss irgendeinem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche erzielt worden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Harzgehalt zwischen 1 und 10 % liegt, wobei der Träger aus einem Gewebe besteht, auf welchem die Harzablagerungen im wesentlichen auf den Schussfäden an der Kreuzungsstelle mit den Kettfäden erscheinen.
- Glimmerhaltiges Produkt gemäss Anspruch 13, das in der Form eines Glimmerbandes erscheint.
