Claims (13)
- Painting device comprising a handle (300) and a frame (200, 400) forming a spindle (240, 410) adapted to receive a paint roller slidingly and to secure this paint roller against unwanted sliding, characterized in that the frame (200, 400) comprises two parts (200, 400) of which a first part (200) forms a wire member extending from the handle (300), and forming part of said spindle, a second part (400) fastened around the spindle portion of the wire member, and the second part (400) is fixed to the first part by releasable fixing means (500), no additional fixing to said wire member being necessary.
- Painting device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the second part (400) carries a rotatable member (400, 425) adapted to be inserted reversibly into the paint roller (100).
- Device according to either of Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that said releasable fixing means (500) are carried by the second part and adapted to engage a portion (220) of the first part (200) which extends substantially radially away from said spindle (240, 410).
- Device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the releasable fixing means (500) form at least one wall (520) transverse to the direction of said spindle (240, 410) and located against a side of the radial portion (220) at the greater distance from the area of the spindle (240, 410).
- Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said releasable fixing means (500) form a clamp engaging a portion (220) of said first part (200).
- Device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the clamp (500) is oriented to engage a radial part (220) by rotation of the clamp (500) about a part of the spindle (240, 410) formed by the first frame part (200).
- Device according to either of Claims 5 and 6, characterized in that said clamp (500) has two facing interior surfaces (520, 530), at least one of which has a protrusion (515) adapted to retain the portion (220) placed in the clamp (500) against sliding out of the clamp (500).
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said second part (400) of the frame comprises a tube (410) threaded onto a spindle part (240) formed by the first frame part (200) .
- Device according to Claim 8, characterized in that the tube (410) is longer than the spindle part (240) of the first frame part (200).
- Device according to Claim 8 or 9, characterized in that one end of the tube (410) forms a circumferential groove adapted to receive an inside wall of a central orifice of a wheel (420).
- Device according to one of Claims 8 to 10, characterized in that the tube (410) carries a retaining rib (424) for a wheel (425) threaded onto the tube (410) and a circumferential groove disposed immediately after the rib (424), the wheel (425) including a central orifice provided with an internal rib which is introduced into the groove in the tube (410) and which simultaneously abuts against the rib (424) on the tube (410).
- Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that said second part (400) includes a tube (410) threaded onto an arm (240) formed by the first part (200) and also includes releasable fixing means (500) extending the tube (410) substantially perpendicular thereto, which form a groove (510) open laterally in the direction of the tube (410) and with convergent edges (520, 530) for clipping onto a portion (220) of said first frame part (200) which is substantially perpendicular to said arm (240).
- Device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the tube (410) carries two rings (420, 425) which can rotate freely about the tube but are immobilized relative to the tube (410) in the axial direction.
