Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to the field of hardware building and relates to fittings hinge for door, window or similar.

The invention relates more particularly to a hinge fitting for carpentry of door, window or tilt-and-turn type and / or French opening or the like, including at least one opening frame mounted on a sleeping frame, said fitting breaking down into a fixed part made integral with the latter and a movable part fixed to the opening frame, said part fixed comprising means for fastening the rebate of said frame dormant in the form of a support plate on which is mounted adjustable in one or more directions a turntable fixing provided with articulation means for receiving the mobile part.

Documents US-A-4,986,028 and DE-U-9,301,655 show hinge fittings of this type.

In terms of hinge fittings for joinery, of the type door, window or the like, it is more and more common to use solutions to make these fittings invisible, at least allowing their rebate fixing of the sleeping frame and / or the opening frame that such a door or window.

Note, in particular that in the case of joinery metallic or plastic, this opening frame and the frame are made up of an assembly of profiles coming to define, at the level of said rebate, grooves or analogs, perfectly suited for reception and fixing such articulation fittings.

In this regard, these are broken down into a fixed part comprising means for fastening the frame to the rebate, and a movable part intended to be attached to the chassis opening and coming to cooperate with said fixed part by through appropriate articulation means.

It is quite common for such hinge fittings either associated, again, means making it possible to adjust the positioning of the opening frame relative to the sleeping frame.

Thus, a fitting is particularly known articulation including the rebate fixing means of the frame of the fixed part decompose into a support plate that we just relate, at first, to the level of this rebate of the sleeping frame, knowing that on this plate support is then intended to be mounted, adjustable, by example, in translation in a direction parallel to the plane of the door or window, a fixing plate which, receives means of articulation for the reception of the part mobile.

The problem that arises in this type of configuration is that the manufacturer of these hinge fittings must have a large number of models in stock different, which are distinguished by their platinum support of the fixed part of which there are necessarily as many models different than the types of profiles involved in the design of a window frame frame or door.

The present invention is intended to respond to this problem by dissociating, as it were, from the support plate, the connection function with the sleeping frame, this function being assigned to a receiving board on which can be mounted the support plate.

Ultimately, it is for the manufacturer to keep in stock of all identical hinge fittings and different receiving plates, these being distinguished, the of each other, by their configuration, adapted to a type determined profile corresponding to a door frame, window or similar.

Then, simply and at the request of a carpenter, he should be associated with these standard articulation fittings a model of receiving plate determined. Advantageously, this link is intended to confer relative mobility, in particular by rotation of the support plate relative to said plate reception.

It should be noted that such a receiving plate can still perform certain mechanical holding functions of the fixed part of the hinge fitting, functions which, in because of the special features of the profile rebate, newly drawn, from a sleeping frame, can no longer be ensured by this rebate. So the section of these new profiles tends to respond to a material optimization problem whence may arise the above difficulties.

To this end, the invention relates to a hinge fitting for joinery, door, window or tilt-and-turn type and / or with French opening or similar, comprising at least one opening frame mounted on a frame dormant, said fitting decomposing into a fixed part rendered integral with the latter and a movable part fixed to the opening frame, said fixed part comprising means for rebate fixing of said frame in the form of a support plate on which is mounted adjustable, in one or several directions, a fixing plate provided with means of articulation for the reception of the mobile part, characterized by the fact that said means for fixing the fixed rebate part of the frame is completed by a receiving plate having on its face opposite to the one to which the support plate is attached, a configuration adapted to said rebate of the sleeping frame.

The invention will be better understood on reading the description which follows and whose understanding will be facilitated by referring to the attached drawings:

• Figure 1 is a schematic representation in section of a hinge fitting, of the angle support type, according to the invention, coming to connect an opening frame to a fixed frame;
• Figure 2 is a schematic perspective view of this hinge fitting visible in Figure 1, the opening frame being open to the French relative to the frame;
• Figure 3 is a similar representation in perspective of the receiving plate.

As shown in the figures in the attached drawing, the present invention relates to the field of fittings hinge for carpentry, door, window or similar, comprising at least one opening frame 2 mounted tilt-and-turn or simply swivel French on a sleeping frame 3.

According to the invention, such a hinge fitting 1 is composed in a fixed part 4 which is made integral with said frame frame 3 and a movable part 5 mounted on the opening frame 2. At least said fixed part 4 includes fixing means 6 in the rebate 7 of said sleeping frame 3, such means of attachment 6 in the form of a support plate 8 on which is mounted adjustable, in one or more directions 9, 9A a fixing plate 10. This receives means hinge 11 for receiving hinge means 12 associated with the mobile part 5.

As for the adjustment means 13, for example in translation, of the fixing plate 10 on the support plate 8, they are represented in the figures of the drawing in annex, in the form, on the one hand, an eccentric 14 rotatably mounted on said support plate 8 and whose eccentric head 15 communicates with an opening 16 formed in the fixing plate 10. At this about, this opening 16 is substantially adjusted to the head eccentric 15 in direction 9 of adjustment, while it is oblong perpendicular to this direction. Of this way the action of the eccentric 14 is exerted only along this direction of adjustment 9. On the other hand, these means 13 consist of guide means 17 of the fixing plate 10 on the support plate 8. Such means guide 17 are defined both by means of a buttonhole 18 and guide edges 19,20 extending above of said support plate 8 and between which comes register said fixing plate 10.

Such adjustment means can also be supplemented by height adjustment means 13A, therefore according to another direction 9A. Such height adjustment means will described in more detail in the description which follows.

Finally, as already indicated previously, this turntable support 8 surmounted by the fixing plate 10, is intended for take a rebate position 7 of the frame 3.

According to a characteristic of the present invention, said fastening means 6 are completed by a receiving plate 21 which has the particularity in that it is adapted to the configuration of the profile 22 defining the amount or the cross member of said frame 3, receiving in rebate 7 said fixed part 4 of the hinge fitting 1.

Thus, according to the invention, this receiving plate 21 is, at the less at the level of its lower face 23, of configuration suitable for receiving the rebate of the profile 22. In addition, it is pierced with openings 24, 25, 26 for the passage fasteners, such as screws or the like, intended for the make integral with said profile 22 therefore of the sleeping frame 3.

Finally, this receiving plate 21 also includes means for receiving fasteners 27 allowing it to fixedly attach the support plate 8.

Thus, depending on the configuration of the component profiles a joinery, of the door, window or similar type, a fitting of articulation, according to the invention, can be equipped with a adapted receiving plate 21. It's obvious that, compared to the support plate 8, intended to receive, adjustable manner, the fixing plate 10, such a plate 21 is simpler in design, therefore more easily adaptable to the different scenarios encountered.

Initially and according to an embodiment advantageous, the support plate 8 is not rigidly fixed, on the receiving plate 21, but pivotally around an axis perpendicular to the plane of said plates. More in particular, the support plate 8 is pivotally mounted, at its end 29 opposite the articulation means 11 on the Reception plate 21. Advantageously, the means of pivoting 30 are defined by a through eyelet, at a time, an opening 24 in the receiving plate 21 and another 31 in the support plate 8 intended for the passage of a fixing 27 in particular of a fixing screw provided for securing, simultaneously, the support plate 8 of the receiving plate 21 and the latter of the joinery.

Obviously other fasteners can, similarly way to secure the support plate 8 of the plate reception 21 and / or carpentry.

As already indicated above, such a hinge fitting can still receive height adjustment means 13A allowing vertical adjustment of the chassis position opening 2 relative to its sleeping frame 3. If, in the past, all of these adjustment means 13, 13A were necessarily associated with the support plate 8 and the fixing plate 10, in the present case such means may still concern the receiving plate 21. In fact, the presence of the latter allows a redistribution of these adjustment means 13, 13A.

Thus, said height adjustment means 13A can be present, at the end 32 of the support plate 8 opposite the pivot means 30, in the form of an adjusting screw 33 passing through a tapped hole 34 in said support plate 8 for come to rest on the upper face 28 of the plate reception 21.

Note that the lateral support of the support plate 8 on the receiving plate 21 can be improved by the presence of stop means 35 formed on the outer edge 36, with respect to the door or window of said receiving plate 21.

Finally, the advantages arising from the present invention consist of what can be designed, individually, several types of receiving plate adapted to different profiles capable of designing a door frame, window or the like, receiving plate of which can be equipped, on request, with a standard hinge fitting.

Claims (7)

1. Hinge fitting for swinging and tilting and/or pivotally hung or the like carpentry of the type door, window or the like, comprising a door- or window-frame (2) mounted on a sash-frame (3), said fitting (1) being comprised of a fixed part (4) made integral with the latter and a movable part (5) fixed on the door- or window-frame (2), said fixed part (4) including means for securing (6) in the fillister (7) of said sash-frame (3) in the form of a bearing plate (8) on which is adjustably mounted, in one or several directions (9, 9A), a securing plate (10) provided with hinging means (11) for receiving the movable part (5), characterised in that said means for securing (6) the fixed part (4) in the fillister (7) of the sash-frame (3) are completed with a receiving plate (21) having, at the level its face (23) opposite the one against which is inserted the bearing plate (8), a configuration adapted to said fillister (7) of the sash-frame (3).

Hinge fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that the receiving plate (21) is perforated with openings (24, 25, 26) for the passing through of fastening organs, such as screws or the like, and comprises means for receiving fastening organs (27) allowing to firmly insert the bearing plate (9) against it.
3. Hinge fitting according to any of the preceding claims, characterised in that the bearing plate (8) is inserted using pivoting means (30) against the receiving plate (21).
4. Hinge fitting according to claim 3, characterised in that the bearing plate (9) is pivotally mounted, at its end (29) opposite the hinging means (11) corresponding to the securing plate (10), on the receiving plate (21).

Hinge fitting according to claim 3 or 4, characterised in that the pivoting means (30) are defined by an eyelet passing through both an opening (24) in the receiving plate (21) and an opening (31) in the bearing plate (8) for the passing through of a fastening organ (27), in particular a fastening screw for simultaneously making integral the bearing plate (8) with the receiving plate (21) and the latter with the fillister (7) of the sash-frame (3).

Hinge fitting according to any of the preceding claims 3 to 5, characterised in that the bearing plate (8) includes, at its end (32) opposite the pivoting means (30), an adjusting screw (33) passing through a tapped hole (34) in said bearing plate (8), in order to rest on the upper face (28) of the receiving plate (21).
7. Hinge fitting according to any of claims 3 to 6, characterised in that the receiving plate (21) is provided with stopping means (35) contributing to laterally hold the bearing plate (8) on this receiving plate (21).
