Description

The invention relates to a continuously operating press, preferably for the production and / or coating of chipboard, fiberboard or The like. Pressgut, with a lower and an upper press plate, one around lower press plate and an endless one guided around the upper press plate Press belt and an arrangement for building and maintaining a Lubricant film between the facing press plate surfaces and the associated press belts, the press over the working length a high-pressure area on the input side, a Press medium pressure area and an outlet-side press low pressure area having.

Continuously operating presses of the generic type are in principle known from the prior art. For example, EP 01 28 968 discloses a press known as a hydrodynamic press, which can be found in the Practice has already proven itself many times. It not only enables production various plate-shaped products in continuous operation, but is also characterized by economy, high at the same time Accuracies and the possibility of using an input coating process To perform thermoset films. The principle of operation in the the above-mentioned patent disclosed continuous press stipulates that the length of the entire press area of the press seen the pressure in the inlet area steeply to a maximum value of for example, increases 25 bar, then in a medium pressure range descend parabolically and finally up in a low pressure area to be kept at a level of, for example, 5 bar. Furthermore finds the greatest warming of the in the first third of the total press length Pressed material to a reaction temperature of that contained in the pressed material Binder of, for example, 180 ° Celsius or higher instead.

Thus, the greatest pressure is in the first third of the press on the inlet side exerted on the pressed material and the greatest amount of heat in the pressed material transfer. The conventional one known from the prior art Isobaric lubricant film with a continuous press used Thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm between the press belts and the associated ones upper and lower press plates thus has particularly in the high pressure area to fulfill a double task for the press. The transfer high pressures in connection with a large heat transfer through the lubricant film makes a high on conventional presses Amount of energy required, in addition, increase those to be met Framework conditions for thermal conductivity and pressure transfer the wear of the press oil used.

The object of the present invention is therefore a continuously working Develop the press of the generic type so that the Use of energy and operating costs when operating such presses reduced and the service life of the oils of the presses increased become.

This task is viewed in conjunction with the generic characteristics through the technical teaching of the characterizing part of the claim 1 solved.

The main solution is that in the press entrance Area across the full width and essentially the length of the Press high pressure area between the press plates and the respective associated press belt a roller carpet is arranged.

The diameter of the rollers should be as small as possible (for Example in the range 12 mm to 20 mm) to ensure even pressure on the steel belts and thus on the material to be pressed, since smaller rolls the distance between the successive rows of rolls stain and result in an almost even pressure application. The As a result of the even application of pressure, the surface finish is better and a longer service life of the steel press belts.

With this design according to the invention, especially in the press area, in the conventional way through the use of a lubricant film from 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm between the press belt and press plate particularly high energy consumption is now necessary mechanically the roller carpet both the pressing pressure and the heat from the Transfer the press plate to the press belt and thus the material to be pressed. There are therefore no high pressure pumps for the provision of the lubricant film necessary, which makes it independent of the one to be transmitted Pressure does not require any energy to maintain the pressure becomes. In addition, the roller carpet faces the state of the Technology has a better thermal conductivity of approx. 440 W / (m * k), whereas for the oil lubricants used in the prior art only Thermal conductivities up to a maximum of 370 W / (m * k) can be specified.

Further advantageous configurations of the subject matter of the invention result derive from the features of the subclaims.

Depending on the material to be pressed and the resulting pressing curves during the passage of the pressed material through the continuously working It can be advantageous if the roller carpet in its press Length extension seen in the working direction of the press, in addition at least in a part of the area facing the high pressure area Section of the medium pressure range is arranged. Because in this area relatively high pressure values in the medium pressure range expansion of the roller carpet in this area enables one additional energy savings during press operation.

The arrangement for the roller carpet then immediately follows Structure and maintenance of the lubricant film between the mutually facing press plate surfaces and the associated Press belts. In these areas of the press, the u. a. as a calibration area serves for the material to be pressed, the internal pressure in the material to be pressed decreases with the Hardening of the binder towards zero, the temperature in the material to be pressed held upright by the press or lowered in the calibration range in order to to cool the material to be pressed.

In this area there is an advantage between the press plate and press belt use existing lubricant film, which consists in that the Temperature is controlled more quickly and directly by the circulating oil can be as with the roller carpet located in the front area. Thus, the curing and calibration of the pressed material, which the Has left the area of the roller carpet, warmed there and compressed has been in the back of the continuously working press controlled the lubricant film used here with great care so that any existing ones caused by the roller carpet Unevenness can be leveled out easily.

Since the oil is not so heavily loaded in the low pressure range, it increases Life. As the amount of heat to be transferred is still small, no large amount of oil required for heat transfer.

Thus, the design according to the invention enables the working press both a significant energy saving in the Achieve press operation and a reduction in manufacturing tolerances up to +/- 6/100 mm as well as the possibility of the input direct coating process perform with thermoset films
