Claims (9)

  1. A roller shutter housing comprising a housing body (K) which is composed of screening covers (1) and of a least one bottom cover (2), and optionally comprising housing covers (3) at its end faces,
    - wherein individual covers (1, 2, 3) form a flat structural unit which can be folded in order at least in part to constitute the housing body (K), wherein in addition
    - one or more separation points (T) are provided in the corresponding screening cover (1) and/or in the bottom cover (2) and/or in the housing cover (3), so that the associated cover (1, 2, 3) can be opened and closed again in the region of the separation point (T), and wherein
    - the screening covers (1) and the bottom cover (2) are joined to form the aforementioned structural unit by corresponding joining means (6),
    characterised in that
    - the joining means (6) are of three-part construction with cover limbs (6a) at their ends and with a central connecting web (6b), wherein the connecting web (6b) is made of an elastomer.
  2. A roller shutter housing according to claim 1, characterised in that all the screening covers (1) and the bottom cover (2), as well as the joining means (6), are formed as jointly manufactured pressed or moulded sections or extruded sections.
  3. A roller shutter housing according to claim 2, characterised in that the screening covers 81), the bottom cover (2) and the joining means (6) are formed as coextruded plastics sections.
  4. A roller shutter housing according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the separation point (T) is formed as a locking seat joint (R).
  5. A roller shutter housing according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cover limbs (6a) are formed as locking limbs which fit into cavities (7) in the screening covers (1) or in the bottom cover (2).
  6. A roller shutter housing according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the cover limbs (6a) each comprise two substantially parallel spring arms (8, 9), namely an inner (8) and an outer (9) spring arm.
  7. A roller shutter housing according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterised in that the joining means (6) can be fixed in different angular positions.
  8. A roller shutter housing according to any one of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that at least one cover limb (6a) comprises a stop lug (13) for defining the angular position of the joining means (6) when the housing body (K) is in its folded state.
  9. A roller shutter housing according to any one of claims 1, 2 or 4 to 8, characterised in that the screening covers (1) and/or the bottom cover (2) are formed as (hollow) sections made of metal and/or wood and/or plastics.
