- This facility will preferably realized through one or more compressed air outlet openings.
- the Compressed air supply can be controlled using suitable valves.
- negative pressure is applied.
- the air cushion forms as described, but the lowest template is suitable by a selected vacuum just so tight that it can not slip.
- the negative pressure applied to the holes is not so great that the original does not differ from the rotating suction roller 42 could be gripped and pulled off.
- the template deposit 3 is in the transport direction by a front template deposit limitation 37 limited, as shown in Fig. 4.
- This template deposit limit 37 is in height adjustable so that at the bottom of the original deposit 3 there is a variable gap 38 is formed by which individual templates are subtracted from the template depot 3 can.
- the front depository 37 is perpendicular to Original level arranged, while its lower edge is perpendicular to the direction of transport.
- the height adjustment of the front depository limit 37 by a Carrier element 39 is held, can be done via adjusting screws 40, 40 'with fine thread, that can be operated manually.
- the front template deposit limit 37 can extend over the entire width of the Original depots 3 extend or occupy only part of this width. If the Original deposit limit 37 does not extend across the entire width, it is preferred also adjustable in the direction of the width.
- This Tip 41 is preferably not in the middle of the front template deposit 37; but laterally offset, so that the front template deposit 37 their Function also for small-sized templates, preferably in the template depot 3 can be introduced as described above.
- the height of the gap 38 is determined by the position of the tip 41 in this embodiment. It's about it
- the tip 41 is with a rubber strip or a Provide strips of another elastic material (not shown), which may be attached to the Surface of the suction roller 42 can nestle. Especially with thin originals a more secure separation can be achieved. Especially with an inclined arrangement of the Template depots 3 is also prevented by the rubber strip that multiple templates slip through the gap 38 on the front deposit 37.
- the rubber strip is about 3 cm wide, for example.
- the front template deposit limit is 37 also adjustable in the direction of transport, so that their position in relation to the device 5 for Peeling off individual templates can be adjusted.
- FIG. 1 An enlarged detail of Fig. 1, which is essentially section A of the device 5 is shown in FIG. 5, to which reference is made below to illustrate like the bottom template from template stack 4 in template depot 3 with the help of the facility 5 for subtracting individual templates.
- the device 5 comprises a suction roller 42 with which a template through one in height adjustable gap 38 is deducted, as will be explained in more detail below.
- a Blower means an air flow is directed towards the front edge of the original when it is off the suction roller 42 is detected. This will build up a homogeneous air cushion supported. This in turn makes it easier to reliably separate the originals.
- the blowing device comprises one or more blowing nozzles 55, which run via a compressed air channel 56 are supplied and with which an air flow essentially on the leading edges of the lowermost templates of the template stack 4 is directed.
- the compressed air duct 56 is provided with a compressed air connection piece 57, via which a connection to a Compressed air source takes place.
- a practical implementation is a hollow element with or multiple openings, such as a series of holes that span the width of the element extends, which is supplied with compressed air.
- the lowest templates float "through the air cushion generated.
- the original depot 3 has the front original depot delimitation 37 already described at the in FIG Transport direction seen on the front side, with the help of which the gap 38 is formed.
- the removal of the originals through the gap 38 takes place with the suction roller 42, which is arranged with respect to the front template depot delimitation 37 so that it is on the lowest template in the template depot.
- the original depository floor 30 therefore only extends so far in the direction of the front original depository delimitation 37 that a recess remains in which an original can come into contact with the suction roller 42.
- the template depot 30 (FIG. 1) one or more spacers 99 running perpendicular to the transport direction. They are typically a few millimeters high and preferably a few millimeters wide. In a particular embodiment, they can be parallel in the plane of the template depository 30 be attached to each other (not shown here). They support the training of the further already mentioned air cushion on which the templates "float". In particular through this measure the maximum amount of filling the template depot with templates significantly increased so that the user has more templates in the template depot of the device ready and does not have to add templates as often.
- the suction roller 42 is arranged with respect to the original deposit base 30 in such a way that a template is sucked from the bottom of the template stack 4 and by rotating the Suction roller 42 can be removed.
- Your axis of rotation 43 is in one Distance, which corresponds approximately to the radius of the suction roller 42, below the original plane (i.e. below the original depository floor 30) and runs perpendicular to the transport direction.
- the length of the suction roller 42 can correspond to the width of the original deposit 3; preferably However, the suction roller 42 has a shorter length, for example about half of the Width of the template deposit 3 corresponds to.
- a guide element (not shown) over which Templates can slide from the template depot floor 30 during transport.
- the suction roller 42 is preferably indirectly via a central motor drive a drive belt 54, such as a toothed belt, on the one hand on one with the Rotation axis 43 of the suction roller 42 connected drive wheel 53, such as a toothed belt wheel, and on the other hand on one with the axis of the front transport roller 7 of the first section 6 engages the drive system connected drive wheel, driven, as below is described in more detail.
- the template is gripped using the vacuum and transported by the rotation of the suction roller 42 (principle of the underfloor suction feeder).
- the template deposit 3 can be arranged so that the subtracted from the bottom Originals are guided on the top of the suction roller 42, the suction on the Sub-page of the recorded template (i.e. the page that is in the template depot 3 Master deposit 30 was facing) is exercised.
- An alternative embodiment of the Template receiving section, which relates in particular to the arrangement of the template depot 3, is shown in Fig. 18.
- An enlarged section is shown in FIG. 19. It is Original deposit 3 preferably arranged inclined.
- the template is also in this Embodiment with the aid of the suction roller 42 from the underside of the document stack 4 deducted, the suction being exerted on the underside of the template. The However, the template is now guided below the suction roller 42.
- the template is below the Suction roller 42 is guided, preferably to arrange the original deposit 3 so that it is inclined.
- the suction roller 42 is then located below the original deposit 3.
- the angle of inclination can be defined in such a way that in a cross-sectional plane as shown in FIGS. 18, 19 is shown, the angle between the template deposit 30 and the horizontal (the corresponds to the direction of transport of the originals finally transferred to the conveyor belt) certainly.
- the angle of inclination defined in this way is less than 90 °. For example, it can are between 20 and 85 °. Tilt angles of 70 to have proven particularly advantageous 85 ° proven. An angle of approximately 80 ° is particularly preferred (as is also the case in FIGS. 18, 19 is shown).
- the angle can preferably be varied by the template depot 3 is arranged adjustable so that an optimal setting depending on the The nature of the templates can be made.
- This optimal setting can be determined by routine tests.
- Experiments have shown that with an oblique template depot 3 in particular large-format templates (for example A4 to DIN A3) can be better grasped.
- the template depot 3 can be used with more Load templates, on the other hand an improved separation is achieved.
- the section of the device that transfers the from the rotating suction roll serves template in the further transport system can be particularly simple be designed when the templates are guided below the suction roller 42.
- the template comes upside down on the conveyor belt, like that Specialist this in particular from the Fig. 18 and 19 recognizes.
- a special one Original guide device which, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 5, ensures that the template is guided on an S-shaped route is not necessary here.
- the suction roller 42 it is preferred to apply vacuum only create a strip-like portion of the surface of the suction roll 42 which is in Longitudinal direction of the suction roller 42 extends and preferably about 1 ⁇ 4 of the surface of the Makes suction roll so that a document is gripped by rotation of the suction roll 42nd transported and then arranged in a transport direction behind the suction device Device for forwarding the template can be introduced.
- a practical embodiment of the suction roller 42 is in longitudinal section in Fig. 2, in 5 and in an enlarged top view, partly as a sectional view, in FIG. 6 shown.
- the suction roller 42 comprises an outer, when the Device rotating cylinder 44, in which openings 45 over the entire surface of the Cylinder 44 are distributed, and an inner, arranged in the cylinder 44, in operation with respect to the device fixed, provided with openings 48 hollow body 47, the Openings 48 are arranged only in a certain area of the surface, so that they are located in a strip-shaped section which is parallel to the axis of rotation 43 the suction roller 42 is limited, a vacuum source with the interior of the hollow body 47 is connected so that the openings in a certain area of the outer cylinder 44 by adjusting the rotational position of the inner hollow body 47 with respect to the device is fixed and in the openings 48 in the inner hollow body 47 Correspond to openings 45 in the outer cylinder 44, are subjected to negative pressure.
- the Vacuum applied to the suction roller 42 in the area where the originals are concern be varied. So it is preferred in the area in which the templates in the The course of the transport should detach itself from the surface of the suction roller 42, to apply a lower vacuum.
- the openings 48 in the inner hollow body 47, the correspond to this area, can be made smaller than in that Area in which the original is drawn off from the original depot 3 by the suction roller 42.
- the hollow body 47 has bushings 49, 49 'for the axis of rotation 43. He can go to Adjustment can be rotated around the axis of rotation 43 to a predetermined extent.
- the rotational position can be fixed, for example, with the aid of a locking spindle (not shown) become.
- a hose (not shown) are attached to connect the hollow body 47 to a vacuum source.
- the necessary vacuum can be reduced by a pump (e.g. side channel vacuum pump GV5.130 / 5 from Becker).
- the effectively prevailing negative pressure can be caused by a suitable valve can be changed directly in connection with the vacuum source.
- this section also at Rotation of the suction roller 42 for transporting documents with respect to the device is stationary.
- this section corresponds approximately to a quarter circle in which the openings 48, 48 ', 48' 'of the inner hollow body 47 of the suction roller 42.
- the strip-shaped section can be arranged relative to the original deposit 3 by Adjustment of the inner, extending parallel to the axis of rotation 43 of the suction roller 42 Define hollow body 47. In particular, it can be set from which boundary line in Transport direction vacuum is created, on which area of a template in the Original deposit 3 so a suction is exerted by the suction roller 42. The optimal position can easily be determined by experiment.
- sufficient suction is initially applied to the suction roller 42 in order to be able to grip comparatively thick originals (for example conventional copy paper with a basis weight of more than 70 g / m 2 ). So that the suction force on the suction roller 42 is so great that there is a risk that thinner originals stick to the surface of the suction roller 42 during rotation, which can lead to a malfunction of the original transport and even damage the original. Accordingly, according to the invention, the negative pressure which is applied to the suction roller 42 is reduced when it grips an original which is thinner than that for which the prevailing negative pressure was selected. The vacuum is reduced with the help of one or more ventable special valves (available from Festo, for example), which are controlled by sensors.
- one or more ventable special valves available from Festo, for example
- Fig. 20 shows schematically one Realization with a one-way light barrier, which has a transmitter 106 and a receiver 107 comprises, the beam path being designated 108.
- the invention is not based on the use of any particular one Limited sensor types. Optical sensors are generally preferred. On Two-way sensor can be used.
- the transmitter 106 and the receiver 107 are mounted in such a way that they tangentially sweep over the detection area on the upper side of the suction roller 42. In doing so, they detect the following situations:
- Originals with a relatively high rigidity a relatively large thickness, in the case of paper, for example, of about 70 g / m 2 or more
- the front edge of the template in the direction of transport initially protrudes from the surface of the rotating suction roller 42 and only folds over when the template has already been transported a distance and then lies closely against the surface of the suction roller 42. This is shown in Figs.
- 20 a incoming template
- 20 b protruding template
- 20 c attached template
- a less stiff (thinner) template for example paper with a weight per unit area of less than 70 g / m2
- the beam path 108 is namely for a short moment interrupted, while there is no interruption with less stiff originals.
- the beam path 108 is briefly interrupted at one point in time, there is a relative one stiff template in the transport area of the suction roller 42.
- the applied to the suction roller 42 Vacuum therefore remains at a high level. It can also be provided To intensify negative pressure, especially if the negative pressure has previously been reduced is.
- the Openings 48 in the inner hollow body 47 of the negative pressure which is applied to the suction roller 42 in the Area where the originals are placed can be varied. So it is preferred in the area in which the originals move away from the surface during transport the suction roller 42 should replace, apply a lower vacuum.
- FIG. 21 An alternative embodiment of the suction roller 42 can be seen in cross section in FIG. 21.
- the suction roller 42 includes an outer, when the Device rotating cylinder 44, with openings 45 over the entire surface are distributed. Inside, however, a full cylinder 110 is now arranged, which during operation is fixed with respect to the device.
- This solid cylinder 110 has two bores run parallel to the axis of rotation 43 of the suction roller 42. One of these holes forms one channel 111, the other a channel 112.
- the channels 111, 112 each protrude Openings with the surface of the solid cylinder and thus also with openings 45 in the Surface of the rotating cylinder 44 in connection, these openings each one correspond to the strip-shaped section on the cylinder surface.
- the channel 111 is when the device is operated with vacuum (negative pressure) acted upon. It is arranged so that its openings in the surface of the solid cylinder 110 in a position near the front document deposit limit 37 and the gap 38 are so that with the help of negative pressure a suction on the lowest template in Original deposit 4 exercised and this can be taken by the suction roller 42.
- the channel 112, on the other hand, is supplied with compressed air during operation.
- the openings assigned to it in the Surface of the full cylinder 110 are seen in the transport direction behind those with Channel 111 communicate. They are preferably in a position where the template should be detached from the suction roller again.
- the suction roller 42 in the alternative embodiment described above and in Fig. 21 is shown for an embodiment of the device according to the invention, in which Templates are guided above the suction roller 42 can also in a device for Use come in which the templates are guided below the suction roller 42 (see also fig. 18, 19).
- the suction roller 42 is preferred for one Embodiment must be constructed and installed so that here too a suction is exercised on a template, which is then later transferred to the conveyor belt system is again detached from the suction roller 42 with the aid of compressed air.
- the Blower means a suction device, with which suction on the top of the Suction roller 42 recorded template is exercised.
- the suction device is opposite the area of the suction roller 42 against which the original rests. The through the Suction device exerted on the original suction force is smaller than that of the suction roller 42 exerted suction power.
- the suction device comprises Suction nozzles 58, 59, which are arranged so that in a strip which is perpendicular to the Direction of transport extends, a suction can be exerted.
- a suction can be exerted at the suction nozzles 58, 59 via a vacuum channel 60, which in turn via a vacuum connection piece 61 with a Vacuum source is connected.
- the suction device can, for example through a hollow element with one or more suitably arranged openings, such as one Series of holes extending across the width of the element can be realized, wherein a negative pressure is applied to the hollow element.
- the suction roller 42 has actually only picked up one template, this is also in the Area of the suction device on the suction roller 42, since the suction roller 42 is a larger one Exerts suction on the template. In the event of an error, that two documents lying one above the other have been picked up, the suction device exerts a force on the upper template while the lower template rests on the suction roller 42 so that the two templates are separated can.
- the upper template is held by the suction device as long as the lower template Has suction contact with the suction roller 42. Then the suction device captured template captured by the rotating suction roller 42. Due to the suction grip and the rotational movement of the suction roller 42 is then carried away. After that it works Separate the templates further as described above.
- a valve such as a, is attached to the vacuum suction nozzle of the suction device electrical proportional valve (for negative pressure), attached.
- electrical proportional valve for negative pressure
- Two sensors 93, 93 'and 94, 94' are used for control. They are e.g. at the beginning of the Conveyor belt 6 at the end of the output opening transverse to the transport direction of the originals appropriate.
- the sensors are, for example, one-way light barriers, whereby however, other types of sensors can be used.
- the circuit electronics of the device evaluate the signals e.g. as follows: In the case of one individual template, sensor 93 is activated. It causes the proportional valve to move completely opens and the full negative pressure through the upper suction nozzle 58 to the passing template meets. As a result, this template is attracted by the strong negative pressure and is held.
- the circuit electronics now evaluate the sensor 94. In the event that there is only one Template is located in the area of the template guide surfaces 64, 65, the sensor 94 is in never interrupted because the template is held. After a short Time increment (depending on the selected transport speed) will be Proportional valve closed again. Because the templates used are not airtight and possibly the vacuum is slowly reduced. The time to dismantle The vacuum can be reduced by choosing a valve that has its own channel for ventilation. The template is now taken up again by the sowing roller 42 and from the Spending opening 67 pushed onto the conveyor belt 6, where it is now for further transport can be detected.
- the top template is as above described when sensor 93 triggers. However, the suction power of the vacuum is sufficient not enough to also include the lower template. This will continue from the prevailing negative pressure of the suction roller 42, and by the rotational movement of the Roller transported.
- the template triggers the sensor 94, the one that already prevails Maintain negative pressure on the template already held, so that the template does not can be taken.
- the lower template is taken as already described above and as usual from the area of the template guide surfaces 64, 65 onto the conveyor belt 6 pushed and captured there.
- the sensor 94 is no longer interrupted. This is from the Circuit electronics implemented, and after a small period of time (depending on the selected speed) the valve is closed as already described above, so that the negative pressure can be reduced again and the previously held template now can be removed from the area of the template guide surfaces 64, 65.
- This method can be further developed by a further suction device 96 below the first suction device, e.g. in front of the entry opening 66 or on the side of the upper curved template guide surface 64 is attached. It consists of one Opening with a nozzle 97 and a vacuum channel 98. At the nozzle is again A valve 92 'is attached to the vacuum supply line via a vacuum hose.
- the second suction device can also be realized simply in that the first Suction device further rows of suction nozzles can be provided. That way a suction can be exerted on a template over a larger area.
- the circuit electronics work with sensors 93 and 94 in exactly the same way as above described together.
- templates can also be securely captured (held) if they have a higher paper stiffness.
- the sensors 93 and 94 described can also further up, that is, in the area of the template guide surfaces 64, 65 become. This means that even smaller original formats can be safely recorded as described.
- the suction roller 42 or the Vacuum device applied can vary. So a suitable negative pressure depending on the nature of the templates. Furthermore, the negative pressure can also be varied in time during the transport of a template. Should be a template from of the suction device can be sucked in and held in place for a short time to the suction roller 42 applied negative pressure can be reduced or canceled, so that a template particularly can be effectively sucked in by the suction device. Are two templates from the Suction roller 42 withdrawn at the same time, so the upper template of the Suction device can be held securely. On the other hand, the one to the Suction device applied vacuum can be reduced for a suitable period of time to enable a particularly smooth transport by the suction roller 42.
- the suction through the suction roller 42 relative to the suction of the suction device can be reduced so that a template located in the area of the suction device is held while then the suction through the suction device relative to Suction roller 42 is reduced to facilitate the transport of the original.
- a template located in the area of the suction device is held while then the suction through the suction device relative to Suction roller 42 is reduced to facilitate the transport of the original.
- the vacuum on the suction device can be maintained so that the upper Template can be held while the lower is transported by the suction roller 42 becomes.
- the upper template which is initially held, is also removed by the suction roller 42 recorded and transported on.
- the position of a template can be used to control the negative pressure with the help of suitably arranged sensors.
- Case (b) corresponds to a situation in which the suction roller 42 initially has two has overlaid templates.
- the negative pressure applied to the suction roller 42 can will be reduced briefly when a document detected by the suction roller 42 in the Area of the suction device has reached and applied to the suction device Unterdurck or the negative pressure is increased.
- the suction nozzles 58, 59 of the suction device are in one concave surface 62 is arranged, which is adapted to the shape of the suction roller 42, so that a gap remains between the concave surface 62 and the suction roller 42, through which the Originals are transported by the rotation of the suction roller 42.
- the upper original is through Suction is held on the concave surface 62.
- suction nozzles in the concave surface 58, 59 there are 62 suction nozzles in the concave surface 58, 59 arranged in two or more rows.
- suction nozzles 58 and lower suction nozzles 59 are provided. If now the error occurs that from the suction roll 42 more than two superimposed originals have been taken, then the top one submission through the first row of suction nozzles in the transport direction, i.e. the upper suction nozzles 58, recorded.
- One or more other templates that differ between this from the Suction device held and the template lying on the suction roller 42 can then use one or more additional rows of suction nozzles, such as the one below Suction nozzles 59, are held so that the originals finally scale-like offset from each other by the suction device. Meanwhile spins the suction roller 42 and transports the bottom template. If this has happened, it will the next template is gripped by the suction roller 42 and transported away since it is the largest Has contact surface with the suction roller 42 and therefore sucked in with the greatest force becomes. In this way, if two or more of the suction roller 42 are initially Templates have been taken, these templates are automatically correct again one after the other Order in the process.
