Definitions
- the present invention relates to an article textiles in the field of bathroom linen consisting of terry-type terry cloth.
- a tissue type is known sponge comprising weft threads and warp threads, some of the weft threads being elastic and others not, loops being formed by the weft yarns not elastic. When the fabric is stretched in the weft direction, curls disappear, which affects properties fabric sponge.
- the present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages of offering an article of bathroom linen terry woven, including a bath towel, which can be simply tie around the body or head without the knot coming undone when we start walk, so you can keep both hands free for other activities, without the towel falling.
- the article of linen thread-woven toilet made of suitable material for the sponge is as defined in claim 1.
- inventive toilet article is softer and more pleasant to the touch than art prior.
- elastic material materials who after being stretched over at least 160% of their initial length lose at least 25% and preferably at least 50% of their elongation when the force stretching stops.
- Suitable elastic materials of this kind are for example elasthane, lycra, copolymers block such as poly (ethylene-butene), poly (ethylene-hexene), poly (ethylene-propylene), poly (ethylene-octene), poly (styrene-butadiene-styrene), poly (styrene-ethylene and butylene-styrene) poly (styrene-isoprene-styrene), poly (styrene-ethylene-butylene-styrene), a poly (ester-etheroxide), a poly (etheroxide-amide), poly (ethylene-vinyl acetate), poly (ethylene-methyl acrylate), poly (ethylene-acid acrylic), poly (ethylene butyl acrylate) and mixtures thereof, as well as tetra-sequenced copolymers such as for example a styrene (polyethylene-propylene) -styrene-poly (ethylene
- weft threads are made of elastic material if the extensibility of the article is sought in the weft direction
- threads bottom chain are made of elastic material if the extensibility of the article is sought in the direction bottom chain
- / or weft threads and bottom chain are made of elastic material if the extensibility is sought in both directions.
- the elastic material is spandex or gum.
- the bottom chain wires are made of material elastic, preferably between 25 and 75%, for example 33% (1 of 3).
- the loop threads are all made of non-material elastic.
- the present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a bathroom linen article such as as previously described.
- Figure 2 schematically represents a loom weaving for weaving a bathroom linen article according to the invention. It is a classic job. Of them beams 11 and 12 respectively supply the device in ground wire 1 and loop wire 2. The quantity of material for weaving a different sponge-like item between the bottom wires and the loop wires. this is more commonly known as embuvage.
- All the bottom and loop chain wires is ordered (raised or lowered) by group in the case of a dobby weaving on the order of 200 to 600 threads and individually (or by group) in the case of a fabric jacquard.
- the threads of the chains are introduced into the eyelets of the meshes, themselves integral with the healds and battens 14 in the case of a dobby or integral weaving arcades operated by hooks in the case of a jacquard weaving.
- the action of raising or lowering, by group, the battens or hooks cause crowd formation 16 into which the weft thread 3 is inserted.
- the opening of the crowd 16 is done while maintaining a tension constant for all wires 1, 2 of the bottom and loops.
- Weft thread 3 is distributed by a donor who calls the wire, stores it on a drum and distributes it to the time at the frame vector.
- the donor is no longer named commonly a pre-deliverer and its usefulness lies in the fact that it facilitates the scrolling with great speed while maintaining a regularity of tension in exit.
- the loop is formed preferably as follows, knowing that other ways to do of course remain applicable to this invention.
- a comb 17 through the leaf 18 acts on the two weft threads by positioning them at a certain distance from the facade 19 of the fabric. Then at third weft thread inserted, comb 17 brings the set of three weft threads against the facade 19 for thus form the loop and therefore the desired fabric 10.
- the wires bottom chain and loop 1 and 2 intertwine as well with the weft threads 3.
- Figure 3b specifies the armor used for get the interlacing of figure 3a and in figure 4 we can see the profile resulting from the previous figures.
- a loop 21 is visible from the right, while loop 22 is visible on the reverse.
- the progress of the comb is indicated by arrow 25.
- the bottom chain wires 1 are braked in being very tight (see Figure 4 wire 1 to the part left of the drawing). This promotes the sliding of the loop. This process of weaving weft yarn and combing loop is well known in the art.
- yarns of an elastic material for example a yarn comprising spandex or gum.
- Figure 5b specifies the armor used for obtain the interlacing shown in Figure 5a, in which one inserts an elastic thread every three threads i.e. that there are two non-elastic threads for one thread elastic.
- FIG. 6 represents the profile which results from Figures 5a and 5b. We can see the loop visible on place, 21, the visible loop on reverse, 22, the positioning of the bottom warp threads, insertion of weft threads elastic and non-elastic and the advancement of the comb (arrow 25).
- FIG 8a the son of chain bottom or loop 1 and 2 intertwine with the wires weft 3 non-elastic.
- the bottom chain wires are made of non-elastic wires 1 and wires 1 ' elastic, the loop chain 2 wires being non elastic.
- Figure 8b specifies the armor used for obtain the interlacing of figure 8a.
- Figures 9a and 9b show a mode of embodiment in which the two modes of achievements described above namely that we want obtain an article which can be stretched both in the weft direction and in the chain direction. So the bottom chain wires and loop intertwine with 3 weft yarns no elastic and 3 'elastic weft threads.
- the armor used is specified in the figure 9b.
- the non-elastic threads are for example in cotton. These threads have no elastic property.
- the possible stroke in elasticity of the bathroom linen item will be set between the rest position of the non-elastic threads in which they are not drawn and which also corresponds to a position non-elastic threads parallel to the elastic threads in which they are substantially relaxed to a position in which the elastic threads are stretched, and this position corresponding to the case where the non-elastic threads parallel to the elastic threads are completely stretched.
- an acceptable stroke for a article of bathroom linen according to the invention corresponds stretching of the product in the sense that it can be stretched between 10 to 70%, preferably between 30 and 60% of its length at rest.
